[Q] How to get CID? - 7 Mozart General

I've tried to get CID of my Mozart (as I've got mine from ebay and not sure what market it was destined for) and all I've got so far is:
1. I need to get mtty running (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=623356)
2. I need to execute "task 32" and then "info 2" to get CID.
I went through first step and stuck on the second. once I execute "task 32" mtty on any key press outputs "<CE-1637352>". Also phone does not switch back to Serial if I disconnect USB cable. I'm able to reconnect with mtty only after restarting into bootloader mode again. I tried "info 2" without "task 32" but mtty responds with "Command error !!!". Am I doing smth wrong or is there other way to get CID from device?

bootloader command "info 2":
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_BootLoader
Use mtty.exe to connect, link is on this wiki page too.
MTTY ust says CLIENTCLIENTCLIENT but I cannot type any command.
Any suggestions?
- open mtty.exe
- select USB port on the drop down list
- put your Hermes in bootloader mode (side ok + power + stylus reset)
- connect your hermes to pc using miniUSB cable
- on the tri-color screen "serial" should be changed by "USB"
- click ok on mtty to connect
- hit enter twice, a "USB>" prompt should appear where you should be able to type in bootloader commands (do not copy-paste the commands, type them using the keyboard).
- "info 2" should give you your CID, encapsulated on a "HTCS + CID + 4byte checksum + HTCE"
Thank-you. I get HTCSVODAP001©®±HTCEUSB>.
That means this is your CID: VODAP001
help i cannot get only get cmd> and i follow the guide. how i get the usb>
On new bootloader version USB> has been replaced by Cmd>, but the process is the same.
If you have HardSPL with "info 2" you'll always get "SuperCID", so if you want to check your real CID use "info 4".

How to check CID?

I'm in bootloader mode, and I see USB on screen.
What is boot command "info 2"?
I see nothing that allows me to type this.
I have tried to do this on two computers.
Do I need to have the tytn connected via usb cable? ( I have tried both with and without).
Is there an easier way to find out what my CID is?

I believe you have to start the program MTTY first on you pc. You will be in a commandbox then and there you can type your commands.
Read instructions here:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_BootLoader
You need to disable usb in activesync and run mtty.
Thank you for being an angels (robust, manly angels).
I have now successfully unlocked my tytn and given it a super cid....now I need to choose which ROM to use.
Cingular, HTC, or Imate? Choices choices...
I did look for bootloader but for some reason I missed it in the search.
Thanks again

i try to flash shaps rom but then come the [error 286] after 12%
now i dont know what i can do.
and yea i have install Hard Spl V7
PLS help, yea i have read the WIKI and yea i have search in the forum..
Did you select 'USB' in the Mtty Port drop down and not the 'COM's?
You press Enter key twice and USB> will appear.
I had the same issue, although I chose USb from the drop down menu and hit enter twice, the prompt still kept saying CMD>
Nevertheless, I went on to input the same commands (my Tytn was semi-bricked after a botched radio upgrade). After the password 0000000000000000 command , I got back an 'incorrect password' response, or something like that, but went on. I managed to then flash TNT 2.0 again and recovered from the no gsm problem by removing teh battery several times and resetting. Not sure if the CMD > prompt actually accepted the commands or not.

[Q] Relocking Droid DNA Bootloader Roadblock

Okay, so i'm using this guide to relock my bootloader and i've gotten to the part where I must enter in the command "fastboot oem lock." My phone just sits at "waiting for device." I read somewhere that the USB connection might not be 100% in the phone, so when I adjusted the plug, the computer unrecognized the device and I cannot do anything. The connection comes and goes as it pleases.

Problems with fastboot on Acer Iconia one 10 B3-A40

Hi guys,
This Is my first post so I hope I do it correctly. As the title says I am having problems with fastboot on my Acer Iconia One 10 B3-A40. I have enabled developer settings on my device and turned on the setting to unlock OEM. The problem is when I try to run the tablet in fastboot mode to unlock the OEM through ADB commands. When connected to my computer and running the command "adb devices" it shows my device Id and that it is connected. I then run the command "adb reboot-bootloader" to which the tablet switches off and makes the chime that it was disconnected from the computer and makes another chime and connects back onto the computer, the screen on my tablet remains blank with no indication it is in fastboot mode. When I run the command "fastboot devices" my device id shows up again that it is connected. When I originally tried to flash a patched boot image of my stock firmware it went through the process and failed mid way through saying it couldn be done cos the device was locked. After that I googled a bit to see what to do so that’s when I realised OEM unlock was to be switched on in developer settings and also using ADB commands. After returning to fast boot mode I ran the command "fastboot oem unlock" the 3 dots come up on command prompt to show the process is going but nothing happens on my device. Nothing will happen if I press the power button or the volume down button but if I press the volume up bottom, on command prompt it shows OKAY and then the amount of seconds it took to complete, the time changes based on how quick or long i take to press the volume up button but the device remains locked. I have being trying to find a solution for days and have searched everything i could find before making this post. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could help.
