Hi Blackvibes,
The GUI has nothing to do with the X10 firmaware. It is the flash tool that we use to flash whatever firmeware you want from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=825201
GUI stands for Graphical User Interface. This is a new version of the flash tool that Bin4ry has developed. The older version uses the DOS command.

Flashtool can be downloaded on the Flashtool Homepage (on Installation tab)
As Flashtool was originally developped for X10, you can find a lot of information on the Original X10 Flashtool thread
Major update for 0.6.8.0 : Ability to now install CWM from Flashtool on locked bootloader for LT15/LT18.
Fastboot now works fine under linux
Major new feature :
- Fastboot toolbox for 2011 line devices.
- BL Unlock for X10 Mini/PRo and X8

I used it for flashing minicm7
It worked flawlessly using the native JRE (openjdk) instead of the one supplied in the tar.

The linux version is not as stable as windows one.
Sometimes, for a reason I don't know yet, flashing aborts.
You can flash and it aborts, then reflash and it works. Weird.

I flash my phone repeatedly use this fw never brick.I use this FW without unlock bootloader or use any custom kernel.

CMIIW!!I use custom kernel when ics release for XMP.before i never use!because i like stock rom from official and mod like this,and not use any custom rom for my phone.and now i can't tell you where best custom kernel because i don't know.but now i use MiniCMSandwich Lite kernel!and use this custom rom and i think awesome,sorry i am noob!

Shouls be under the programs folder, in a folder called blob_fs or something along those lines.
@jamesweid, thank you so much for this, i unlocked my bootloader before using pc companion (i just got my xmp yesterday, should have done a bit of reading before haha but all good. So yeah thanks.

As you said, this one is created from SUS, so it's mean for indonesian region update.
My SI is 1249-0743 but I flashed my sk17i via flashtool with ftf SI 1249-7380 (which is US region i guess), Mostly everything works fine except the notif led. No light when there's incoming message. Is it one of a bug on this ICS update and/or it'll be ok if i flash using yours?

I bricked too, maybe anyway on flashtool i got an error and flashing aborted. Flashing twice stil the same. Turn off the AV, flash again, and it's works.

I dunno why, sebelumnya sinyal im3 timbul tenggelam Mgkin karena diflash pake region yg beda, aku ga ngerti tapi it seems signal receiving got better with this.

This bug is present on all xperia 4.0.4 roms (stock included) it will be fixed in the future.
Use the sony pc companion and flashtool to create the flashable ftf file

there is no need to unlocking the boot loader to flash this room.
just simply use the flash tool and enter the flashmode to flash.

I have noticed that all the regions info are in the one update, is it just for reference, anyway all the region data is in there if condi (or someone who can look after AIO while he is away) could add this to the region change it would be awesome.
Also as rumor has it Sony Tablet S WILL NOT be getting the Jelly Bean update, was hoping we could get the Xperia one to work with the older Tab.

It can not be flashed. You will need to use the original file. The decrypted file is for devs to look at the files and come up with mods, root custom roms etc.

Sorry I can no longer decrypt. I have installed R5 on original Tab so this function (for now) is no longer available to me. Anyone with an original tab non R5 can do this for you using AIO...
