[REQ] Red Samsung mms.apk - Vibrant Themes and Apps

just putting the final touches to my personal theme, and am currently looking for something like "dark themed mms", but with red speech bubbles....
here's the original: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=938465
i've tried modding it myself, but always get the stretched speech bubble when changing the color.
i've also looked inside these red themes on this forum, but all their mms.apks seem to be for stock android mms.apk.
thanks to anyone who could make this happen.

how to remove blue text?

Hello I was wondering how to remove blue sub text from my mms.apk. I using gingerbread theme but using the mms.apk from VA green theme because I like how it looks although I have blue sub text. Anyone know how I can change this from blue to either green or gray? Its just the text in the main menu of VA green mms.

could be 2 things...1 decompile a stock mms.apk and switch all the bluish aarrggbb colors in colors.xml in res/values to white
some of it is called on in twframework-res.apk colors.xml as well
i know older versions of gb theme (read ones ive released) didnt get to all the colors (ive since fixed)....so could be my theme or the themed mms ur using
Weirdest thing. I flashed clearpulldownblk from your gingerbread theme and it made my text white!!

{Q} Dark colored MMS's?

Running Trigger 3.0.1, are there any dark themed MMS's? I really can't stand the default blue and yellow it's so yikes.

Hey jw, if you find the "clean tangerine" theme thread there is a ginger mms.zip. It has dark grey bubbles with either a green or orange outline, very cool. Sorry I can't post link, but its there probably 4 or 5 pages back. I grabbed it the other day. For some reason I can't upload screen shot, but trust me it's good.

It's actually the third choice in Tweaker which is the first link in that post above. I made that one from bubbles borrowed from MikeyMike01, (the cappy mms it came with fc'd on the Vibrant of course. I think what he is really looking for is the one by kcp877, the second link in that post.

Brainstorm thread. Monochrome+ ICS Theme

So I'm brainstorming what to do with a theme I am creating, it will have Leedroid tweaks, and mainly black and white theme and some accents, debating red, blue, green, purple maybe pink. Any visual suggestions, ideas, icon pack ideas are welcome. Check out my other work in suprarom2 and supramod to get an Idea

I think it would be really neat to have a B&W theme with either ICS blue highlights or red highlights.
Mostly everything would be B&W, and small things like the clock, some buttons, overscroll glow, etc. would be red or blue.
I would use it if it were a well done theme, which I expect from you.

+1 on red. Maybe theme the ics keyboard red too.

Blue. Its such a nice color. Good job on the rom as well.
#Root-Hack\Mod*Always_
""Shooter on Deck""
alright, so i'll have gray, and make either red/blue accents (maybe both). Any ideas as for icons, specifically the QuickSettings ones?

I know this is probably overdone but I am quite fond of the stock ics icons, if anyone has ideas go ahead and throw them out there since I know ics is overdone alot lol

I feel the quicksettings need a simpler look than that.

Sir the simpler the better, I hate hate flamboyant icons for quick settings, this theme would be awesome with just minimalistic icons in the Grey and red/blue accents

i really like the color and layout of ICS. i am a fan of the baby blue colors in the status bar and such. as far as other "theming" i am a huge fan of the transitions found in virus' eternity ROMs... like in 1.4.2
i would keep the quick settings pretty simple if it were my decision, but hey man if you really wanna get in it, why not just make it completely stock and make theme flashables? or go with one theme and make a stock flashable and other theme to go along with it.

[Request] black text white background cm7 email

Is there any way to get black text with white background for the email apk in cm7? I find the white on black difficult to read. Thanks in advance!

Has this ever been answered? I new to CM7 and its great but can't stand all the black backgrounds, especially in email. If you're in any sunlight at all you can hardly see anything. I've looked and looked for answers. I am about 1,000% sure the answer is not "change the theme" because i've tried TONS of themes and NONE of them change the corporate email background.
Use this if you need white background.

[REQ-THEME] Holo Light UI

Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone knows of a theme that keeps the stock look but goes with a Holo Light theme instead of the Holo Dark which Google just can't seem to shake.
Holo Light vs Holo Dark example
It would theme things like the Settings menu (which still has the dark theme) to look more consistent with where Google seem to be taking the colour scheme (Dialer, contacts, hangouts etc)
It would also be a bonus if some of the Holo Blue (#33b5e5) was replaced with KitKat White (#bebebe) to get rid of other inconsistencies, such as the volume bars, settings toggles (WiFi/BT).
I found this theme but the #33b5e5 just looks so out of place in KitKat..
Alternatively if anyone knows of another way to achieve this it would be good to know.
Thanks for reading!

I know it doesn't fit the bill exactly, but I love Thyrus work and the attention to details. Maybe this interests you still:

You can always check on the G+ group for development. That's where the testers hangout haha, so maybe it's just a bug (or soon to be done).
