Excuse me if this question has already been asked. I searched and couldnt find the answers. I need help so please either point in the right direction or just tell me how to fix this but I have 2 problems with my phone after flashing to the megatron rom.
1.Whenever I try to play a video that would have otherwise streamed in the browser the video downloads instead.
2.I had wifi calling on my phone as a stock app. how do I add it back

I have tried to search the different forum categories but have not been able to find the answer so if anybody can help i would greatly appreciate it. I have rooted my Vibrant and have tried out 3 of the Roms that are currently available. One of the things causing me to not be able to use one of the Roms as a daily driver is that I lose Thinkfree office, which i use to be able to edit work documents on the go. Is there any way to keep this app once you go to a custom rom? I have tried to back it up with Astro file manager but it does not find it. I have also tried to re-download after loading the new Rom but i would have to pay for it, which from what i understand, the license is purchased when you buy the phone. Again, thank you for any help you can give me.
Hi guys
Sorry but i am a noob to all this so have proberly stupid questions.
After flashing to a customer rom i went back to a stock t-mobile rom. Problem i now face is when i try to download apps from other companies that are not on the app store eg mfortune they are unable to detect the type of phone i am using so i get "sorry we do not currently support your device" despite being able to do so before rooting and flashing. Is there a way i can change this with the release of skyGo on android this month i want to be able to download it. As it will be only on the galaxy s2 and HTC phones for some time i dont really want to wait.
Any help please???
Did you do a full whipe? Adding some details like model number, the rom you flashed and the one you came from may get you some more useful results.
As for the skyGo app, it won't take more than a day for it to pop up as an APK somewhere on the net.
Hello
Thanks for the reply i am currently in work so i cant look at my phone but will update on which firmware and kernal version i am running
I did however follow this guide to root reviews.cnet.co.uk/mobile-phones/how-to-root-your-samsung-galaxy-s2-50004972/[/url]
Not sure if that helps i did not however use the guide to flash the secure kernal maybe thats where i have gone wrong.
I will update the thread with the info later.

Hi all,
I've been trying to find the stock kernels for International Unified Atrix 4G, but all I find is a broken link. Does anyone could help me on get this? All links I find over the internet point to these links (extracted from XDA post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1156040), but they don't work:
http://www.multiupload.nl/VQCGG43Z3X
http://www.multiupload.nl/7REA93ZBSX
Anyways, I want to put my phone back to stock, since I've installed any ROM that massed up my RAM, it only shows 372MB instead of 800~.
Looking at a lot of links at internet, I finally found out that I can restore a stock ROM with all included (even kernel). For me, the links below helped a lot:

Hope it can be helpful to someone else too

and if it will help can sombody like explain in short how to root and what about roms ..
I know there are alot of treads but i want you to like give me advise on what is the best for me?
will i lose my data on phone and sdcard?
what are the risico's?
thanks to the ones that are going to help me.
if there is exact the same tread can you send me a link ( i looked for 10 minutes but dident find what i was looking for)
Hey You can have any game in your U20i ,there is only one problem that you have ,that is were you able to play a game in your mini pro! Rooting your x10MP does not delete your sd data (but may your phone data, if you upgrade to another firmware and root, will delete phone data ).
heres the link for rooting- forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=950324
And another thing please go through x10MP section before asking this kind of questions!

Hey, bro!
First of all, there are no stupid questions, weŕe all learning here .
Rooting, in itself, doesnt let you play more Games/Apps.If you want to use more and especially newer apps, you will have to install a Custom ROM on your device, commonly known as flashing. A custom ROM is a is an android operating system that is different from your latest "official"(made by SonyEricsson) OS. Custom ROMs for our device are very practical, because our latest official Android version is 2.1, which doesnt support many apps. Currently, the best working custom ROMs for our Phone are the ones based on 2.3 Gingerbread.
To get the very best out of your Phone, you will have to unlock your bootloader (which is slightly risky) and flash a custom kernel, which is also part of a new Android OS(tutorials you will find in the following link).
If the procedure of unlocking your bootloader is to risky/difficult for you, there is another alternative: to flash a ROM based on your preinstalled("stock") kernel. For this you HAVE to root your phone, which doesnt have any risks and isnt difficult, install xrecovery (a program to install new ROMs) and then flash a "stock kernel based" ROM. Everything else you need to know is in this Links:
All custom ROMs and Tutorials for xrecovery:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1588192
For unlocking your bootloader:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1462278
PS.: You wont lose any on your sdcard and phone if you just root your Phone. If you flash a new ROM, you will lose the data on your Phone, but not the data on your sdcard.

Hi
I want to install a custom rom on my android tr-42 v2 and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction for a safe working rom. I want one thats custom made for xbmc if possible, because when I tried installing the app, many features didnt work including my remote.
I did find a couple at another site, but after installing I found that my ethernet does not work anymore, so I am unable to connect and my wifi is too slow to watch without it being choppy. A friend pointed me to your website and said this was the place for anything android, so I am hoping someone here could help..
I did try search this website but each search returned 0 results..
Can someone please point me in the right direction..
Thanks
Sam..
