[Q] bluetooth (or corded) remote

Among all it's great uses I'm using my Gtab as an MP3 player plugged into my trucks stereo. I have an MP3 player but promised it to my wife when I got the Gtab . The problem I'm having is that it's rather awkward to pause or skip tracks on the tablet while driving. I've been hunting for a small remote or steering wheel mounted remote connected through bluetooth or at this point, any connection. All I can seem to find are care MP3 players that come with remotes.
Does a universal Remote for mp3 players exist? Is there another option for limited remote control of the Gtab?
CyanogenMod has the option of using the volume keys to skip songs. You'll have to set it up to not wake up by pushing the volume keys. I don't think there is an easy way to get it to pause though, other than disconnecting the cable. Oh, and there are apps that you can get that detect when headphones are plugged in and automatically start the music app and hit play. Combining those should work for you without any extra gear.

[Q] A2DP/AVRCP , the "Play" button and Google Music

Alright, so this is a bit of a mystery to me. I'm rocking a Sprint Epic4G with the latest Gingerbread leak, although there's nothing that appears to be device-specific (maybe, that why I'm noting the device just in case ).
I have bluetooth enabled all the time and my phone is paired for both headset and multimedia with my car stereo. When I get in the car and hit the play button on the head unit, it randomly decides whether to launch Google Music or Music Player. I can deduce no pattern to which is capturing the AVRCP button press whatsoever.
I would prefer to always launch Music Player (lag is too high to make Google Music useful in the car) but I can't find any settings related to what goes one there.
Any thought folks?
I have a similar question for AVRCP on Google Music...

[Q] Controlling music with earphones...

I've made the switch from iOS to Android and so far the only thing bugging me is controlling music with my earphones.
I ride a lot and when I had my iPhone 4S I could hold the mic button on my earphones and tell Siri to play whoever I wanted or skip/pause etc.
On my S3 I can get get the mic button to bring up S Voice by holding it down, but when I speak in to the mic it doesn't recognise it. I have to press the mic button on the display for it to work.
Is there anything around this?
I've tried Google Now and thats just as bad. I didn't think it would be this difficult to control music.

[Q] Touchless control (voice/waving) while audio book / music is playing

Is there some app that supports voice or gesture control of the currently playing audio, with simple commands like "back" and "forward"?
I listen to audio books while I drive, and I want to be able to have the phone to go back 10-30 seconds to re-listen to a specific portion, without taking my hands off the wheel. How can I do this?
I don't have a phone yet that I can run OpenMic+ or Utter (upgrading this month), so I'm worried that the audio book's own voice would interfere with mine. If voice isn't an option, is there some app combo that supports hand gestures?
