Hi, i wish to flash Artemis HD2 ROM on my HD2 and need to know if i can use HSPL2 to install HSPL on it. If not what should i use and how to flash the ROM?

Just follow the link conantroutman gave you already.
Then scroll down in the first posting, there is a section called "flashing notes".
Basically you just flash the official 3.14 ROM....... then flash artemis...........
If you can get 3.14 from the HTC site then use that. If your serial number wont work you'll need to get a goldcard.
If your not that familiar with the flashing process I would reccomend reading through the stickies in the ROM development section before flashing anything.

SO basically i dont need to flash hspl just flash offical 3.14 rom then flash artemis. Just one more question what is the procedure to flash ROM? Thank you.

Mate, if you would carefully read the "flashing notes" and the stuff which is linked there, you would have the answers to your questions already.
My intention is not to be rude, but I think a minimum of efforts should be done by yourself, there are masses of tutorials, step-by-step instructions, tipps and hints.
But if you don´t even follow the hints you´re getting, I get the feeling you might reconsider doing any flashing process with your phone.

I've read a whole bunch and can't figure this out:
If I use HardSPL, do I need to do anything else before flashing the ROM?
There are the posts by vippie and Dr Puttingham that show how to do it that way, but neither say anything about HardSPL.
So is HardSPL something new that means you don't have to go through the CID unlocking as explained in the above guides? You just flash HardSPL then the ROM? Or do you have to follow the guides as above and then flash the ROM? Or do you have to do the above AND use HardSPL?
I have a G3 jasjam/htc tytn that has never been modified/flashed.

You do not need to CID unlock to update with a new ROM, if you use HardSPL (which is highly recommended). You can just do the HardSPL, then the ROM.
However, I do recommend that you use THESE GUIDES . I have not looked at vippies or DrPuttinghams guides, but they are both credible as well. I make the above recommendation based solely on personal experience and other user comments to me.

I want to continue my current Theme which is Picnic Hero. And I want to make a custom splash for it. How can I flash the unlocked SPL with my rooted , Amon_RA 1.5.2 recovery, and MoDaCO 3.0 ?
My information is that I have .0007 now...Don't know if I should do it or not, I just need it too much...Will it be replaced succesfully by .2007 ?

Did you read the guide?
I ensure you google returs nothing if I search "Flash custom SPL to HTC Hero" or "SPL Flashing in HTC Hero"
I thought guides would be more simple and needed some help about it...so I did waited and got answer to do it and reboot 2 times while I am at recovery menu.
Now problem solved and making my own splash
I haven't been able to find that anywhere???
Hardspl and Hardspl2 only works for SPL version 2.xxx??
not yet, not sure if anyone is working on it.
You either have to use the goldcard method or you have to flash as prev. stock ROM via sd card to revert hspl, then unlock.

I am used to Hardspl from other Windows Phones so I will wait...
I have HD2 with 3.03 SPL.....

As there is quite a simple and easy-to-do workaround, maybe there won´t be a new HSPL for the time being.
The makers of HSPL are quite busy porting other stuff to our great device. I am really glad and thankful for what they do, their massive efforts made Android and WP7, even with NAND, possible for us.
But who knows, time will show...

Hey i just came back to HD2 again and found new SPL 3.03XE...
Can you just show me the path for flashing NRG's ROM available here.....
i am not noob for flashing ROM's but, Just would like know the right path....i haven't find hardspl for 3.03 that's why asking....

You can use SSPL_RUU.exe
I want to use Artemis fully and note that it requires spl 3.03 which comes with stock rom 3.14.
Problem is that that has not been released for my phone (T-Mob UK).
I can use HSPL to load 3.14 and then remove HSPL - but I got back to SPL 1.66 and not 3.03.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

I know I am walking right into some abuse ;-) but I have to ask where there are instructions for doing "goldcard". so far I have only flashed with HSPL, SPL, CustomRUU etc

The instructions for installing are within the discussion on Artemis ROM, I followed the exact same method today, now have SPL 3.03 and fully functioning Artemis. All I will say is read, read and read before doing any of it, once it makes sense in your head it actually isn't that difficult

I believe I did everything required in Artemis. My problem I believe is that there is no "official" 3.14 rom for my phone (T-Mobile UK) hence why I can't get Spl 3.03 on there.
I may ask some kind person to generate me a gold image for my phone...
But if you know how to get 3.14 on with spl 3.03 that would be great.

I followed the process and indeed have a

SD card,
But the zip file in the link is corrupt :-(
Could someone generate a new image file for me

Like mentioned at the post I send you lastly; there you can see/reed that you can contact oliverweidel if you need some new image file.
I tried to flash my HTC Titan rom with the DFT rom, but I foolishly downloaded the SPL update from the HTC website and now I cant flash my phone. So if anybody can help me ,please do.

Your request contains two inconsistent conflicting statements. You need to install HSPL to flash ANY custom rom. No-one is able to fulfill your request because it's impossible.
Start playing with goldcard trying to downgrade spl or forget custom roms.

I've tried it but it wont flash the spl tough but the radio and rom flashed
I have tried the goldcard method with no success, so I guess I will have to wait until dft or somebody else makes a hspl that can be used with spl 2.6

I flashed the SPL 2.6 from the HTC website too, but I have a custom ROM on my phone right now.
Make sure you try all cable configurations on the GoldCard method. I had to use one that wasn't the same as the picture to get it to work. And also make sure you have the right kind of SD card or Flash Drive. For some reason, HTC Second Gen has been having some kind of problem with the types of cards that work with GoldCard...
