hi there,
i just bought a dell streak, and when i turned it on i updated the OS to the new froyo 2.2 .. and that automatically came with the dell stage UI.
my question is how can i put back the stock froyo 2.2 UI?
Use adw.launcher

Stage UI is just a bunch of big widgets. Just delete them.

Camera on the streak blows...only downside of the phone.

The speed at which it takes pictures has improved.

No it isn't just the widgets. It's the whole launcher. Install launcher pro or adwlauncher and you will see how much screen real estate stage was taking up.

Ive always used adw launcher since when I had se x10 and then replaced it woth dell streak, recently I bought adw launcher ex and its best money ive ever spent on an app, the features and customizations are amazing, forget about stock froyo or dell stage. My reccomendation is adw kauncher ex but some people lrefer launcher pro either is great

I'm using adw at the moment, does anyone know if there's a way to move the dockbar to the bottom of the screen in landscape? Is this possible in adw ex? Might be worth the upgade if it is!

You guys should try launcher pro its very flexible and u can make sure u get more icons in the all screens since we do have bigger screens and can fit a lot more in it than the average user

Is there any theme of 1.6 sony ericsson I saw one arround wich was a theme for 2.1 I want one for 2.2 or if possible 2.3

Recent android versions are making it worse! I like the 1.6 lockscreen! Its transparent and is easy to slide along with my fingers! The gingerbread and froyo ones just gay! It looks like my rival's iphone!
The google widget used to be transparent! Until it turned friggin ugly white ***** in 2.2! I want the 1.6 lockscreen and google widget back!

No they are not, wait till they get updated. i am still getting familiar with the gingerbread architecture, i really want to port my aosp style gingerbread over.

I have a simple question I think
Where I can get the original htc statusbar from stock froyo to move it to the cm7 rom? Now I'm running htc froyo and I will go to cm7. But the statusbar of android 2.3 is not so beautiful as the htc sense one. Can you help me plz?

And no, it is not possible to get Sense in CM7 (Apart from the keyboard). There is a Sense 2.3 ROM, but, its incomplete at this point, but, you can still check the thread here:

Is there a way to get or port over the ui that honeycomb and ics uses in the settings package for froyo or gingerbread? Or a metamorph package for such a change?
If not, are their any different ui,s available for the gingerbread or froyo settings?
