[Q] Sweet Keyboard sound changes - Vibrant Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Alright, so does anyone remember those older LG phones (I think they were LG) with the full qwerty keyboards, and whenever you texted someone, each letter on the keyboard made a seperate soft little piano note. It was strangely amusing a few years back hearing friends texting on their phones and it almost made a song haha.
I've been looking for any ideas on how to do this, I already understand going under /system/media/audio/ui to change the keypress noise for all keys. but does anyone know of a way to make a seperate little note for each key?
Any ideas are welcome.

bump! I still have no idea!

[Q] [REQ] Optimus One & Skype Loud Speaker

Hi ALL!
It seems we all have a problem with our buggy Optimus One. The problem is that Skype (doesn't matter which version you use) always uses loud speaker and there is no way to switch it to a regular speaker (no matter if you try to click corresponding button). I tried the exact version of Skype (1.0.3) on my friend's Nexus One - works perfect, as it should be. So LG programmers did us dirt again (as with endcall function http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=929801).
So can anyone fix that buggs? Or maybe give an advice where to dig to hunt that buggs?
Thanks for spending time for reading this.

Help: Questions about Voice Talk+my headphones+voice dialing

I checked around here and found no threads that could FULLY answer my questions.
I have a set of Bluetooth headphones that I like to wear while I am biking or walking my dog. I use them to listen to music and to make/answer hands-free calls when necessary. So far, everything seems to be working ok. Whenever I press the Call button on my headphones, my music pauses and the Voice (or whatever that Vlingo-powered app is called) opens and I am able to simply say "Hi Galaxy" and then say "Call Whoever."
Here is my question/problem though:
Whenever I press that Call button on my headphones and that Voice app opens, the screen also turns on! Whenever I am using my headphones, the phone is in my pocket (FYI, I am also weird in that I ALWAYS place the phone in my pocket with the screen facing away from my body) so I cant even see the screen anyways.
Should I be concerned about the screen coming on while in my pocket AND/OR is there a way to keep the screen off when that Voice app opens?
I havent had it happen yet, but I am afraid of my clothing somehow pushing a button on the Voice app and screwing something up! Especially since I am moving my legs and my pants might be rubbing against the phone screen.
I appreciate anyone explaining how I can fix this issue OR someone explaining to me why I dont need to worry.
In case it is needed:
Phone: SGH-I777 AT&T Galaxy S II (rooted, debranded (still AT&T though), running stock 2.3.4 firmware)
Headphones: Sony Ericsson MW600
Music App: Poweramp
Voice App: Default Voice (Powered by Vlingo) app
Oh BTW, if anyone asks about whether the Sony Ericsson MW600 headphones work with this phone: YES, YES THEY DO. Very well in fact!
(I was worried too because after updating my old SE Xperia X10 to 2.3.3, the music, no matter what app used, kept hiccuping every few random seconds! I am SOOOOOO glad they work perfectly on my new phone!!!! )
There's very little chance of anything happening. As you haven't even had it happen to you.
Though for jogging I'd highly recommend and arm band phone holder like one of these:

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using XDA App
I also find this annoying. Screen also turns on when you end the call with the headset. The whole purpose of bluetooth is handsfree so I'm not sure why they designed it like this
glad to hear that there is nothing to worry about regarding accidental button press. still wish the screen wouldn't come on though.
ill look into one of those armbands just because though. it may make things easier when biking. Thanks oh gr8hairy1 (love that name).
EDIT
I ordered one.

Sounds to quiet

I have done research and it appears that Samsung has it set up to ring softly and get louder. Which results in missed calls. Anyone have a way to disable this without keeping an app running all the time?
Also anyway to boost the volume as this phone is the most quiet phone i've ever had and it sucks missing notifications and ringtones. You can't really put a cover over it as it makes it a little bit more quiet and I"m already missing things due to the sound not being as loud as any other previous phone.
Anyone have any fixes? I've searched the net and many people seem to be having issues with it not being loud enough.
If you don't have a fix, but think it's not loud enough chime in so some devs can get it on it maybe?
I hate the volume on Ringtones on this phone too. There is an option in sound settings to make it ring louder in pocket but that's all I've found

There are a few apps on the Google Play store that let you boost sound.
Although I have not tried it - there are a few that seem to have good reviews and solves that problem, or at least makes it slightly more tolerable - hope this helps.
I checked all the ones in the app don't work on the new android OS. This really sucks. No way to boost volume at all it appears without a dev coming up with something. Unless someone else found something?
Assuming you are rooted, this makes everything louder: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2293133
Great find. Thank you.
Agree on the weak volume
I need to root my phone apparently because this stock volume BLOWS! I cant say how many calls Ive missed due to not hearing it in my pocket.
If it's just the ascending ringtone (it's quiet for the first 3-4 seconds and ramps up), you can try this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.shumoapp.disableincreasingring. The first post said without apps.

Large speaker button on the on-call screen needed. Can't find any app/theme...

Ive been looking "all over" google and in many forums, including XDA, but I still can't find an app or a theme that has an on-call interface with a LARGE speaker button. I use the speaker quite often, and in many of those times I'm in the car, so a big speaker button woild help me a lot, making things a lot easier for my unaccurate driver thumb.
I've tried the auto-speaker app, which automatically turns the speakers on once you have your phone away from your ear or any surface, but the idea of having the speaker on even when I'm just checking the screen on a call was kind of annoying. I want to still be able to decide whether the speaker should be on or not.
I'm using CM 10.1.2, but i'd flash any newer version of it if needed.
Any advices?
Thanks in advance.

Still no solution.. Anyone?

[Q] Sharing audio during a phone call

I have posted it 2 months ago on "apps and software" and got nothing. So I'm trying again here.
Hello everyone!
What I'm looking to do is really simple, a LOT of people are interested in these feature, however, no one has a clear solution.
There has been a lot of post about this subject but they are most old post and there's nothing help full.
Here is the problem - whenever I'm talking over the phone, I can play any music I like and I can hear it perfectly, but the other side cant hear anything! even if ill let the music play using the phone speaker - the other side is silent (witch is strange cause when the speaker play, the mic should transfer the sound and shouldn't "care" who is making it).
So after a lot of searching for apps and different ways, I found out something interesting.. If I make the call using an VOIP (skype, viber and so on) and Ill play music at the same time - THE OTHER SIDE CAN HEAR IT PERFECTLY!!! witch means the phone is fully capable of doing it.
What is going wrong when I'm using the cellular network instead of VOIP? is there a way around it?
Ive noticed some people don't get WHY would I want to do it.. well, I'm working using my phone (sales) and using the exact same pitch. I would like to be super lazy and play a recorded version of me, and when its done, be able to just keep talking to the person without him being able to notice the difference.
Since I'm doing it for work, I cant use VOIP for regular calling.
I'm using Nexus 4, chroma rom (lollipop)
ANY help at all will be appreciated
Something to think about..
Since I didn't found any software to do it (yet), I'm experimenting with a different direction.
I currently use a PC headphones with a simple Y adapter from eBay. So I'm thinking "all I need is another microphone. One for the talking, another to sit between speakers that will play the sound for the caller.
I've gone through eBay again, this is a tough one to find cause I need 'audio input' splitter and most splitters are 'audio output'.
If you guys know something about it, please share.
