Yes it is already pre-installed. Look for Talk in the application launcher.
There's no GTALK on Motorola Atrix for TELCEL Mexico, they always remove gtalk on their phones,
Is there any way to install it?,
I got the talk.apk, TalkProvider.apk, gtalkservice.apk from 2.1 but they won't install
Can you help please?
Thanks in advance

there's not really a Canadian sbf, there's an Aussie sbf and a French sbf that are compatible with many devices that aren't AT&T, if you read this it may help, i'm not sure if you bought a device, unlocked it for that provider or what, so if your device has any of the version numbers mentioned in the first post you should be good to go.
or if you just wanna post your build version (should be starting with some characters like "OLYLA" then some numbers) in this thread i can probably tell you if the sbf in the thread i linked you to will work for you
You could try a market enabler app to trick the market into thinking you're with a different carrier.

Are you talking about Google Talk or Google Voice?
Google Talk is part of the OS whereas Google Voice is an addon app.

Same thing with my carrier in Brazil. Get the talk.apk for the 2.2 and install it directly. It worked for me.

Just make sure Talk.apk is in the system/apps folder and with the correct permissions. You should be good to go.

It's an app for TD Canada Trust, a large bank here in Canada. Absolutely no use to anyone who does not have an account with them. Good app though, could be improved quite a bit, but I use it!
Thanks for posting I looked for a TD app before rooting and never could find one.
I couldn't find it either after root, but just run bin4ry's market fix, and it shows up...I don't feel like looking for it, but its somewhere on these forums.

I still couldnt find it after doing the market fix hence posted it here.
td bank .apk
Any chance that you can make that link available again? Trying to find the .apk file for the TD bank app. Thanks!!
td bank (Canada) apk
Yes, please! Can you make the APK link available again? It's a difficult one to find w/o a device that can be properly rooted.
Thanks
Strange, I've been rooted stock and many different ROMs, the TD app in all it's glory (okay, maybe not glory) is always available to me. Sounds like a market version issue (region perhaps).

That's exactly the reason I can't locate it, my wife has a Chinese (dropad) and the firmware version she likes won't root at all so I'be been installing all the apps I can't get on market manually. This is the only one I haven't been able to obtain.
clicked the TD Canada trust mobile link, https://www.tdcanadatrust.com/products-services/banking/electronic-banking/mobile/mobile-index.jsp

My fiance just got the xperia x10 through ATT. There is no setting to allow her to install any apps other than market apps. I have read pages and pages of crap here on how to root which seems to be the only way to do it however the one click root apk will not install because its a non market app. WTF?
Bottom line is she just wants to be able to install non market apps right now. What is going to be the easiest way to do this? Thanks for your help. I know how much people hate repeat questions, but I cant find what I need after an hour or looking.

I tried to get the APK for you, but it seems like Market Enabler doesn't work if you already have the new Android Market.
You can try it yourself if you have the old Android Market. Go to the Market, look for Market Enabler und fake any UK or Ireland provider.
there you go,just downloaded str8 from market and backed up with mybackup pro.
Hi
Thanks Guy's but i need something different of this app. In Amazon.com you have a part like android market and you can get application or buy them.. that's i mean

Try this Fix Permissions app.
caught me slipping there forgot to ask if he had restored a backup from Titanium or something, if so you can also fix permissions with root tools, recovery (i think) or using the app recommended by Wired.
no thers no titanium in game .... might be cuz im in Slovenia, but that shouldnt be a problem with market enabler than ... thanks for the help tho. uhm for instance i cant install this app:

I want that app too!! No, you wont be able to install Google Body on anything that doesnt run Honeycomb. Right now only a few tablets have HC. When Ice Cream Samach comes out it will be available on both phones and tablets; merging Gingerbread and Honeycomb. Your on Froyo. F G H I
Edit: what you need to do is sign in when your browsing the market through a browser. It will then let you know if the app is available on your device. THEN you will be able to download apps through the browser (if they "work" on your phone).

Hi All,
Google Maps already installed on my SGS2 as you know but when I want to navigate, it says navigation not available for my country>>>saudi arabia...
What can I do to have navigation for my country? I searched this forum but didn't get anything or for some other smartphones.
I shall be thankful for help.

Just download and install the apk, you don't need root...
This doesn't unlock your original Maps but installs a different modified one that supports world wide navigation, so if you've got root you might wanna freeze the original Maps along with Navigation, Latitude and Places and install the apk with the modified ones.

Thanks a million hank00k for your reply.
I tried that apk but failed to install over the previous version. There is no method I found in that thread on how to install in un rooted devices?
Well I don't exactly remember which post I downloaded mine from but I guess there's a different version for non root users.
Here's the apk I use, give it a try

does anyone know why navigation is not available in most countries?
I mean, I used the method posted here, and it works great in my country, why is that I can't do it 'officially' and have to resort to a hack to do it?
do you know the reason?
