Mixing several ROMs with a 99% success, I realized that the menu of my x10 Mini reboot E10i (2.1.1.A.0.6) fails. Since I give off and reset very fast ace like if I give the reboot, reboot both accentuated fast and what I would like to both questions is to turn off or cancel the shutdown, the shutdown was switched off and was reboot reboot. If someone can drop files and if they are better XRecovery. Thanks a greeting.
IMPORTANT THAT THE FILES ARE COMPATIBLE TO (2.1.1.A.0.6)
Have you tried a repair with SEUS? I don't know if you already know how to do this, but just in case...:
1. Open Sony Ericsson Update Service, click update/REPAIR PHONE
2. Turn off phone (or if already dead), hold the back button while
connecting USB to PC. Wait for GREEN LED on phone, if this doesn't
happen, disconnect, hold back button, connect, AND press middle (menu)
button and power button, while still holding the back button. This should
work even in the worst circumstances...
3. When you eventually get green led, let SEUS take over...
Repeat step 2 a few times if you don't get it at first. It has saved MANY of
us here...........

I've got a Xperia x10 mini, I was trying to unlock it (no success, as you can see). Now I'm capable of doing nothing, my xperia just shows a black screen with the sony ericcson logo on it, can't be switched off (even pressing power button and the button in the middle, it just reboot and come back to the logo) when I try to plug it into my laptop by the normal way (meaning that I remove the cable and put again pressing the button with an arrow), in order to reinstall the ROM, my laptop doesn't get it, the only thing I can get right now is that lousy black screen and I don't know what to do.
Any help out there?
Try Bin4ry flashtool
Sent from my E10i using XDA App
I'm trying but it just say:
Searching for Xperia
Maybe is my ROM version, do you know any tested one?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=825664
and you have [HOWTO] if you're unsecure.
Try it with SEUS on another Computer (no Windows XP)
This works for me....
SEUS or Flasher.. same thing, same result
hey, all you need to do is the following:
1- go through the steps of SEUS till you reach the step which tells you to connect your phone to the computer.
2- connect your phone to the computer (even it is still showing just the SE logo.
3- press now (after connecting to computer) the "back buttom" + "mid buttom" + "the power buttom" all togother, then as your phone turn off remove your fingers from the buttoms except the "back buttom"
here the computer will recognise your phone.
4- continue through the rest of the steps
i hope this will help
When you get to the:
"Searching for Xperia..."
Turn off your phone, hold back key (<-) and connect it with PC via USB cable while holding back key. Green light should flash on your notification led.
Just to let you know, dont panic or get fustrated, x10mini cant be that easily bricked, i got same issue like you countless of times (cause im editing/developing custom mod for mine) and Flashing with Bin4ry always bring it back to life. OMG! xMini Zombie!!
After having to update the X10mini 2.1 Build 2.1.1.A.0.6 the phone display now sits just two hours notice Sony Ericsson, please if anyone has had a similar problem pomaga.Probvah Reset (by holding Home and Power buttons) but then the situation is sashtoto.Nyama how to reinstall it because the phone is always turned on.
mate use X10Flasher to reflash phone.
It has to be all very good syncronized but after reboot press back button to enter in download mode...
My phone is neither included nor excluded, how to flash.
@valeri77:
try to flash your phone with 1.6 firmware.
Try to do a classical update with SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service).
I hope you got a backup of all your personnal data .
try keeping your battery off and use SEUS or pccompanion to "repair" the phone.. maybe something were wrong while updating last time..
let us know!
If you have problem with x10 mini(Pro don't need this, since it have removable batt). that SEUS cannot detect your phone, even after restarting and replugging and restarting and replugging again.
Try this step:
1. connect your phone
2. Start SEUS. standard process etc.
3. if it ask you to disconnect the phone and reconnect, don't
4. instead, press powerbutton+middle+right button.
5. when your phone goes blank, release the power and middle button but keep pressing the right button until it was detected.
6. from there you could do a normal firmware update.
I was going to update my to latest firmware 2.1.1.A.0.6. When it says update completed i removed my data cable and tried to start the mobile but its not starting it gives only unlimited bootloops and im not also able to connect my data cable to reupdate it. Plz tell me what can i do?
download bin4ry flashtool and your firmware and flash it. this should work

I managed to do a similer thing to mine a while back and had multiple heart attacks.
All I did was connected the phone up and start sues.
Get sues to the point where it is asking you to hold the back button.
When at that point press and hold the home button (middle) and press and hold the power button till you feel your phone shake and restart.
Once that happens rapidly tap the back button and watch sues.
If your timings just right then sues will link and start the proper process for you and break the loop reboot problem.
I hope this helps you and any others out there that have this problem.
Thanx guys for ur sugns.but i got new way. I waited till the my battery goes down when that happens i connected my mobile to se updater by pressing back key and it works.
I also did that and also something similar to Zt3v0's method instead of tapping the back key, I held mine in after the phone reset itself that way the phone is in flash mode as soon as it boots. It works for me all time.
SE Xperia X10 Mini, Rooted, XRecovery loaded, Andread 2.2.1.
Now won’t boot properly. Can sometimes get past the swipe unlock screen to be confronted by:
“The application Home (process com.sonyericsson.home) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Force Close”
And
“The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Force Close”
Is there anyway to do a proper hardware only hard reset on the mini as obviously can't select anything from the menu ?
All the information I’ve found so far just uses the Power and Home buttons to switch it off/on. No help.
SE PC companion won’t link to upgrade as I can’t press any buttons on the mini.
I don’t hold out much hope for the FlashTool if it also requires buttons to be pressed on the device.
On most other devices you can at least remove the battery but not with this.
Just so we are clear, there is no way to brick an x10 mini. now flashtool will always work unless there is a physical defect with the phone...in which case your done. basically download flashtool (use search function) and read instructions for it(use search function). it only requires you to turn off your phone and hold back as you plug it in so there is almost no way for a device not to be able to do this.
I followed the FlashTool instructions, held down the back button but no joy. No green LED on device, no recognition on FlashTool.
I don't think the mini is turning off properly.
The only way I can turn it off is to hold the home and power buttons for 3-4 sec, but usually it restarts immediatly.
Is there another way to properly switch off/on?

take a good look, the green LED should flash atleast ONCE....i had the problem when i was new to rooting and installing ROMS.....do this...
1. make your deskie/lappy fully prepared to flash your phone by SEUS, only requiring you to connect the phone in flash mode (even keep your USB to phone cord inserted to the computer)
2. power off the phone by holding the home+power key (& keep holding them, now press the back button).
3.release the power key but KEEP HOLDING THE HOME KEY and the back key...(if you release the home key, the cell will restart).
4. now connect the phone to the computer and hopefully it will connect in flash mode
hope this helps in solving your problem
if i helped you, kindly press the "THANKS" button
In my case, I found that keeping the usb cable plugged into the phone was a problem. So I kept the usb cable plugged into the pc but uplugged from the phone end till flashtool asked me to start the phone in flash mode. Another problem I had was of the drivers when the phone started in flash mode even though I had PCCompanion installed. I had to install the flash mode drivers from the ggsetup-2.2.0.10.exe file which was in the drivers folder under the FlashTool install folder.
Use SEUS! Its better!
Solved! Now working back in SE Android 2.1 state. Rooting, new ROM etc tomorrow.
I found a reference online that described a small rubber panel to the left of the camera lens that gives access to the battery connector and allowed me to disconnect that battery. I could then keep it switched off until ready for the power/back button/connect USB juggling act that the SE Update Service application required in order to reload Android 2.1.
Thanks for all the replies and suggestions.
I've tried to install Cyanogenmod 9 on my Xperia Sola, I've unlocked bootloader official way, flashed kernel from this forum specialy made for sola (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28957468&postcount=412 This One), then boot.img of cyanogenmod 9 (FXP203) and...
When I want to do anything with phone, it just flashes my red led. I mean, that led is still on, when I press Power it just turn off. And when I try to connect my phone in fastboot mode, It don't react at all. Can I already throw it away through window?
I put it under a charger to see if it's just off energy, but i've noticed, that after a while, red led just turns off and that's all.
My god, help me or I'll be back on Nokia 3310
You've used the S kernel, not the Sola.
Download the FXP for Sola (Pepper) here;
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1876929
Flash boot.img via fastboot. To get in, hold vol up + power. Wait for 3 vibrations.
Hold vol up. Then jam the USB cable in. You should be in fastboot.
Alternatively, flash the stock sola ftf via flashboot.
Problem is, my phone does not react, it does not vibrate, just that red led is on or off. Nothing else. I've tried all of those combinations. I can't get to fastboot mode or anything else.

Happened to me (I use Xperia GO). What I did is (as mentioned above) - Hold the power button and Volume Up button for sometime (it vibrates once after a few seconds, do not leave the buttons - continue to do so and after a few more seconds until 3 vibrations) and then the phone switches off. Now, hold the Volume Up button and plug in the USB cable - you'd be able to get in the fastboot mode. Flash a stock kernal and that should help.
If your phone is completely down (no charge at all), then above won't help. Plugin the charger and and wait for a few mins (before the red light goes off - you should now have a good knowledge on when the light goes off!) and try then try the above step. Once the 3 vibration comes, remove the charger and go ahead with the flash mode.
Hope this helps!
Thanks,
B.
Edit: By the way, I had my SIM Card and Memory card inserted in the phone when the phone was completely down without any charge. I don't know how, but it makes a difference with you try so (atleast in my case) with them.
If it does not vibrate, then it's a hard brick =\ You need the phone to be at least partially responsive to get into fastboot/flashboot.
Keep holding down. It should vibrate after 25 seconds or so.
Otherwise, you have to bring it to Sony and tell them their phone died on you.
Right now It dosen't even blink with Led. It's totaly down. I cant lock fbootloader, so I'm doomned. Hope that won't cost much...
Install Sony Update Service (SUS) and try to recover your phone from there.
Last shot here, but here's to hoping that the PC at least detects your phone.
Otherwise.... Yeah =\
If you unlocked your bootloader Pc companion will be useless for you cause it will not detect your phone,.,,
i think other way is to flash the stock ftf for you device using flashtool.... that wuld be the best shot for you...
please respond if this fix your problem
No, SUS will detect, but will refuse to flash. It will say "Phone has been modified".
Need to see whether it's a hard brick. If even SUS does not recognise, then bring it to Sony =\
None of the above works. It's just dead and sometimes flashes red light. PC Companion says that there's no phone connected. Hope I will be able to gain a varranty or I'll be on Nokia 3310. But I'm not verry cheerful about that...
Flashtool does not react when I plug in my phone in fastboot or flash.
Hey bro,
Its highly unlikely for hardbrick to happen to Sony phones by flashing a differnt Kernel when Flashtool is there Pretty sure that it ought to work, follow the steps below (Note that the order of usb cable connection is the most important thing as doing it wrong will not allow Flashtool to connect to the phone when its bricked ! )
First, try plugging it in to charger for a while to ensure that there's some charge. Follow up with the Vol and power Button to make sure its turned off. Then after that follow this procedure *exactly*
1) Prepare Flashtool and select the FTF. (Flashmode )
2) When flashtool asks yo to connect the phone, connect the USB cable to PC
3) Then, holding down ONLY the Vol Down button (No Power button, Note that ) connect the phone to the USB cable and in a few seconds, Flashtool will start flashing
I know you tried many variations but missing out on one or the other detail during your previous tries might have caused the lack of success Just try it and let us know what happens
Best of luck and hope you dont have to go to Nokia World !
Cheers
Nope, it's still not working. It just dosent detect phone. I'm pluging in, holding only volume key and I'm waiting 5 minutes - nothing happend.
Nokia 5530 for now, but come one...
Hi,
I am currently having the same problem (I have bricked my sola by flashing with fxp boot.img). After digging the internet I found out that you can start fastboot by:
1. holding all 3 buttons (power on, volume +, volume -)
2. the phone will vibrate
3. the phone will vibrate 3 times
4. release the buttons
5. hold the volume + button and plug in the cable
6. you should be in fastboot now (blue light on)
If fastboot does not work then do 1-4 3x. Good luck! Hopefully we will unbrick our phones

Lol things u get on the internet!!!
First there is no such key combination to start fastboot k so just dun break ur buttons in an attempt to start it ...
Steps 1,2&3 are steps to get ur device force restart and force shutdown and let me tell you one thing
step 1 is wrong it power button and volume + button. That's it first the phone will vibrate once for force restart and if u keep pressing it will bypass over to force shutdown which is indicated by 3 vibrations..

could work
I have a Xperia U and triying to port JB to it I briked two or three times.
I hold power botom and it vibrate and doesnt happen anything ok.?¿
The possible solution could be this(for my works)
Charge the phone like 1 hour for my doesnt charge with the animation but its for security.
With the nest steps you are going to lose all CWM and tweaks and apks but personal data still there.
You have two options:
Flash a new rom with flashtool, but when you pluged with volum - you hold it for allmost all process becose for my i conect to PC and its goes quikly so i cant do annything.
If the phone is not recognised by Flashtool:
You have to repair it with PC Companion or Bridge for Mac, and also the same hold volum - almost all process.
For my it works, tell my if for you works:cyclops::cyclops::cyclops:
Hi,
it worked !
after doing the steps I have posted earlier I managed to flash my xperia sola with the right boot.img (the one from fxp pepper) and install fxp via CWM. Should work for you too.
One tip: you have to remove the assert from fxp installation script.
Br,
Wermesz
@op, your battery is dead and isn't accepting any external charge. Try replacing your battery with a charged one. That is if sola supports user replaceable batteries.
