I think it is.. for camera use alternatives and you're good to go!

if the camera drivers are sorted, can we just install the camera apk from the arc system dump?

no gingerbread 2.2.3 im allready using 2.2.1
Gingerbread is 2.3.*
There is Cyanogen Mod 7 but it's not final, I wouldn't recommend it for a daily use rom

2.3.3 you mean and none of them are fit for daily use imho
But try TripNMiUI and CM7
Also the ARC rom/mod from rdanner is worth a look

Q&A has it's own section in this forum. It says Q&A. Simple.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=955703#post11379898
most GB roms requires baseband 2.0.xx
I'm confused as to why everyone wants custom gingerbread so bad even though it's unstable right now. The benefits in comparison to froyo are minimal, so why not just wait for it to either be fully stable, or for the actual se update?
Custom kernel is worth waiting for though, even if GB is not.
Moderator should move this to Q&A portion of the forum.

Now that J has got rid of the annoying WLOD and the FPS cap I recommend CM7
I'm using it now and its great!
And if you don't like it I suggest trying Trips IRIS and ARC roms with J's kernel 10c

If you are on wolfs 6.1.3 but can't add widgets to your homescreen, you should reflash his ROM.
~Reflash stock 2.1 with flashtool, then update with seus,
~root and add xrecovery with flashtool .2.9.1
~wipe all data/cashe and then install wolfs rom
~install the hotfix
~log into market
~enjoy the speed (and widgets)
Try rdannar's ROM, yes, it is good. J's ROM still testing. Links? IM sure that u can search in dev forum

If you want to try Superaosp
download the rom from here: http://hotfile.com/dl/117504451/5be7fe1/SuperAosp-STX10project2.3.3stable.zip.html
then download the cm7bb54.zip baseband patch from here:

go to xrecovery, flash the rom, then flash the baseband patch
May I know what are the things that aren't working yet

At the moment, There is no gingerbread ROM with fully working camera. But there are many gingerbread ROMs with fully functioning GPS, WI-FI, BT
Stuu
Yes, but you might want to use a 2.2 ROM for now with Gingerbread theme. I use WB CM6.1.3 and the it works flawlessly. Oh, J has announced that CM7 for X10 will be released soon, so just wait for a while.
Edit: Good news, CM7 final has been released. But still no camera.

All you need is a rooted 2.1 rom with working xrecovery. I recommend using FlashTool to root your phone and install xrecovery using it. And then flash the 2.2 rom using xrecovery(I prefer wolfbreak's 2.2 ROM. But make sure you make a backup of your system via xrecovery or nandroid.
