Hi there I'm running Bionix with all the updates and just recently began receiving periodic SyncML DM failure notifications. I haven't changed any setting and haven't downloaded any apps. I am just wondering if anybody else has experienced this, what it means, will it iron itself out, just in general what's the skinny. Thanks in advance I appreciate it.
Update: not sure what caused it but two reboots solved it so far. I'm still not sure what would cause it and will try to reproduce it. If anybody gas any info I would appreciate it.

SyncML DM
I'm on Bionix V and mine started this AM. I must have closed the message 10x already. What is it? How can I stop it?
Happens on mine too, running nero v3.

also getting this on Bionix 1.2.1, started about 30 mins ago, rebooted, now I'm getting a message in the notification bar saying "Device Management, Connecting to DM server..."
Use titanium backup pro and freeze the Device Manager 2.0 process. Its for ota updates, which you will want to stay away from if you're using bionix and voodoo.

Ok so my Fascinate is obviously rooted and I have the Frost theme on here and that's all I've done. I had SetCPU on here running the minimal setting recommend. I decided to take SetCPU off and when I did my screen shut off but the bottom buttons would still light up. I pulled the battery a few times and that seemed to fix it... or so I thought.
Every now and then the screen will randomly black out or the media scanner thing will be running in the notification bar, once I pull the battery it seems to fix it. I'm kinda lost on what to do, any ideas guys?

Do you have a backup made? What kernal do you have installed. If its an overclpcked one flash the stock kernal. Then go from there.

Weren't you the one that posted the "How to fix SETCPU death" thread? You posted pretty much the same thing and said you had fixed it??

I was gonna say this too. I thought you mentioned needing to keep it in conservative mode to stop this from happening. Or to boot it up kill the process and try uninstalling it that way. It makes sense that you couldnt uninstall something like that while it is running without some issues.
i have the same problem and have no set cpu installed i had jt's kernal and set cpu but flashed the stalk kernal through odin back on and deleted set cpu any would help be great
Ugh I had my first fascinate do this. After much trial and error I decided that it wasn't any certain mod. It was just the phone its self. If its doing this I would recommended taking it back. Use Odin to flash back to stock. Hide the superuser app. Get a new phone while in ur 30 days and start all ovwr

Ya I was the one that posted it. It fixed it but then last night it started all over again :-( I went through Rom manger and fixed permissions. Will see what happens

For some reason, sometimes when i go to send a textmessage if i have sent a picture message to someone the picture will start popping up in everyones textmessages untill i restart the phone. Anyone know why??
running bionix 1.3.1
I haven't come across this problem, sorry! & I'm running bionix 1.3.1 as well! Maybe you just need a fresh install of the rom again! I'm sure that was your backup plan anyway if you didn't get a simpler fix from here!

I'm using Das BAMF 2.0-4.01 (GB ROM) and when I send texts the time is right (Central time zone); however, when I receive them, it's an hour ahead (Eastern time zone). I was wondering if anyone else was getting this issue and what I could do to fix it. Thanks!
im using handcent and times are correct for me
I downloaded Handcent to see if that would help...it didn't. Now it just shows that my texts also get sent an hour ahead of time. Maybe I should just accept the fact that I'm a time traveler, like Doctor Who.
im having the same problem also... :/ cant figure out how to fix either

+1... Keep in mind it fixes future texts after installed
Make a back up of your ROM, get system app remover or something that removes system apps and delete mms.apk and install go sms from the market

is anyone else having problems with navigation force closing then making the phone haptic feedback constantly with the newest update?
I had to uninstall and reinstall from an older backup.. This has happened with both my fascinates on miui and on pool party

No I'm good here

Yea.. Always starts when i enter a address. It goes to load screen, takes a long time there. Then force closes, then get a continual hepatic, feedback that makes you reboot phone to stop.

ive had nonstop maps issues on eh09, ei20, and eh03, doesnt seem to matter
I've had the same issue. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Maps to see if that helps. So far no other issues, but it's only been a little bit of time. Anyone else? I'm currently on EH03 debloated (courtesy of nitsuj17 I might add).

For me it started with their update that spilt maps into specific versions based on you're phones screen resolution

I have been having this problem for the last month. The only thing that sometimes fixes it is the hold power 30 sec/pull battery then launch maps first.
I have had this issue also. I noticed that clearing the data or cache before using navigation will prevent it from happening.

I had this problem as well. After I reinstall it hasn't occurred again. Hopefully it'll stay that way
cm7 w/ glitch v13
oc 1.4 ghz undervolt -100
Okay nvm, happened again. Though it seems to only want to do it when it's connected to my car dock.
I have also had this same issue. Everything else on my phone is working fine but Google Nav, Waze, or Sygic all crash with a force close error when trying to launch. Reinstalling the apps doesn't work for me.
I haven't tried Wiping data....It might work but I'd really hate to start over again.
Does anyone have an old version of maps I can install that doesn't have this problem? I've been trying to start up maps first before navigation, but I still get the haptic feedback crash from time to time.
Had to replace Pandora with an older version to keep songs from skipping.
Which version of Pandora did you go back to get the songs to stop skipping? Been having this problem myself. Is it possible for you to post the .apk?
Honestly, I was so fed up with Pandora being nonfunctional, I just grabbed the themed unlocked apk floating around here. The version is 1.3 and I haven't had any of the problems since.

I'll try to figure out how to link it to you on a pm.. It will be a couple days before I'm back to my computer. Or if your comfortable giving a email in pm I'll send it with titanium backup to you.

Thanks, would you be able to upload to a file sharing site? From the topic, it looks like I'm not the only one whose been having these problems
In case anyone else needs older versions of apps, check out http://www.freewarelovers.com/android/app/
Maps 5.8.0 seems working for me. Hasn't crashed yet.
On second rom with this happening. Not sure what to check. If I place a call from my favorites in the contacts when I end the call to hang up it vibrates and force closes. Its never done this before and just started recently. I've tried Odin and reflashing and tried different Roms. Help if you can thanks

Tried multiple dialertab.apks last night, none worked all fc except one. I found a crazy8 gingerbread theme that included a dialertab, pushed that and it works perfect with no fcs. It's ok as a workaround for now, but I would like to know how to get the normal dialertab.apk working if anyone can help. Thanks.
Fixed. Odin repartition
