can any body tell me how to get my old(1.6) lock screen back
i din't liked 2.1 lock screen... its not good looking and its more difficult to unlock it so please some body let me know is there any way to get old lock screen back..
or suggest any app which looks like 1.6 lock screen

Lock bot pro will not slow down my cell like launcher pro did...???
And ppl I wrote it that I dont like its looks and feel...
And its a personal choice...

I bought the mini for my girlfriend and after playing around with it for a while, i have to say im pretty impressed with what that mini thing can do. It packs a hell of a punch for such a small device!

Its faster because its has a way smaller screen resolution. If x10 would have a resolution like that, it wouldnt lose in terms of speed, actually i think it would be even faster..

I have bought the x10 mini for my girl friend. She did not like the default launcher (used to my nexus one) but after installing ADW Launcher and ChompSMS she is VERY happy. It is really a powerful phone in a small package. It needs Android 2.1 though. Can't wait for that to happen.
It's not a womans phone - it's a phone for people who have no need to compensate for anything.

With ADW Launcher my Battery survived only one day. Now, with helix its two or three days.
I was wondering how does helix help to reduce the battery usage?

Try ADW Launcher EX (paid), LauncherPro Plus (paid) or Go Launcher EX (free). They all have smooth transitions between the screens, very fluid. You can customize the speed and type of transition animation as well.
Don't use Live Wallpapers,sometimes they may cause some lag.
If you're still not satisfied, wait until custom kernels are out and you can try these transitions without any FPS limitation

Once the new custom kernels are released with the FPS cap removed, screen transitions and other animations will be as smooth or even smoother than the iPhone's. I suggest waiting, jerpelea is working hard his own, as well as zdzihu.

sure?? i use LP (paid) for about 6 months now, never saw that option. you know he's talking about the transition from portrait to landscape?

Not that its much help now, but android 1.5 devices where capable of doing this with the help of the spare parts app. This feature has since been removed though. I would speculate that the version of android for smart phones that comes after gingerbread might have it natively being as it occurs in honeycomb running tablets as far as I'm aware.

Yeah probably the best way is to use a 3rd party launcher and if it doesn't support it (like ADW EX which I use) ask the dev to impliment it.

Launcher pro plus. If i understand what your looking for. You can choose differant transitions. Cube, flip, rotate, ....and 2 others i cant remember the names.

Again, he's not talking about transitions between the different homescreens, he talks about the transition from portrait to landscape mode (if you TURN your phone to one side).
And neither ADW Ex nor LPP animate this.

So he's referring to the whirl effect that iPhone does when you turn it sideways vs just a quick change of direction that the android does? That I haven't seen... yet anyway.

Now that you mentioned that the default lockscreen is to move the whole picture(which I prefer).
Is it possible to add widgets to the lockscreen and still keep that lockscreen option?( moving the picture)

Non - Rooted phones = No rights on update/modify system files..which won't be possible unless someone makes a rom out of it..people prefer their roms to be rooted..
Anyone able to get the stock TW lockscreen in CM7 yet?
It was really about the only thing I liked in TW and I rooted the phone the night I got it, but I've been thinking I'd like to try and run the stock lockscreen from TW if possible.
So if anyone is able to pull it for me I'd really appreciate it!

You can install Lockbot, but only Lockbot pro version supports samsung lockscreen..

There is a Windows 8 launcher for Android and that came with a locker. Try this it has a great locker with it u will definitely love that yaar personally I also used that one.
