Hello,
Presenting today a little modification of standard lockscreen.
As U all know QVGA display don't give us much space for nice graphic things, despite that I tried to do a good looking Honeycomb style lockscreen mod, and here it is. I leave the effect to your opinion. If You downloaded it, and You like it, than press the "Thanks" button - 1 second, and a big cheer for me.

This mod should work with all stock, and modded sony ericsson frameworks. Tested on .24, and .504 - works like a charm.
NOT TESTED ON X8! (but probably working...) And NOT FOR CM6. Only SE FW!
SCREENSHOTS:
Tutorial HOW-TO-INSTALL:
- Open framework-res.apk with 7zip
- Select "res" folder from downloaded archive, and drag him to opened 7zip window
- When prompted "Are sure You want to copy...?" select "YES"
- Close 7zip
- Push framework-res.apk to your phone

Please have in mind, that it's the only fast, and safe method. Don't try to update framework-res.apk another way, or You get a bricked phone after pushing file to system folder!
If You aren't sure how to do this please ask. Asking don't cost, and can protect from messing up Your phone!
The safest way to push framework-res.apk to Your phone is using ADB Mask Controller. When You f*ck up Your phone is always a chance to get back with this app. Please be careful, and read everything before You try to install!

Wow... that´s nice.
I´m trying to make my own with the help of "draco_ag"... but I can´t get the hang of it.
My idea was to take the blue stock slider and colorize the buttons to green/yelloish for the unlock and gray for the mute. I just don´t really get the hang of it... My problem is that I don´t know why some elements just look ugly when I recolor them in PS.
Perhaps something for you?
I´ll use this one until I figure it out.
Love the Slider!!! Thx!!!

Try using the tip from OP.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=868423
Please look at this private conversation (no nicks):
Just so I understand... I Connect my X10mini and start ADB Mask Controller. Under the tab "Framework" i click Pull to make a backup of my own framework. This one I open with winrar and browse to res (and the desired folder) and leave it open. Then I drag and drop my new elements in the RARwindow (the corresponding folder) and close it... then i click Push to put it back on the phone... reboot and done?

Not exactly.
If You want to modify framework safely You must do a backcup yourself, for example with RootExplorer. I don't recommend doing it with ADB Mask Controller because sometimes it's buggi with pulling framework.
Second - You open it with 7zip, and no other program! Only 7zip. The reason is simple - only 7zip give You 100% safety. Then You drag-and-drop "res" folder from archive, and close 7zip window.
Now You go to ADB Mask Controller, and under "Framework" tab You click Browse. Now just select moded FW, and click "send". When prompted "Do You want..?" Click OK, and thats it.

New WidgetLocker 2.0 has that option. Unfortunately activating it give us not only no default lockscreen, but also any key can wake up the phone, which is very annoying i.e. while listening music (volume keys). Thats the android (or xperia?) limitation. We have the same feature in Battery Indicator, but as I said - enabled wakes up phone screen on every button hit.
Yes, I use widgetlocker also, but with nolock, because with only widgetlocker I can't disable the default lock screen... I have seen that some Android phones have an option for setting the default screen lock to never....
Nice lock screen! What theme are you using for the status bar and stuff? Really like the graphics and stuff.

I started a new thread for this new version because the other OP would just be cluttered and confusing....reserving 2nd post of this thread to avoid this in the future.
-I'm not responsible for anything you do to your phone-
As of now, this has only been tested on AxuraJL5. If you test this on Nero, and it works, please report.
Screenshots:
This theme is based off of, and includes, the original framework from AxuraJL5 ROM.
Main Features:
-Voltage wallpaper
-Data icon mod
-Blue accurate battery mod
-Blue subtext in notification menu
-Phone.apk framework changed to blue
-Notification pull-down menu edits
Installation:
1. NANDROID BACKUP FIRST
2. Download FroyoVoltageJL5.zip via link below.
3. Unzip, and place unzipped folder in the AndroidThemes folder on your sdcard.
4. Open Metamorph and click "pick existing themes", located FroyoVoltageJL5 and select it
5. DO NOT CLICK APPLY ALL! Apply all subthemes individually, and in the order they are displayed.
6. Apply TWframework-res.
7. Apply framework-res, reboot.
8. Apply Phone. After this applies you will get bombarded with force closes. DO NOT WORRY, this is normal. Pull your battery, reboot again, and your morph is complete.
**Froyo doesnt seem to like morphs, so you actually may need to reboot a couple times for changes to be complete. It has nothing to do with the theme.
**If you are applying this to your AxuraJL5 ROM, you will not be able to see your time clock in the status bar, because the clock that comes with the ROM is black, and so is the status bar background of this theme. If you want to fix this, I recoded the services.jar file which needs to be installed seperately. It doesnt take long at all. The file, and instructions, can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=912223 ---- THIS FILE CAN ONLY BE USED WITH AXURA JL5!!!!

Ok I have been looking all over the forum and I`m sure it is really easy to find but it looks like I was unable to do it.
so from where can I find several widgets and not only.
First of all the nice looking weather widget like :

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Second:
the nice looking clock like that one
or the one in the first picture.
And icons for adw launcher that are just black and white like in this pic :
Thanks in advance.
OK, first the clock is called clockr and is in the market.
The icons can be downloaded then you have to manually select them in ADW, I've attached ones that may fit your needs.
I'm not sure about the weather ones, I think it's a modded beautiful widgets which is available in the market, it is a paid for app. (someone correct me if I'm wrong!)
Hope that helps
Thx for the icons - however I have beautiful widgets and there is no theme like that for them

I'm just going to buy BW now, been going to for a while. I'll upload them if I can!
EDIT: If I can get the market to stop showing connection error!!! It's starting to annoy me now, on a working wifi network and connected to HSDPA!
OK then bought BW (only £1.60!) and found theme and downloaded, need to work out where it's stored and then I'll get it uploaded!
Here we go! These are all very similar, I can't tell exactly which you want so I've just put all the plain ones I could find up.
Extract this RAR in the SD card in /data/beautifulwidgets/wskins/. This should give you 6 folders. Just then select the skin in the add widget section, it should show as downloaded!
Hope that's the right ones!
EDIT: Oops forgot files!
Sorry, I realised I hadn't attached it!

Think some of the text based weather widgets are from the minimalistic text app. Looks really slick, especially if you take the time to customize it.
This is what mine looks like (very much inspired by toosurreal01's power mod theme for minimalistic text - all credit goes to him!)
EDIT: Sorry, obviously more of a clock widget than a weather widget!
Purpose
I like a transparent status bar. I usually use UOT kitchen but of course that doesn't work on the NT. After a bit of a struggle I found a process that worked for me. If you, too, would like to remove the black status bar, try this out (CWM back up first!!!). It looks good!

Base files
Since I use the big Minimalistic Text homescreen clock widget (Neutra Text, font lovers) I used my Clockless as starting point (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21669132&postcount=43). I've also included a clocked version.
Clockless and Clock are mods of xecuter’s outstanding left-handed ICSbar systemui.apk (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21616265&postcount=35), which is itself built on revcompgeek’s systemui hack (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1415075), which is in turn based on stock. If you're building your own you can use any of these systemui.apk's as base.
Process
First I turned off the wallpaper hack in ADWLauncher, without which the transparent status bar cannot work. No idea how this plays out in other launchers.
I applied Aaron M's method to the systemui.apk (http://www.lazytrap.com/?p=314):
--.png edits to statusbar_background.png and status_bar_background.png, among others
--"const/4 v5, -0x3" edits to SystemUI.apk\smali\com\android\systemui\statusbar\statusbarservice.smali.
This method alone did not work for me. I also made .png edits to statusbar_background.png and status_bar_background.png in the framework-res with no luck.
Finally I achieved success by changing the two android:background references in SystemUI.apk\res\layout\status_bar from "@drawable/statusbar_background" to "#00000000". This forced the xml to draw a transparent color instead of pointing to a .png drawable.
The resulting status bar was transparent but the icons were still in black boxes. The navigation icons were in systemui.apk and the others were in framework-res.apk. You know the drill (and if you don't google "android theming'). I've attached my icons should you want to use them.
I've attached a .zip of my framework-res and systemui-apk for your reference. If you wish to install these files, be aware a LOT of miscellaneous mods are contained within, such as:
--Snowball Mod by cfoesch
--many dividers are transparent
--string edits to remove NOOK(c) references, replacing with the word "device"
--blah blah blah blah blah. Can't remember everything.
Only use these files if you've got your current setup backed up in CWM. I take no responsibility for any damage you might do to your device by installing these mods.
For newbies
Get rooted; get Root Explorer; download the .zip of your choice to the device's SD card; navigate there in Root Explorer; long press to extract; say yes to go to /sdcard/speedsoftware/extracted; long press systemui.apk and select move; navigate to /system; mount RW; paste; long press and change permission to rw-r-r; long press to change owner and group to root; long press to move; navigate to /system/app; paste; accept the warning; reboot. Do the same with framework-res.apk except place in /system/framework instead of /system/app. Reboot. If you get a boot loop or other major problem restore using CWM.
Happy transparency,
R

Good, I don't feel so bad. This looks really great and installed no problem. The only issue I see is that in Dolphin HD, the status bar background is white, so you can't see the battery indicator or clock. No biggie, though, as I don't use it that much.

I want to collect here themes made for ssLauncher. There is an another thread for this on xda but not all themes there are be perfect for our small display.
First you need is ssLauncher. You can get the free versoin from here:
https://market.android.com/details?...t#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5zcy5sYXVuY2hlciJd
Or payed version from here:
https://market.android.com/details?...51bGwsMSwyLDEwMiwiY29tLnNzLmxhdW5jaGVyLnRvIl0.
If you've installed ssLauncher you can make your own theme and post it here. Or you can download a theme from here and open it up with ssLauncher.
Loading a theme:
Copy the downloaded .zip file to the root of your SD-Card. Then push the settings button on your phone and go to "more" settings. After that select "load" and choose the .zip file on your SD-Card.
Saving a theme:
First of all you must save your template by longer pressing a free place on your display. A menu appears with several options. Choose "save template". If you do this more than one time you must delete all useless templates befor you can proceed with the next step.
Next step is similar than "Loading a theme". But choose "save" and then your SD-Card to save your theme. Now you can find a zip. file on your card named like "ss_20120224_172531". Copy it to your PC and rename it if you like.

-Two different home screen modes. One for prtrait and one for landscape mode.
-A lot of more icons for other applications are included.

It's really crazy what you can do with this launcher. I'ts more like a content managment system than a launcher. I hope the developers will support it continuosly. This is one of my most modified themes. Self made icons by a modified font etc...

Extract the .zip file in a new folder on your sd-card, such as "icons". Then 'add an image' and chose 'gallery' or 'file manager. But 'gallery' should be sufficient. The icons should appear there.
Best Launcher for personalization, i really like it

Thanks! I plan to use it as well. Just wanted to be sure. Could the keyboard be changed,or substituted, however? Too much red for me. I'd prefer maybe black keys with red characters, for example. Maybe I could flash one from somewhere else, I don't know.

Yes you could try flashing one from somewhere else shouldnt hurt anything.
How would we revert to stock icons for applications?
Do any other colors exist? I would like a ICS blue if possible.

Yes there is a blue one.
As a suggestion, I'd love it if you modified the menus, such as the menu resulting from the menu button, to look like the shut-off menu-i.e. black, with fine red lines and white text .
Note: Looking at the files in the zip, it sort of looks like the menu background should in fact be black, or transparent black, but it isn't. Maybe I'm not understanding the file labels, some are more readily identifiable than others. I assume if you don't include art in the file, then it remains as Google designed it.
Thanks!!

Yes, exactly. Mine doesn't look like that; OK, After swiping the screen about 30 times with my palm it finally decided to take a screen shot before the menu closed itself. There must be a better way, but you can see my menu and yours don't look anything alike.

Thanks! Either of your methods was way better than mine!! But, mine did get the job done eventually. Now I know.
Next question is, why are they different? Did you make a change to the theme, or is mine somehow screwed up?
