Just received word that they ARE being produced for us. Rumor is that they should be done in about 10 days. If they in fact are, I would assume i'll have them available just a few days afterwards.

Just hope it works. Every BT keyboard I have tried just simply won't work "right". Annoying.

The word as of this morning is that the 1st sample is being finished. I am supposed to be receiving pics withing 24 hours and that sample is to be shipped to me for a review and to share
Great, I eagerly await the results!
I could really have used it this evening: went to a talk at a local Google campus taking my g-tab with me and had to improvise with my USB keyboard and a regular faux-leather folder so I could take notes.
I was actually envious of a couple of iPad users with their smart-looking folio cases and that's just wrong on so many levels.
** Edit: Apparently my g-tab was envious too: it went into an android.process.acore hissy fit after I got home.
Nice, I am interested in the keyboard/case combo too. Can't wait to hear about the quality.

Thanks for the update, Steve. Any idea on an approx. price? A BT keyboard is a nice to have for me, so the price difference will likely make the difference between whether I get a usb one or the BT one.

Yeah, I thought the same thing until I tried to plug a USB thumb drive into my tablet with a USB keyboard connected to work on some documents. Doh!

I emailed the guy at egadgetsdepot.com and he says they are in stock ready to ship out. I'm ordering 3 right now for overnight shipping to arrive here by Tuesday. I'll let you guys know.
Well, he's probably out of stock now, then. I ordered one at 08:14pm, and if ltxda, just ordered 3 (I think with something this hot, it should be 1/customer) that takes up the 4 he had left that he communicated to me exactly 55 minutes ago.

I'm very impressed with Stan over at E-gadget Depot. He already sent me the UPS tracking number to ship on Monday with Next Day Air. Too bad my UPS guy always comes in the evening At least I'll finally have it on Tuesday. It seems like I've been waiting forever! I'll let you all know when it shows up.

I got my Advantage/x7500. Came in on Tuesday like Stan promised. They are great at EGadgetDepot.com.
I already have TomTom working on it with a bunch of other software. Only warning I can tell you is DO NOT install the GPRS Monitor that comes on the utility CD. It kept locking up my device.
I'm looking for some desktop enhancements but can't find the post. Anyone can direct me to it?
Also, someone wanted some graphics off of this thing. If you tell me which one you want and how to get it I'll gladly post it up for you.
One more thing...Since I'm in the US and use TMobile, I had to change the band on the phone for it to work. In case anyone runs into this. I initially thought it was my SIM but it was just the band setting.

I don't see any problems with the build quality. I keep wanting to wash my hands because the black glossy keeps picking up my finger prints.

when you say desktop enhancement, what do you mean? please explain a bit more what you want so the rest of us and help you out. btw, welcome to the Athena Family.
As for the black glossy finish, it's one of the thing which makes me think the silver one is better, it just way too easy to get your finger prints on, but at least for silver one, it not visible. Well i guess that is the price you have to pay if you want the sexy black look, just like lots of mobile out here, easy to get finger print one, but people still love it. Just Advantage is quite big, so more easy to get finger prints on and easier for people to see it as well.

I saw a post a while back that had software which allowed you to change the look of the desktop. The "Start" menu looked more like the WinXP Start menu and it allowed you to make the Today screen look MUCH MUCH better. I'm still searching because it was within one of the forums on this site. Annoying when I can't find what I'm looking for.

There are lots of software out there which makes your Today screen looks nice, for changing the start bar: use Wisbar Advance, for today screen, use iLauncher or SPB Pocket Plus, and Pocket Breeze.

Hey all just to let you know I have been talking with the folks at Tuff-Luv and thy are making a Tri-Axis Transformer case, they expect to have it ready in 4-6 weeks with pre-order available in two weeks. I have a Tuff-Luv case for my Archos and it's great so really looking forward to this.

You might get lucky though if they have a small stock..
Just looked at the interface and recognised it...
Its linked back to Dabs.com. BT don't sell them directly, they come via a partnet program at Dabs.
That said, they also don't have the keyboards in stock, and are only dies stock of the tablets themselves in a week or so.
Its does give us a hint at the expected price though... £100 is a lot!!

Well i guess this is still good for anyone thinking about getting a Transformer Prime, $50 back in your pocket if you manage to get hold of one when its released and record me a review(later in the month i thought it was for UK but it seems for US too, or i could be completely wrong.)

I hope to find a willing participant over the next few weeks in time for release.
as soon as i can get it in my grubby little hands, i can put something together for you if no one else has already by then.
the only thing is i haven't ordered the dock yet (i'm waiting for it to hit closer to $100 or if i find a deal or something)

After doing every trick in the book in an attempt to fix my charge port I decided to bite the bullet and bought the charge port from ebay user "easytradingco". My symptoms are: random loading/closing of car mode, then for awhile it was doing that with the audio hub as well as intermittent charging and disconnect. It all started randomly when I was charging from my PS3 and has gotten quite a bit more annoying in the past week. I love my Note, so it's worth it to fix it!
I've read quite a few threads on the whole thing and since I purchased my Note on Amazon this is really my only option. I've found one fairly decent video on youtube and figured I will document my process and post a video as well. For someone who has built computers and worked with electronics since the mid 90s, it shouldn't be very hard.
However, any tips from those who have done the R&R of the charge port would be appreciated!

Yeah, my plan is to make a video and written tutorial. It'll take me longer doing it that way, but it will probably help me to slow down as well.
