[Q] Bluetooth File Transfer errors

P500 - Other phones
Unable to send files to other phones of any type through the default stock file manager. " x File not sent" error. Bluetooth on, device discoverable, Paired but not connected.
Used ThinkOffice Free and sent files successfully to the same phones without any problem regarding file sizes or file types by using it's file manager. Bluetooth on, device discoverable, Paired but not connected.
Other Phones - P500
If said phones have FTP , they access files easily on P500 and get whatever they need. The other phones are able to send stuff too.
P500-W7 Laptop
Unable to send files from phone to laptop. Laptop can access bluetooth folder and get the files it needs or it can send whatever files it needs to send. All laptops I tried to connect with, I got the same error. "x File not sent" on the same settings.
Summary: Default file manager unable to send files to any device. ThinkOfficeFree File Manager using the same bluetooth settings manages to send files to phones, but not a Win7 Laptop.
Searched the forum for similar threads, and they suggest using an alternate file manager which is what ThinkOfficeFree file manager basically is. But for phone to laptop transfers I might try another file manager to see if it works.
My questions are :
1. Is it natural to have such problems? Even my lowly GM200 sends files without any hiccups. It's Android 2.2 after all not 1.5 >.>
2. Is using an alternate file manager the only solution ? And does it work all the time with any device, laptop or phone?
3. I see many people bugged with the issue, why isn't there a proper fix yet from the devs and manufacturers themselves?
4. Will formatting /erasing the SD card*default that came with the phone*, factory resetting the phone help the cause?

yes these problems do exist in 2.2 but custom rom works well
try using blutooth file transfer and check if it works
no use formatting your sd card
Bluetooth File Transfer works.. Although it's slow on the "searching for service" "connecting to service" front, the rest is for now going on smoothly.

Sending Files via bluetooth to win xp

Hi All,
I have one x10mp with Cyanogem CM6 miniCM6 v2.0.
I managed to connect it with my computer, but in the android, in bluetooth settings show "paired but not connected". I can send files from PC to Android without problems, but I can not sendo files from android to PC, it says that can not connect (Crazy Thing), and in PC, all was set up to accept connection. I installed the bluetooth explorer lite or any other type of application in android, but nothing, only receives.
Does anyone have any idea how I fix this? Have i install any application in PC ?

From any file manager, Share > Bluetooth
or you could use Bluetooth File Transfer, avalaible on the market for free, it that case it comes with a built-in file manager and also can browse remote files. You can also do Share> Send with bluetooth with this app from any file manager.
EDIT: This should have been posted in X10 mini general as this is a DEV forum.
EDIT2: Correction not General, the Q&A forum, I just noticed it XD.
Ty for help, i will testing, and sry for post in wrong place.

I was tested, and i am not found the "share", in my windows xp, this option dont exist.
I discovered that if i use the "%windir%\system32\fsquirt.exe" in the option "receive file", i can send file from phone to PC, but is a unique file. I need to start aways i to send a file from phone to pc.
With Bluetooth File Transfer is the same, him only connect with PC and send a unique file, if the program above is started.

If your saying that you are trying to access the phone like a windows network share, you need to go to bluetooth file transfer and turn on the Sharing Service (FTP).
EDIT: Forget what I said, since you are using fsquirt.exe, I assume you are using the default windows bluetooth stack. Its just simply there was no software listening for incoming transfers, hence the need to start fsquirt. Anyways, this is not a problem with the phone, in fact you should take it to a windows PC forum, as your problem has nothing to do with your phone.

[IMPOSSIBLE] Root android 7.1.1

Good afternoon,
I bought my car with a Chinese screen installed "px3" with android 7.1.1 but it has a problem and that is that the bluetooth module does not work, it does not detect or connect to devices, in fact it does not even appear in the configuration menu.
I have been able to investigate something and I have found that this tablet has not been assigned a MAC address to bluetooth, it appears as "not available".
I have also not found software to update the tablet and try to automatically take a MAC address, on the other hand I have tried to root without success in different ways such as installing .apk applications to root the tablet and being android 7.1.1 it is incredible that none like kingroot, vmos , kingoroot, etc. don't work.
The reason for wanting to root the tablet is with a root browser, go to the bluetooth MAC configuration file and write some MAC address to see if that is really the error for which bluetooth does not work for me on the tablet.
I've thought about connecting via adb but I'm really not sure what process for this android I can follow to actually root successfully.
In case it helps you, I can connect via USB and also via SD slot.
Here are some pictures of the data I was able to get from the device, I hope someone can help me because this problem is driving me crazy...
Update:
Good afternoon,
px3 RK3066 with android 7.1.1 (i dont found any firmware)
