Hello all,
Just wondering if anyone had bought any sony ericcson bluetooth stereo headphones recently, which were they and are they good?
Cheers Ben.
Bought some knock off Nokia BH-503 for less than $20 on ebay. THey work. A little static but all the bottons work well. Pretty comfortable. But I think it makes me look fat.
Plently of cheap ones you can try on ebay.
I've got a pair of Sony DR-BT21G stereo bluetooth headphones and I'm really impressed by them.
I've previously used Nokia and Samsung bt headphones.
Pros:
- Best sound I've heard
- Comfortable
- Thin, so they don't stick out much
- They look like good quality headphones
- Reliable, they reconnect quickly and consistently
- Battery life is incredible. I think last time I charged them was in 2010.
Cons:
- Will cut out sometimes if a bag or something is put in between your phone and headphones. Not as bad as some (Samsung!). Fine if your phone is in your pocket.
- The foam is very thin and over time mine fell off in my bag, so now there's no foam.
- Bass is clean and clear but not rich and full like normal headphones
- Some slight static in quiet songs at higher volumes
Sony Ericsson HBH IS800 are a very good option. Although you don't get volume controls with then but they are light weight and also the smallest one available.

Ok i have custom 2.2 firmware installed, don't know if bluetooth is the issue there....but if someone confirms mw600 works flawlessly...then m ordering it..

I'm using Jabra BT 620s since I had my SE k550i
Worked awsome till I changed my phone to X10i.
Headset never worked well either on Eclair nor Froyo.
Keeps lagging the music even while phone is fully charged in my pocket, not always connects with BT and even if so, I can hear dead air only. No firmware updates released.
Not recommending
MW600 works really well with 1.6, 2.1 and 2.2

Does anyone here use these headphones? I really want to purchase them and the reviews I found by google are pretty good. I just want to get someone elses opinion before I buy them. Thanks.

I bought these off a UK website for about £20! They work great on my Universal running AKU 3.2. I had to implement a few registry tweaks to stop all the skipping, but after all the tweaking, it now works perfectly.
Sound for music is excellent. Volume is loud. The quality appears a little lower for voice conversations, but on my Universal, it transitions seamlessly most of the time from phone to music modes.
Be prepared for all the little problems that might happen, which probably aren't exclusive to these BT stereo headphones. As you probably already know, most BT stereo headphones don't work flawlessly all the time. Mine's been behaving very well 99% of the time though!
Hrmmm...you know anyone who uses these with a Blackberry pearl. My gf has that phone (i know horrible) and she really wants these headphones as well. I just don't know how well blackberry's do with BT headphones and stuff
You could try THEIR forums

These should give you a starting point.
Have a lovely day,
I've used them before and honestly, the sound is okay but NOT GREAT.
Try this combination:
iTech stereo bluetooth + Sony MDREX71 earbuds... You won't regret it...

(taken with the PDA on macro mode)
I have those earphones. They work allmost well.
Everytime I turn bluetooths on I must go to bt settings and activate headphones/headset or they wont work.
Sound quality is poor to my taste. But I hope there is something else to do with registry or stack.
I did that registry trick to bt value 58, but it sounds still like not enought hz. Like old radio or something.
But no wires and almost no skipping. I like it.
does any one have these and the s9 to compare it to them

Did you try pressing the MFB after bluetooth is turned on to initiate the connection?
~I've heard about this Altec Lansing Wireless bluetooth headset (903 and the 906) which looks pretty slick and if anyone is into audio, he would know the quality of altec lansing.
I am just wondering about its compatibility with the blackstone.
If anyone has tested it, could you just let us know ...
or maybe i myself will update this by buyin one very soon as I have great faith in altec lansing.

No idea but it looks real nice. Please let us know how you get on with it...
Standards
There are standards wich a bluetooth headphone has to follow. If this device is calling itself Bluetooth Headset it should support A2DP (For the audio data itself) and AVRCP (for control of the device: Play, Pause, Next etc.). A WinMO Phone is nearly always supporting both of them. (Even my Prophet does in WM 5, 6.1 and 6.5) so the Blackcomb should do so as well. When looking for Bluetooth Hardware check Jabra too....all my Bluetooth audio stuff is by Jabra.
i used to have a JABRA BT8010 - it was 'good', but the quality of the speakers was rather 'thinny', barely any lower frequencies, despite using the inbuilt DSPs equalizing features. not to mention that the ear-holders were rather a pain in the ass and cut into my ears. But as a true geek one takes it like a real techno-phile and lives with it.
The positive thing on the JABRA BT8010 was that it could link up to TWO sources at once. something i miss on the backbeat 903 - why's that important? cos i stream my desktop-PC's music library via bluetooth adapter into my ears while am in/around the house, since my PDA-phones 16gigs microSD can hold roughly about 1-2% of my VAST library of songs ;-)
anyhoo, i bought the BACKBEAT 903 and have to say that the sound quality is by far better. (BT 2.0+EDR and the rest of the music-/player-control protocols). the 903 can get really loud. the in-ear rubber-pieces can be removed but you loose a major portion of sound quality.
advertised is the battery lifetime by 7 hours...I'd guess it's a bit less but havent "timed" it yet.
hope it helps a bit further
@
Altec Lansing Backbeat 906 works great with blackstone, i got one today. bought on ebay. cost me something around 80bugs $. so bluetooth found Altec Lansing Backbeat 906 well, there was no problem at all. music quality is fantastic, even in talk. it takes calls with one touch on left ear, if you press longer it holds call...., every function works with blackstone. sound notification is clear...
just a great earphones.

You can pick up some logitech Pure-Fi mobiles from ebay they are extremely loud and have bluetooth and aux connectivity
Best on market at low price: X-Mini
http://www.amazon.com/X-Mini-Capsul...2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1311115794&sr=1-2
Got them few months ago and can´t be happier Just don't expect much bass from them, remember they're portable and cheap!!
The X-mini line also has a single speaker solution - even lower cost. Amazon carries these worldwide, or if you are in Europe you can also try pixmania.
I personally recommend this http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001UEBN42/ref=mp_s_a_1?qid=1311406581&sr=8-1. I own one and have a second on order. The beauty about these little beasties is the have a headphone jack and socket, meaning in theory you could plug an infinite number of these speakers together for more sound. Each has their own battery and usb charger. I paid £12 or something for mine and couldn't be happier.

Fantastic, portable and cheap.
Bought one and when I heard it bought 2 more (One more for me and one for a friend)
Another vote for the X-Mini from me.
Awesome volume and sound from such a small device. Plus you can daisy chain them together!

I own 3 and use them daisy chained. Infact its surprisingly loud. Il tell you a good tip for them, say your in your bath room lay the speakers across the side of the bath and the bath will actually act as a big bass bin. I works really well and it makes quite a big effect on the sound. Perfect for shaving or wash time!

I would prefer one of these
sony bluetooth headphones HBH-IS800 I really hate cables, even the MW600 I have had for years is better than getting tangled in cables when i'm out and about, nice to be able to take the phone out of your pocket without a cable attached. and now with CM7 the track id on the MW600 actually works!!
on topic now.. Comparing the price for the Sony headphones (Live Sound) to Beats by Dr Dre they are actually really reasonably priced.. I have always hated Sony domestic audio gear but their bud headphones the the one exception, they have always been awesome (I payed about 50 Euro ($100 NZD) for a pair of very basic bud headphones from sony 10 years ago and they still go strong) so you cant go wrong with these if you like wired headphones.. I would like to have seen the option to unplug the headphone bit tho so you could use over the head style with the phone controls if you wanted (like you got with the old SE phones) but you can't have everything with Sony anymore.. its one feature or another.. sigh..

These are the ones that come bundled with the X10, aren't they? I threw them away because they don't fit properly in my ear (they're not in-ear) and were rather uncomfortable.. just like the ones that come with the iPhone/iPod.
I got myself a Skullcandy one, pretty awesome sound quality..and not all that expensive either.

Yeah, I was pretty annoyed tho.. I was expecting in-ear ones... I find earphones like this one extremely uncomfortable to use
they're crap and they constantly fall out of your ears.. I stick to my sennheiser IE8
They don't stick that well ni my eras, but when i twist them a bit, they stay in.
The sound i sreally good! I'm amazed at the bass they produce.
They can withstand xLoud en Beats (custom ROMs).
I also tried the earpieces tha come with the x10 mini pro.
Those ar true in-ear, but they sound horrible. It isn't comparible.
Bass reflex are the best for X10
Bass reflex are the best for X10
better than mw600?
for our x10 i can recommend to all the "Stereo Headset MH650"
they're comfortable and sounds rly nice
