This is the home launcher, Digital Clock Widget, Photo and Music Widget from the Sony Xperia ARC dump. Runs pretty smooth on the Vibrant.
http://rapidshare.com/files/450315410/ARC.zip
Extract zip to sdcard and install like a regular apk.
Music and Photo Widget only work in ARC Launcher.
Working mirror anyone?

transparent widgets
here you go - they are from TripNArc 0.8 - btw probably best gingerbread rom
- there are mostly digital clock and switchers and one media widget, but they look really awesome
- if you want nice weather app, try AnimatedWeather (from market) - looks really good and it has nice widgets
hope i helped you
Thanks. Its a 7z file, what do I do with it?

Download 7z app and install it on your pc. It will extract those files...
7z
I use PeaZip - its fast, quite advanced and freeware, a nice alternative to WinRAR
Another good clock-weather widget app is FancyWidget - was free on Amazon a couple weeks ago. I use it, and holy smokes is that an awesome widget. That and WeatherBug Elite, which allows transparent weather widgets.
Power Control, google search... not so much on my end, but you can google.
Thanks guys. AndroZip works fone to extract straight on the phone.

and shoved everything into designated folders my mini looks super neat now and tidy
This is what happens to me
If I ever delete the music widget from the homescreen, I cant get it back and its not in the add widget list but im using the default home launcher

I can delete it and add it without any problems
It's true.. the music widget only works with the stock SE launcher!
I have the same problem because I use launcher pro. Just download PowerAmp which is a much better music player than the stock one and has a widget too
Its nott a problem -its intentional

HERE
the stock calendar is good and also the weather widget.
(better backup the walkman app and widget for wt19i before installing the music app)
buggy on launcher and music app coz of small resolution.
cheers!
Yeah I've tried a few of them:
- the earth live wallpaper is pretty slick. Tap the earth fromt the corner of the screen and it changes the view of the earth like on the PS3. You see the moon too.
- the music app doesn't work well on the Mini. It's sized poorly for the Mini and you can't stop the music. I'm not that fond of that app generally.
- for the clocks, install widget picker too. The clock selection is good and it includes that really elegant new Sony S clock.
- I'm tersting the new home but haven't been able to get it to work. I deleted the old home, installed the new on, correct permissions, wiped cache and dalvik and still it looks exactly like the older one...
I've been able to install all of these apps on the stock SE rom without needing a root explorer. If anyone wants to read an original article on this:
http://www.xperiablog.net/2012/02/25/xperia-s-home-launcher-and-widgets-leaked/
Xperia Mini
The new launcher is little different, but the biggest difference is that is supports newly added widget (couldn't make them work on old launcher).
Anyway, since I've been using the modded 4x4 SE launcher, bottom apps have been cropped out due to size of the screen.
It would be neat if someone correctly resized the music player, it's really cool (it even fills out mp3 tags and cover art for you )
launcher
i want the original launcher without corners.. if someone can modify it like that to fit xperia mini

Do you mean the Arc launcher? I have that.
thanks
but i mean this new launcher modified to work and look as it does on hdpi devices.. right now i´m using a modified nozoomi launcher which works good, but it would be nice to have the newest version from sony. the launcher i have can only handle the new photowidget... and i want em all... (greedy) ;D
this is not nozomi launcher guys...background dock is not lighten ....this just based on Arc launcher ....isn't?

the 3rd preview on the attachment is photo and video widget not the arc launcher. a modified arc launcher.
reflections
the real xperia s launcher seems to have reflections under the icons on arc, play, ray etc

Hye. I just want to ask you guys whether if there is an alternative to the stock Sony music widget because I want one that works with a different launcher. I already know why the stock Music widget doesn't work with a non-stock launcher. I just wanted to know if there are alternatives that work well with the Sony Music app. Thank you :fingers-crossed:
I'm running stock ICS unrooted on SK17i btw
Post this on Q&A section...
Or watch the xda noob video again

Hello everybody. I just wanted to share this tip or trick with you.
I love the stock Xperia widgets (Walkman, Gallery, Notes, Clocks etc.) They were available on stock Sony Launcher. But when I installed Nova Launcher and I started tweaking, I found that stock Xperia widgets had disappeared
I tried Sony Yuga Launcher, same case. Apex, same case. WP7, same case. Nemus, same case.
Then I used some brains. I went to my system folder and deleted musicwidget.apk, clocks.apk(the one with the black clock as an icon) and noteswidget.apk and photowidget.apk. I went to my ROM's zip, went to system\app\ directory, and fetched the same files. I installed them as normal apps and voila They are now visible in the Sony yuga launcher. Not working on Nova yet. But works on Yuga. Could people test it on other launchers and tell me. Thanks
Yeah some widgets from Stock doesn't work on 3rd party Launchers, (Go, Apex, ADW, and Nova). will you include Timescape? that would be awesome if Timescape will work atleast on Nova or ADW.
Sent from my ST25i using xda premium
just looking here It'll be great for timescape to work on 3rd party launchers no matter what xperia phone
Why is it I'm using Yuga launcher but I can still used the widgets. I installed Yuga home launcher like a normal app
