How do I view Iplayer..... I haven't used my x10 for a long time
Sent from my X10i using Tapatalk
Install one of the froyo roms. Go to market install flash then install the iplayer app or go to the iplayer website
or google and download BEEBPLAYER or an older version of Mplayer both support bbc iplayer without the need of a hacked rom

IPlayer:
www.zshare.net/download/86635880dafb24f4/
That flash download doesn't contain an apk? Once extracted it shows what the apk contents would be. Is it just a case of renaming from zip to apk?
Got the apk with a different extractor. Installs fine. Now iplayer doesnt show the install flash prompt but doesnt start playing video or radio.
The file u gave me does not contain anythink renamed as apk but will not install pairing issues

Surely this wont work as Flash 10.1 does not run on the Wildifre? This app is just a repack of the web version I think (still uses flash)?
If you want iPlayer I recommend the app 'myplayer', it must be the old version/apk as the latest had to remove iplayer for legal reasons. Alternatively you may be able to find an apk for 'beebplayer'. Neither of these run using flash I believe.
i just use beebplayer...

Yes that is correct, it still needs flash, and tbh the website still runs much smoother when playing a program. I hope they update it.

BBC IPLAYER for on Samsung Galaxy 3
Just download the files, put them onto the SD card and install both flash and iplayer app.
Note: if you have 10.1 flash or above you don't need the flash.apk
tested on CM7 and works
same on android 2.3

I don't think it's available from the Play Store now. Accodring to the Adobe web site, "Flash Player will not be certified for any device OS beyond Android 4.0.x. Since it's not certified, I don't think it will be in the Play Store. See http://www.adobe.com/devnet-apps/flashruntimes/certified-devices.html and http://blogs.computerworld.com/android/21122/flash-player-updates-missing-action-android. The Adobe page says it's not suuported for my device when using CM7 and Dolphin Browser.
Maybe try restoring flash app from titanium backup if you have it from stock rooted backup or try flash 11.1.115.17.

cm7 is android 2.3.7 so it should still be there. if not just search online for the flash apk and sideload it.

Adobe removed it from the Play Store for new installs. Aside from downloading it from another source, the only way to get it running is to have it previously installed.
