[Q] Overwrite SuperIO with Voodoo?

I had to disable Voodoo in order to flash Eugene's Ginger Clone. Now I would like it back. Which zip file do I need and do I just need to flash it with CWM? And is it going to overwrite SuperIO?

Just flash it with CWM, I did and it worked like a charm. Yes it will overwrite SuperIO.
Can someone post the appropriate zip file I need? I was getting confused by all the choices of Voodoo for different kernels.

It is possible. Unzip. Mod some things. Zip it back. Sign it and flash!

Of course you can, but it is dangerous to modify firmware files cuz you do it wrong you might end up in a brick.

How can I change my boot animation

I run the stock rom that came with my phone rooted and with the siyah kernel and jkay framework, but I can seem to change my boot animation. It has the .qmg files is it the kernel or the rom which dictates wat file is used for the boot animation. My animation atm is my carriers boot.

On a stock rom, replace the existing .qmg with your .qmg.

Go to Themes and Apps and learn about bootaimation .
Its not as simple as just changing QMG files .
Most custom bootanimations are not QMG and need compatible rom .
jje
Search in xda..."bootanimation4u"

Yes, you can flash zip files in Safestrap Recovery. As always, create a nandroid backup FIRST as it's always possible that what you're trying to flash isn't compatible and will cause you to bootloop or not boot at all.
