Why don't you just take the notification bars and icons from the framework-res.apk in a wildfire cm6 rom, and flop them into your framework-res.apk and systemui.apk in the cm7 rom.
you can use the UOT kitchen: http://circle.glx.nl/ to theme your phone.
Or you can use the theme chooser.
Or you can flash my theme... if you want.

Hi thanks for the quick replys. Is there a tutorial you could point me to? I'm still learning the android system only been using for a week or so. I know the basics, flashing roms and rooting also pre packed themes etc etc. I already have the android Dev kit setup and functioning I pressume it will be required to extract cm notification bar.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using Tapatalk
you won't need a tutorial for the UOT kitchen, it's as simple as choosing the stuff you want, then it asks you to upload your framework-res.apk, then it creates a .zip, then you flash it.
as for putting and changing icons in your framework-res, you just need the sdk to push the framework to your phone (if you dont know how to make a flashable zip) - there's a guide somewhere in the wildfire general section (just search for it). all you have to do is open the framework-res.apk with winrar, and place the icons you want to change into that rar file, and replace, - ok, done bla bla.
Nice. Thanks for your help. I'm going to try your theme as soon as I get chance aswell ill let you know how it goes. Thanks again

So I found this theme on the Evo thread by Abu and I really would like to use this theme. I am pretty new to this whole thing and was wondering if that is possible to get on the vibrant. here is the theme.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=842460
If anyone could help or point me in the right direction I would much appreciate it. Thank You!
Also, the one on the evo is used with the cyanogen mod, does this matter or is it possible to make it work with Nero?
That's tight, would like to see this happen too
Looking at the theme, its a flashable zip that replaces the framework-res.apk, and several system apk with themed ones. Theoretically the drawables in the framework-res.apk could be used on the vibrant, but I don't think the xml's and the system apps would work. If you're just looking for the status bar being modded, that could easily be made into a metamorph. But all the other stuff would take more time and effort.

Yea I wad able to get some of it over vis theme injector but what I really want is the status bar, phone skin and keyboard, I cannot seem to figure out how to get. those

This is a nice colorful theme for the cm7 on the evo. It has some really cool features, like the battery gauge.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920165
I am going to work on something similar to this but I would like it to be a apk to be chosen in the theme chooser so I am going to be doing some studying up on it this week. I could make the theme but not sure how to build the apk the correct way.
That would be amazing.

The lock screens are from widget locker app, the battery mod looks to be a morph but I'm not sure where it is from. I know theres a thread here that has a lot of battery morphs, not sure if it had this one and I'm not sure if it would work with CM7
:: edit :: nevermind. I was woefully mistaken.

Not currently, but if you could detail how to install that theme, I'd switch back.

When I try to run it I get a error stating update-script is no longer supported. It say please switch to edify scripting updater-script and update-binary to create a working update zip package
cm7 #21
CWM 3.0.0.5
It needs to be be a different type of script. That update zip ain't going to work.
ok
download theme
unzip it
system/framework/framework.apk
open drawable-hdpi
in there you can change the icons
as long as they are the same size(right click properties/summary)
you can do this to any rom
once you change the icon put back into the original zip
reflash rom
done
p.s. i use winzip
here is cm7 theme #21 ( a touch of that theme you like and colorized) thank the devolopers for the theme, i just blended them.

how did you manage to put on your MT4G I have tried every CM7 build and mixer that goes with CM7 version and cannot get it to work please explain how you did this.
you need to open the rom
use winzip
go to system/framework/framework.apk/drawable-hdpi
in the file open it, you will see icons...just change them copy and paste with another rom...THEY MUST BE THE SAME SIZE( EXAMPLE 72X72) IF NOT THE SAME FROM ROM TO ROM WONT WORK.
easiest way copy one drawable-hdpi to desktop and do the same with other rom. then insert it back to the rom you want.
flash it..done
Guys download Androidian its swine the developer should make more

I have tried to build the theme with the new theme engine but there isn't enough documentation and its not powerful enough anyway..
I believe someone is already working on a port for this and I'll try to help them since I obviously don't have the phone myself.
Can someone flash this on n23 and let me know if..transparent dialer/phone/contact page works..also if transparent statusbar pulldown..
NAND backup first..thanks
http://www.4shared.com/file/mclP4N_2/Mixer-Glacier-cm7-n23.html
Tested and working.
Will this run on Ice Glacier? I'd be willing to do a NAND backup and give a test flash when I get home if it looks promising.

First of all, thanks to Sonny for his great work!
This is a modified version of his MDPI, originally found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1310925
Unfortunately, it doesn't work correctly on the nookCOLOR due to the status bar buttons being too small.
So, I've modified the theme so that the buttons are in the MDPI folder (making them bigger AND clickable).
( added a little bit of ICS color flair )
Let me know what you think!
I like it. Any way u can add the ics wifi icon.
Thanks!
It should already have the right icon ... I just ported the theme.
If you can show me a screenshot, I'll take a look at it.

Nevermind I thought the wifi icon had no breaks in it and it was solid. But just double checked with my ics vibrant and it has wifi strength line breaks in it.Anyways this is my favorite theme right now you did a excellent job. Most of the themes soft buttons were too small these are just the right size.
No prob
I really liked Sonny's theme, which I'm using on my Evo ... just need the buttons to work for the NC

how did you modify the theme? I noticed the LunarUI theme has the exact same problem with the statusbar icons being too small and not in the MDPI folder.

Hey guys,
Im back again and this time with my ICS theme/skin for sense 3.0. Many modifications have been made and I'm gonna be making more to make as close as possible to the real deal!
***Update 3/25/12!***
Download ICSSpark v2.05 zip Mirror (Evo3d CDMA users only)
-Nandroid backup just to be safe!
-select blue for all the static color icons in leedroid tweaks
ROM Compatibility List:
ViperROM - Yes (I use it)
Mean Rom 3.2 - Yes
Infected Rom - Maybe
***Update 1/9/12!*** (old base)
Download ICSSpark v1.9 zip Mirror (Evo3d CDMA users only)
-Zip also includes themed rosie, status bar, htc.resources and framework-res so if your Rom is based on different bases like sensation or sense 3.5 etc (Olympus for example) it won't work....
-the apks come from a 2.3.4 base so I dont think they will all work on 2.3.3 roms.
-Wipe Cache and Dalvik just to be safe and keep your rom zip handy incase things go south.
-I am not responsible for any damages, freezes, bootloops or bags of crap in front of your house
***Once you download and flash the zip, make sure to select ICSSpark from the personalize menu***
Download ICSSpark v2.0 Skin Apk from here (for any sense 3.0 device)
http://www.box.com/s/hsrcr0f15si1ai8mgx0n
-Install it manually and select it through the personalize menu
Click Here for abu_noah's ICS Splash screens
If you like what i do Hit thanks, donate, comment, critique or help me improve!
A very big thanks to steal25 for helping me get my theme ready for the new base, he_stheone24 for his status bar battery icons, il duce and all the people over at the intro to themeing thread!
Also big thanks to j4n87 for leedroid tweaks and vinchenzop for letting me bother him with my annoying questions

Awesome theme! Just need to change all the highlight, icon unread counts, etc to ICS blue and the theme would be even better!
Awesome skin! Maybe do you know how to change the notification bar header image? This is the only thing that needed before the skin would be perfect. I tried both skins, system ui and framework apk and couldn't find the way. Thanks!

Aw yeah! Finally ICS theme for Sense 3.0! thanks man!!
But in my opinion i don't change lockscreen ring and direct shortcourts, and the rosie I would make more transparent.
Great job, testing now!
Thanks man! Looks really good on Go Launcher with ICS theme. Running perfect on Viper.
Edit: also have widget locker running with ICS lockscreen. Almost like it better than real ICS running on my Evo4G.
Great job...keep it up! Not to hijack the thread but I can't believe no one has attempted a rom like this while we wait for official ICS http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1375160
thank you so much been looking for something like this!

You have to open a copy of your framework-res and change out the icons you want ( make sure their the correct size and name)then close it back up and either push the apk or make a flashable zip to install it or you can go to uot kitchen and pick from the icons they have( for that you need a copy of your systemui.apk,framework-res.apk and com.HTC.resource.apk)
now the voices are customized in 3d
Thanks for your help... But can you provide me with a link please? I need to read about it lol

http://uot.dakra.lt/
battery (on sense 3.0+ roms) is in framework-res.apk
all the other icons are in SystemUi.apk
you can edit them with gimp photo editor
you can use 7zip to extract them out to edit, and 7zip to put them back into your apks.
Go to the theme intro link in my sig and read about it, feel free to ask questions too.
there are tons of ways, the simplest by far is the Universal Online Theme Kitchen, UNLESS you are aiming to simply use someone elses theme.
