I'm cominf from a NAND Android Rom and I want to try yours now. I've MAGLDR on my PC (Se7en). Launching USB Flasher and DWI.exe, but I've got a problem.
DFT Tool doesn't recognize my USB connection...
(see picture attached)
Trying to come back on Android, it works. It's so strange. Have you an idea ?

did u try disabling enforce unsigned drivers on windows bootup? Say press F8 before booting Windows and go to boot menu. There choose disable signed driver enforcement or some similar nonsense. Then boot up, DWI should recognise ur device. This worked for me. Hope it does for u. Good luck.

I'm running Windows Seven on my computer. I'll try to flash back on a WM6.5 ROM and do the MAGDLR again. It may be an issue with Android NAND...

Based on DaGs Kitchen, this ROM is intended to be a HTC base ROM for Touch Pro, installing automatically upon Initial Customization finishing my favorite cabs. The files were split up due to a size limitation on the uploading server. To open it just download them to the same place and unzip them both at the same time.

Read the first post, there are some problems with the camera in this build (21202).

5. how to stop active sync auto run?
- all other rom and stock rom, hide this auto run in the background
- so its will affect the battery performance,
- our chef !aman! deliberately configured Task manager to show it running so that we can kill it

4. close the active sync using taskbar
5. soft reset using software like advanced config/etc

6. Upgrade using SD method:
- format the SD card using PC with FAT32
- rename the RUU.nbh file to TOPAIMG.nbh
- place the file on SD card root
- turn off your phone
- while pressing volume down, turn on your phone
- in bootloader mode wait for a second
- it will show the choice -> press power button to flash the rom
- wait until it say "success"
- restart your phone => done

8. in TESS opera takes a little longer to load (around 2 sec)
- thats because by default opera keeps running in the background which means it always stays in the RAM.
- due to this it loads instantly but also eats resources, the chef just disabled it to save resources

- yup, everybody has its own need, so we try to keep everything default (font included)
anyways.... :

Ah! I was waiting for this since I noticed both !Aman! and Blasev got Topazes
Now I´m torn because on one side I love my Elf, and on the other I also want a more powerful phone, and your ROMs are simply great. That´s right! you got a groupie! haha
Even if I switch it will take me some time, so I wish you good luck in this, they have a benchmark thread in this forum, let´s see how Essential scores in it

ahh, the facebook app is part of rhodium I think, it lets you link photos in your contacts to facebook and put their FB pictures in your contacts automatically. (It's integrated in manilla on that phone.)

what about ram usage ? its pretty high on stock rom :-D after one day i would be around 65%, i am currently running xtremes rom, very low ram usage

ram usage is around 50%
i know some other rom usage is around 35%
but i think 50% is enough, we dont mind spending some ram for speed right?

LZX compression will give the device ram boost quite a bit
but it will also effect the speed a little (from what i hear)

i am glad that this rom does not support landscape, because landscape support is the first thing i turn off when flash a rom. landscape for TD2 has no meaning at all.

yeah landscape is mostly useless for non-keyboard devices

load Parted Magic here and burn it with imgburn here
boot with this CD inside you CD-Rom Drive
Connect your SD (in your Phone with the sd mount option in Amon RA) or with a Card Reader with your PC
Format your Compled SD in Fat32
and start create Partitions:
example:
Partition No.1 = xx GB Fat32 (xx = whatever you want)
Partition No.2 = 1 GB EXT2/3/4 (Apps Partition)
Partition No.3 = 200 MB EXT3/4 >> 1/5 Size of Partition No.2 Minimum << ( if it´s EXT2 the D2SD Script will Format it to EXT3 )
Partition No.4 = 128 MB Linux Swap
percental bigger or smaller partitions are possible but not bigger as 2 GB

MIUI loses the app launcher and just adds the apps to the desktop correct? Similar to what the iphone does right?
Downloading it now one question tho on the base MIUI ROM it says Android 3.0 Gingerbread and on yours it doesnt so that mean it doesnt have it Gingerbread elements on it or am i blind and didnt catch it?

I'm actually all with you on this one.
I've been dying to try MIUI for the supposed speed and new UI, but I'm not fond of the gloss and icons. If I love the interface I may have to learn to theme this beast.

Notes: This ROM includes Touch InCall Screen Tweak which turns off screen while calling (placed the device near ears). It worked fine for me but I doubt it will for you as well so if it doesn't, please disable it. To do so, go to Start -> Utilities -> Touch InCall Screen Tweak Config -> Options 'tab' -> Tick Always On -> Save. You can find more settings of the same app over there.

Known Issues :
Issue #1: Startmenu takes some time to open at bootup or first boot.
Reason - Startmenu will be setting up at first launch.
Solution - Please wait until it configs and then you can use your device.
Issue #2: On first boot, there are no buttons in bottom bar except start menu icon in phone canvas aka dialer.
Solution - Make soft reboot, if still persists. Try shutdown and power ON again.
Issue #3: Cannot find button to accept cropping of contact image in HTC Album.
Reason - The HTC Album isn't fully compatible with WM6.5.x
Solution - The buttons are not visible but works. Left soft button is back and right soft button is done/ok.

• This ROM upgrade is only designed for HTC Topaz aka HTC T535x, HTC Touch Diamond2, HTC Pure, O2 XDA Diamond 2, T-Mobile MDA Compact V, and AT&T Pure.

• By flashing this ROM upgrade, your Topaz may not extended or void warranty, so it’s your own risk and responsibilities.
• RUU supports all Windows platforms.
• Before you flash, make sure your Topaz is CID unlocked aka HardSPL. Click here for more info.
• Before you flash, make sure your Topaz has at least 50% battery power.
• Before you flash, make sure you have taken backup of all your important data(s) on your Topaz including contacts, tasks, messages, emails and etc.
• Before you flash, make sure you have disabled screen saver, power saving and the like on your PC.
• Before you flash, make sure your PC has battery backup provided for safety propose. At least for 15 mins.
• Before you flash, close all the running softwares on your PC. Soft reboot the PC is recommended before flashing.
• While flashing, DO NOT start another process.
• While flashing, DO NOT minimize the RUU window. Let it stay in the foreground.
• While flashing, DO NOT interact or use your Topaz, unless instructed to do so.
• While flashing, DO NOT remove the USB sync cable from PDA, unless instructed to do so.
• First boot UC and XDA_UC_NET is already supported in all the ROM upgrades. Please check next page more info.
• After flashing and booting successfully, make a soft reboot. Hard reboot is recommended.
• On the first boot, start menu may take some time to open. Please give it some time before to start using your Topaz. It should be fine on 2nd boot and so on.
• This ROM upgrade doesn’t include radio aka GSM, IPL, SPL or etc. except OS and splash screen.

The ROM consists of two UC options. One is automated installation on first boot after flashing which works from file called "SDConfig.txt" in the root directory of your storage card. Click here for more info. Second is XDA_UC_NET which works by running the app manually. Quick Start guide about XDA_UC_NET :
1. Create following folders on your storage card
• XDA_UC
• XDA_UC\Manual
• XDA_UC\Copy2Root
• XDA_UC\Run
• XDA_UC\Execute
“XDA_UC” is a place for all .cab, .reg, .mscr, .cer files that should be automatically installed to device.
“Manual” is a place for all cab files you want install in usual "visible" mode with all questions.
“Copy2Root” is a place for all files and folders that should be automatically copied to device.
“Run” is a place for you self-extracting archives.
“Execute” is a place for you self-extracting archives if you want to continue customization while them working.
2. Run XDA_UC_NET and press customize button*.
*Make sure XDA_UC in Storage Card is selected as XDA_UC folder before you run the customizations.

What about the Mango-bugs?? Are they still there or are they fixed?
Also if phone button is now call history (great), can the camera still be launched when phone button is held down?
