First of all, I dont have the luxury to search extensively through the forum. Since having internet now is already a rare thing.
I have a dutch Vodafone card. Ive chosen a subscription that lets you use 35mb, 20 minutes of calling and 20 minutes of begin called each day.
I use a HTC Desire (bravo) with CM7 (I got that other bootloader, not CWM, cant remember the name.)
Now Im in germany and soon in Austra, Hongery, Croatia, Servia, and Greece.
But I dont have 3g/2g/hspa or what ever kind of connection.
Normaly when Im in holland everything works flawless.
When I restart my phone I have a realy brief moment a internet connection and a phone call connection (2G + 3G). Only this last for 30 seconds - 5 minutes.
Can someone tell me what I can do in a foreign country? I dont got my pc with all the data with me.
Is there some way that I can get my 2g/3g work in the above countries without having to put a new rom on it?
I dont want to lose all my data

Are you roaming or using another SIM when you are not in Netherlands?

Hello guys,
this is the first time i write something here and it's because i really really need some help. Recently i got back to Romania (Europe) from USA and i decided to buy mom a Samsung SGH-i727 from the States to make her surprise. I am very sad because she loves the phone but you cannot actually use the SIM card. I've been in Hungary few days before with the phone i could use there, but in Romania no. You guys think it;s purely because the frequency ? As i studied the frequency problem it seems that it should'n be any because they are compatibile.
Please guys help me with this one!
Could you provide some more information.
You were saying it was working in Hungry but not in Romania.
So you could make and receive calls, and use it internet?
What happens when you put the Romanian SIM in? Does it show any reception or just emergency calls?
Do you have any connection? For example can you only make calls but no internet?
First things I would test are.
What happens with a different SIM pull one out of a friends phone and test it.
Because it could be the SIM card, sometimes older SIM cards dont work in newer phones. Most Telcos will do a SIM swap at no charge.
Or it could be you need to set up the network configuration.
Usually the phone will pull the settings down off the network but if your in a different locale you may have to manually do it.

I just recently returned to Canada from South Korea. While there I bought a Samsung galaxy s3 3g. When I left I broke my contract and was told the phone was unlocked and I could use it in Canada. However, when I tried using a Canadian sim card it didn't work. When I start the phone the SK telecom logo still pops up. I tried phoning SK and asking them to unlock it, but they say all their phones are unlocked.
Any suggestions on how to get the phone to work in Canada would be great, thanks!
You need to give more information if you want an answer. What does the phone do? What rom are you on? etc
Sorry! I'm not on any rom. The phone works fine using wifi but when I tried to go sign up for a phone plan after returning from Korea I was told my phone is locked to SK still, even though SK says it isn't. I really dont know much about phones, so I'm not sure what other information is needed.
I was just wondering how to get my phone unlocked, or to get it sk that I can use it with a Canadian sim card.

There isn't a Korean GS3 section. Anyway, have you tried using a different SIM? It might just be the SIM's problem.

Hope somebody can help me out. I bought a s5 SM-G900t on internet. im from Holland and there was no dutch on the phone.
I rooted the phone and im trying roms on this moment. i hope to find a lollipop version with dutch language on it.
this rom is very nice [ROM][ViSiON-X INTL][Android L 5.0][G900FXXU1BOA3v2][02-06-15].
but when i put the rom on the phone i have problems with the network.
it connects en then no network it connects and no network. just for 2 or 3 seconds. on and off.

It's a known issue. Try to flash again, follow the instruction from the OP of that thread. When it comes up for the first time, let it sits at the screen of selecting language for good 5-10min. After that your phone will have no problem with network signal. Before you get to that selecting language, it will ask you to log in Samsung account...don't do it...skip it.
About Dutch language, some others know more than me will help you, sorry.

I live in Spain and I have purchased, 4 days ago, this tablet, in Amazon Italy, because in Spain don´t sell this model. I have got a Note Pro 12.2 and works well phoning calls.
When I bought this tablet I thought that would be the same, but I can´t find the green icon with the phone, nor the dialer. I only see the CONTACTS icon and I push on the numbers and everything else, and is impossible call by phone.
I have talked with Samsung Italy and they said that is possible to phoning with, they insist that works with Europeans SIM´s correctly.
I put the SIM into the slot and the tablet recognise it, all the symbols are right, 4G and the triangle with the four bars. I tried phoning with other phone to the SIM of the tablet and give the signal ok, but the tablet don´t do anything, it does not sound, but everything seems to be going well...
The tablet is in warranty and I don´t want flashing by odin ( does anybody know if this device has the famous counter of flashing rom?)
The actual ROM is T677XXU1AOJC. I tried with Kies and it installed the same rom (PDA: 0K5, CSC: 0K5, PHONE OJC (ITV)
I have got a SGS 4 too, from Rumania, and never gives troubles.
If somebody know´s something about this, please, tell me, because I don´t know what to do!

Do you know if using Hangouts Dialer, the call is through the SIM or through some VOIP as Viber, Whatsapp or similar (by wifi) ?

My NOTE PRO is LTE, Model SM-P905, it works like a mobile phone, insert the SIM Card into the slot and it is ready to phone.

With respect to the calls of the Galaxy View SM-T677, I can not find any information. I hope the hardware will allow it. Then I can only wait for some developer to make a rom with this possibility. I read in the instruction manual that the version that Verizon marketed, allows to make calls and send messages through the telephone operator. I have also read in posts that other tablets like the Nexus 7 3G and the HTC Flyer 3G had the same problem and I think it was solved with a new rom, although I'm not sure.
I understand it is a very new tablet and not many people have it.
I keep waiting if someone, in some country, can make calls.
