Yeah, just theme it, create the images, rename and replace in contacts.apk.

Hey, thanks for your reply.
I know your a professional in making themes and such, but I have no clue on what to do.
How do I edit the apks?
Use APKTool, available here on XDA somewhere.
Decompile them, edit the required files, and recompile.
Thanks, and by the way, how do I access all of those apks?
I can't seem to find them :S.
It is under /data/app.
You can see this file using a File Explorer like Root Explorer, and, since there is no S-OFF, you will have to extract it using ADB.

I was wondering if someone could be kind enough to give me the wallpapers that come in Trigger 2.6.1 or tell me where in the zip I can find the wallpapers. Thanks in advance.

Just as an fyi, you can extract the wallpaper from the framework-res.apk of any rom that you like the stock wallpaper of.
Open up the rom with winrar
navigate to system\framework folder
pull out framework-res.apk
open that up with winrar
navigate to res\drawable-hdpi
scroll down to default_wallpaper.jpg
Enjoy!
Yes that one thank you. I knew I could find it but I looked everywhere in those apks. Maybe I missed it. Thanks both of you.

Today I attempted to install a messaging theme, I accidentally installed an ICS theme, I'm on Gingerbread, I did not back up my Messaging like an idiot, so now I have no messaging, is there a way to get it back without having to reset it, am I going to have to download ICS, or what?
Thanks.
EDIT: Ahh, I should have posted this in the Q&A section, sorry.

On your theme that u downloaded, extract it on your computer and use adb push to send it to your phone to /system/app and then reboot. If you don't have adb then use root explorer or a similar file manager to put the Mms.apk file into system/app. I have done this my self several times when first attempting my mms theme.

You need to use a program called apktool to decompile it, so you can edit .XML files.

This a is the free google shopper app from the market, which ive made changes to the widget background to match the others in JB, however it fails to install.
I used 7zip to simply extract the appwidget_dark_bg.9 file from the googleears.apk and copied it over into the googleshopper.apk. Then sign with apk & zip signer
i used the same method with the news&weather.apk and had success. However this apk is giving me trouble. Not sure why. ive uploaded a unsigned modded version, appreciate any help! :good:

The first I don't know, maybe on res/drawable-hdpi (-ldpi, -mdpi, xhdpi depending of the resolution of your phone)
The second is on the Settings.apk
I reccomend to you use the Metamorph to change the framework. It needs root acces and you can find more informations in this Thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=591329
