So in creating any of the Beautiful Widgets clock/ weather widgets it shows a customization for "Battery Skins" under Appearance tab. Does this appear for anyone when you go and dnld a batt skin and apply it? I'm on auto nooter (Froyo), wonder if it might not be supported on NC? Thanks to anyone who knows this issue but has found a way to get battery life to display i'd appreciate the assist.
(Also, i do not see a separate Beautiful Widgets battery widget item when i go to Add Item > Widgets on the Nookie. I'm not sure if its supposed to be a totally separate widget or is supposed to be combined, aka, show battery icon within the clock/ weather widget.)

Any of the Beautiful Super Clock options. At the scrolling part choose clock feature and choose battery instead. Took me some time to figure it out as well. Even though it was so obvious

looking for the htc battery widget but not seeing it ? any one have it
There is one posted in Evo 3D Apps and Themes, but I opted out not to install it. It requests a truckload of permissions to run, and I don't trust a Battery Widget to use services that cost me money, manage my Wimax and so on.
I was wondering the same thing - why isn't the HTC widget included in the "find other widgets" section???

yea its normally on the phone ..
Download the SiMi clock. It is way better than the stupid flip clock PLUS it gives you location aware weather AND a battery meter.
1. Download SiMi
2. Tap/Hold screen to add the 4x1 widget
3. Configure the thing to include the weather (with 1 hour interval) and include the battery indicator.
4. Enjoy
I've been using battery monitor widget.

Is it possible to have too many widgets on a screen? I have no clue what I'm talking about here, but this is what is wrong. I've got my homescreen set up with Desktop Visualizer 1x1 widgets for my Semi Sense icons. There's nine of them, then my Battery Monitor Pro Widget, my aTAKEphONE widget, and then four regular icons to various programs. Every once in awhile one of my icons (not the Desktop Visualizer widget icons), namely the XDA icon, becomes a normal XDA icon, no longer one of my Semi Sense icons. I have to restart LauncherPro to get it to show the normal Semi Sense icon. Now, my aTAKEphONE widget is going blank. This is since the latest update of the program. It's there, but nonfunctional, the only way I can get it back is to go into the widget settings and back out, it shows up again. Probably two different issues, andI'm working with the aTAKEphONE developer, but I'm kinda wondering.....
If you've got this far, this is what I was thinking, that somehow I'm running out of memory on my Samsung Captivate, and things are getting bumped out of display memory - is that at all possible? I'm pretty sure these are two separate issues, the program was updated and something was changed, but the XDA icon changing is an ongoing problem. I appreciate any thoughts, I'm trying to learn here as I futz around.
Of course now that I've called the doctor it's fine but if I can get a screen shot I'll post it here.

Might want to give a diff launcher a shot as it is not unheard of for LP to have issues when one page is loaded with widgets.
Hi I'm running the Hyperdrive rom and would like to get this ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.nurik.roman.dashclock ) lockscreen widget to start open on my phone. Right now it only displays the clock part and I have to pull the little transparent box down to view the notifications. I would rather have the widget be displayed like this

than like this minimized version when i first unlock the phone

Are there any mods or tweaks to accomplish this? thanks

Those last two links don't work. Have you tried WidgetLocker and one of the many UCCW widgets? When I used to use a lock screen that was my set up. WidgetLocker also has a hide notification bar option so it's truly full screen.
Here are some options I found with a clock and dynamic unread message notification:
• Quick Settings
• UCCW Stripes
• Cabona UI
There's tons more.

Thanks for responding, but i'm looking to get this dashclock widget working. I uploaded the screenshots as attatchments so maybe you can get a better idea of what I am talking about. Right now the widget starts minimized and I have to swype down to open it which defeats the purpose of the widget. I think this is a feature of touchwiz, not sure though. I would like to start the widget in a maximized state so I can easily view all of the info it provides. I don't see how I can accomplish this with widgetlocker. Thank you for helping out though.
I get that the developers/designers are only doing themes for specific screen resolutions right now, but why is the core tools for creating custom Themer widgets restricted by large grid settings?
Confused as to what I mean? Please let me explain.
I can create a custom widget, which starts with the background box. But, in order to line the background box up with my home page background, I have to set the color of the background widget to a solid color and then resize it since it doesn't visualize the snap-to grid element (which it does).
So, as I said above, why is this limitation there in the first place? On my Note 2 I can't create a widget that goes to the top of my screen because it is out of bounds of my screen and when I go to add elements to the widget, they don't line up correctly unless I resize the widget background box to snap to below the top of my screen (by a good amount).
So, is it at least possible to have the default grid snap distance greatly reduced or give us an option to set it ourselves in regards to setting the widget itself?
I've encountered zero issue with moving elements within a widget box other than the inability to lock items individually once placed (that would truly help in them designing).
Sorry for any confusion, I'm not aware of the standard labels for the various design elements of a widget or the like.

Hows it going? Im Bill from MCS.
Im a still a bit confused as to what you are asking and what tools it is that you are using in Themer that are giving you the issue.
Im sure you have already made sure that padding is turned OFF in the settings, but I have to say just to be safe.
IF you are getting spaced on the sides or top or your widget, you might want to check to see if you are using odd numbers for the Grid (rows and columns). Because of the way custom build widgets from WYSIWYG editors like Zooper and Everything widget render on the screen you might be a 1px gap if you are using odd numbered Rows or Columns in your grid.
This is the first thing I would check. I have seen an issue where for some reason I get a 2 or 4px padding on the top and bottom of the widgets. It only happens to me now and again. I can usually delete the widget and re-add it to get rid of the issue.
On my old (now dead) S3 I used to run this widget https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sanels.tempcpuv2&hl=en
however, since the S5 runs on 4.4.+ this widget doesn't work anymore.
Does anyone know of any good replacement widgets? Preferably one that is also a 1x1 widget.
I haven't seen any other apps that display all three datums in a 1x1 icon. But an extended search may locate such an app. Ten quality minutes with Google should answer that. For that matter, you may wish to contact the author of your old app and see if he will update it to work with your current phone?
Alternatives? Elixir widgets is very good. Certainly a 1x1 widget for any one parameter. I'm just not aware of the app being able to put three items into a 1x1 widget. Personally, I like to have these items in the status bar. And to that end have two icons display these three items. An xposed module to display the CPU temperature. And the Cool tool app to display processor load /RAM as a second icon.

Having it on the status bar is perfect! Great suggestion, thanks!
