Firstly i fail to see how Titanium could possibly remove the market unless you done it yourself whilst using Titanium Backup, you need to download the market apk.and move it to system/app and reboot and fix permissions, failing that do a full wipe and start again.

I agree with all that was said here, especially the first part
Also, make sure you clear the Market data via Settings --> Applications --> Manage Applications --> All --> Market --> Clear Data.
You could also try installing "Old Market".

It'll let you select either a 2.x or 3.x version.
HI, and first of all, wanna give a head's up and mention that I'm relatively new to the Droid world...
I have installed MiniCM7Pro over a stock kernel, but my question is, how can I remove the DSP Manager that comes along the rom?
Btw, how can we replace, for instance, the contacts app with GO Contacts?
Thanks in advance!
You can remove dps with titanium backup, search for it on market its a free apk, and I think you can replace the contact apk without problems
Well, Titanium didn't uninstalled DSP Manager, thru that force uninstall option... so, still listening to more ideas...

try using flash tool. post number 8 is how you can uninstall system apps
Flastool Guide
hit thanks to the op and devs if it helped you
Thats strange cause everytime I update my minicm rom I delete dsp with tb. You can other way, with root explorer apk, go to system/app & just delete dsp, then reboot your phone and voila
Use Link2SD
Link2SD is an app with the basic purpose of moving apps from phone memory to an ext partition on SD card. But apart from that, the app can also manage applications, like uninstalling and freezing them.
I use Link2SD only to uninstall or freeze system apps. Its the free, clean and quick way of doing it...

dsp manager can be uninstalled with root explorer. Search in system/app for the app, and in data/data for the data folder corresponding to it (I don't remember it's name, but is like com-dspmanager-something ) and delete both files, then reboot.
About go contacts, phone.apk can be uninstalled in the same way, but is under your own risk. Anyways, keep a backup of your files
works perfectly with root explorer thanks!
For some strange reason, Root Explorer didnt work for me. I had to use Terminal Emulator
(Pre-installed or from the Play Store)
Code:
su (ENTER)
mount -o remount rw /system (ENTER)
rm system/app/DSPManager.apk (ENTER)
That method worked fine for me...
But sometimes, a simple reboot and then using root explorer also worked
Hello guys.
I want to know if there is a way that I can completely uninstall an application from phone system. And I don't mean the default uninstall.
After an uninstall there are always some app's files left behind. How can I find them and delete them? Or is there an application that we can uninstall all the files of a game for example with just clicking "uninstall"??
Thanks for your help
Try SD Maid from play store.
And look at system/app for .odex files from apps you have removed.
Which sometimes remain behind.
"Debloater" from market removes all app files also dalvik.just press yes to reboot after deleting system apps and all is gone..
without root???

is there a chance that i can do it without rooting my device?
Is it possible to delete Google Hangouts from my phone completely?
I don't use it, nor will I ever use it, so why does it have to be on my phone? I am so sick of having it pop up in Play Store reminding me to update it, when I don't even use it. I would rather it be deleted from my phone so I will never be prompted to update it again. The saddest part is they must know what a complete dud this app is as they've removed the uninstall tab on the play store page (well for me its removed and I can't uninstall it from the play store) but they sure as hell like to remind me the bloody thing needs updating ...
Could someone please advice the best method to rid my phone of this nuisance.
Thx
You can uninstall it with titanium back up as long as you are rooted but I'd freeze it first to be safe. Don't think you can uninstall it without root

with root you can uninstall it via rootexplorer or search here for aromafile manager, with this you can delete it in recovery, just flash aromafile man zip in cwm and go to system/apps and delete it,exit filemanager and reboot, done.
I've searched for google hangouts via rootexplorer and titanium and its not listed. Is it installed under a different name?
Thx

Maybe it can help you.
Hi, the program Tinycam monitor Pro was working ok but today I was going to update the list of cameras from Download folder (by xml file) something went wrong and I can't access archive from this app. please look the video:
I have this error as it tries to open the default android file manager (or library) that it looks to have been redirected to another installed program, how can I fix it? Which is the name of the app/service for file manager? I've searched for it in all apps and all system apps, to delete its data and restore it, I couldn't find a compatible name. In this Android (probably 7) there aren't options to choosethe deafault apps too, It's a Sony Bravia.
I've tried to delete data of Tinycam monitor Pro, uninstall and reinstall it from google play. I've stopped other apps to boot from startup and reboot, I've installed another file manager hoping it put itself as "default". I've tried with all other apps (VLAN, Mxplayer, file manager, x plore, ando others) accessing the storage, and they do it without problems, except this. How can I fix it? Which google module I've to "reset" to try fix it? How other choices I have?
Thanks
Has somebody idea how to solve it? Thanks
I'm searching for help, thank you
help, thanks
