i recently purchased a lg optimus one p 500, and had it rooted today so i can use it in ad hoc mode [ tried replacing wpa_supplicant ], however i still cant use it in ad hoc mode, moreover now i cant seem to connect to wifi in infrastructure mode as well [ keeps saying " obtaining IP address..." ]
i tried replacing the wap_supplicant again [ i originally backed up ], but still of no use, i would really appreciate if any one can guide me.

I've rootedmy phone (HTC Desire HD) to android 2.3.5 and I've installed cyanogenMod7 from it's nightly build repository: "cm_ace_full-200.zip".
my full cyanogen mod is: "CyanogenMod-7-09192011-NIGHTLY-DesireHD"
It's so powerful ROM and almost every thing works Okay but I have a problem with it.
my phone can't connect to vpn server!
(I've tried several up-time VPN servers and those can connect through PC! but in my phone just says: "server hang up.The username or password you entered could be incorrect.Do you want to try again?")
What can I do for connecting to VPN server?

I recently got the ARCHOS 70b internet tablet (also known a70s2).
I have tried to configure my 3G usb stick (zte mf190) but no success at all (by this manual).
I ave tried several times but the commands dosen't work
9not copying anything).
I have installet this rooted firmware (2.80).
I would like to get some help in making it work.

is there any soft can help my Nook , receive Wifi from my Phone Nokia ( E72, E5 ) via Joiku-Spot ( soft on E72 - that transfer 3G from E72 to wifi , that help my other Phone and laptop can receive wifi well from it )
My Nook just receive wifi from Modem ADSL , not Ad-hoc wifi as above

I also setup some Ad-hoc wifi softs on Market, but the result is My Nook sometimes can't turn Wifi on , restart, turn wifi ok, but can't recognize any wifi ( i remove immediately ), and worst of all , my Nook can't start , it auto Recovery as Factory ( I found a patched wpa_supplicant and I put it on system/bin instead of the original file )

Hey Guys .... I am new to this forum .. hope i will find the solution to my problem ... I am using Sony Xperia U . my WiFi used to work fine on gingerbread 2.3.7 ... I updated it to ICS via flash tool the WiFi was still working fine on it ... but then i did not liked the ics update so I downgraded via flash tool ..then the WiFi is not able to detect my neighbor's WiFi ... while my Iphone is able to detect it and connect to it ..... my XU is detecting other WiFi s ... but not detecting that single WiFi ... i flashed it ... did a factory reset but no luck ... so i upgraded it ICS via flash tool again... but it is still not detecting the WiFi ... so I downgraded it again .... if there is a problem with the neighbor's WiFi device then how is my iphone detecting it ... I tried lots of apps like WiFi-analyze Wi-eye and lots more but they are not not showing it either ... i also added it manually in my WiFi list but it says not in range ... please help ...
Is there any possibility that the Neighbour has blocked your Phone from accessing his Wifi ? Maybe with a mac id block or something ? I cant think of any other reason that the issue should arise. Unless the network is an Adhoc one. Stock Roms dont allow connecting to Adhoc networks. Possibly you installed a mod or something in your previous rom to support Adhoc ?

my previous rom was the stock one ... so in the stock rom it was able to detect it and connect to it ... even in the ics which i had installed it after that .... and last night my phone was able to detect the WiFi and connect to it ... but now it is not detecting it ... and i don't think that they had blocked me or something ... and they don't even have a mac ....
If thats the case, then I think only possibility is h/w issue or maybe loss of signal (not related to your changing rom).. Maybe someone else might know how to solve it Sorry I cant suggest anything better Maybe someone else might have a clue
