[Q] Low quadrant score on Jerpelea CM7 - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I just flashed Jerpelea's CM7 v006. It is very stable i haven't had any FC or reboots. Everything is working smooth, however i noticed that the quadrant score is really low like 850 something. Does anyone have any idea why i'm getting such a low score.
I checked in the CM settings and JIT is enabled.
Good job Jerpelea

Sometimes you might have to wait for the system to settle to get good scores.

It also does not have full function of codecs yet..

Thx for ur replies guys. I checked it today and the score got upto 1000 now. Anyways I haven't gotten any reboots yet, so the rom is functioning excellent.

Just wait, IT will bei Thema beste ROM ever,

For me it's the best ROM on this moment! Stabill, fast, almost everything works perfectly!!
If someone does not care about a camera i can easily recommend this rom. So just wait for future fix. 36,5 k on Linpack, and 1100 on Quadrant... its really enought for me.
Regards.

V 006
I've been running this version since yesterday. My first problem was flashing the baseband, I could not flash the included baseband due to problems with my 64 bits os. I used binary's flashtool and rendeiro's basebands compilation. At the beginning I had several reboots, almost at every attempt to open a new application, especially if the app tryed to access the internet. However little by little I had fewer fc/white-led. Now the room feels very responsive and solid. I'll be using it as my daily room.
Thanks J for all the time and dedication to this almost-perfect room and to this comunity. Keep the great work!!!!!

@tremeree: you can flash the included baseband using bin4ry's flashtool. Anyways let me know if u still get reboots, I'll help u out flashing the included baseband.
Enjoy

is it worth to downgrade to 2.1 and unlock the bootloader?

is it? can anyone create a short video of whats new, how much it is smoother ect. thanks
No! If you would read you would see its not a complete kernel its nothing more than a proof of concept. Z's announcement was meant for developers to know he had accomplished the bypass and would be providing source for custom kernels. The current kernel will never be developed or supported. There is absolutely no reason for 99% of the people here to flash this kernel.

As of now, I don't think it's a good idea.
Just wait patiently for devs to do their work.
I don't think the wait will be long
Things sure changed fast in the X10 development in the last few weeks.
It's a good idea xD
It's nice and smooth...

Backup you're current ROM and try flashing it. I tried it on 2.1 and 2.2 but on wrong bb. For the few seconds it worked (before it restarted) i was amazed at how much more responsive it was. Back to SE kernel for now. If was on the right bb i would gladly use it as a daily rom.
Flash the right bb, it's worth it
Nah, I think I keep my 2.2 until SE releases Gingerbread.
Flash-support and JIT really makes my phone smooth even if its still locked in FPS.
But it will be really interesting to see what the devs can do with custom kernels.
I can't even think of going back to the fps capped froyo roms now. Its just so smooth. Like a new phone.

too early, imo.

It's worth it. But hopefully it will get better with 2.3 kernels!
does camera and video recorder work on the new kernal?
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
its well worth it! everything is so fast and smooth espesiaclly launcher pros scrolling between homepages. i have had no problems with this custom kernal at all so i think its fir for daily use.

GingerLOL User Reviews

So is GingerLOl worth the trouble..I dont play many games on phone is the rom (made from leaked gb) bug-free enough for everyday use ???
Anybody tried that rom ???is it worth the trouble ??If messed up while flashing can i successfully revert back to froyo ???
Ppl that have used it please share your experience
The kernel is compiled for debugging so no speed, no fun.

Noejn said he will start work on gb in one week. Can other developers also release a rom based on leaked version?
But how will the developer solve the problem of baseband flashing?
I had flashed Andy's gb rom zip of leaked version but no GSM no wifi. Audio equalizers work perfectly without stuttering on Max volume and Max audio effects. Rest is just slow.

[Q] volume fix

In this new GB rom it is possible fix Incall volume....? like preview roms made by Zidzhiu
...because I can hardly hear something with the maximum volume
or am i the only user with this issue?
Do you mean kernel?
Maybe not too long til it released, since there is some custom kernel for GB, and just wait till its stable and full of feature what we need to make our phone better. Lol

Good rom for battery life?

Hi all I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction to a good x10i rom that boosts battery life and is stable, at the moment my girlfriend is only getting 6 hours out of her phone Max.
The only Roms ive seen so far are ones that have lots of problems! I just want something standard, a battery fix, she is not into customizing everything just wants a working phone thanks in advance

Wolfbreak, T.E.A.M. and feravolt are probably the best roms for x10
Edit: these are not in any order of preference they are all as good as each other imo

What type of use is it getting.... give a rough estimate of what she does on it.

@misterashman
If Possible, try to change the Kernel/Baseband
Change kernel maybe but don't change baseband unless u using different android version (eg 2.1 or 2.2). You may need to unlock bootloader on ur device for the above (depends which kernel)

try using Donut Hd with doomkernel medium OC version ..the battery life is gr8 in it !!
Locked BL - Wolfbreak Stock/FreeKernel, Feralabs, CM7 ZMOD, DonutHD2.1
Unlocked BL - Wolfbreak ulbl using UC version of Doomlord V6 Kernel
I have roughly the same battery life regardless of stock based or cm based rom . I get lower battery on miui though

I think wathever you do, you battery never pass 24h. It's very rare to find a smartphone under 24h life battery
Try thgo2 nice ui and the battery life is awesome

Perfect ROM?

Hi, I was wondering my P500 is getting quite old now, and all this flashing of ROMs has been great but I want to come down to one final decision on the ROM I will use for the rest of my phone's future without changing. I'm looking for a ROM which is fast and snappy, has a conservative battery life, doesn't crash and keep rebooting, looks great and is ICS or JB. That's pretty much all, thank you.

Roms by neko
You can go for gingerbread roms made by neko.
Gingersnap v2.3 or GTR
both are fast and provide better battery life.
I will recommend you Gingersnap v2.3
Press thanks if I help you:angel:
It's hard to say, and you are not allowed to ask, but I can tell you my choice:
CM 9.2.2 with my signature's settings ;D
If you don't mind having bad photos of course.
Stop asking such questions ..try your self

Maybe Oxygen GB
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
I'll tell you my personal choice.
ICY Snap final.. Stable and almost no bugs.. And smooth. I find myself going back to that ROM again and again after trying other ROMs.
JB 4.1.2 works great, so go get it and have fun with it.
Easily findable from Cyanogen, built 20130108 coming w arjen 2.6.35.10
Further get slim gapps version, et voilĂ , be happy.
