yep ... definitely already possible , not sure when it started , but ive been able on sc 2.8 and both darkrevenge roms .
setting>date & time>Hide Clock

This is really cool and all but can someone make a cwm zip to undo this. Its being used in superclean and I just think its too cluttered when it pops up. Maybe make it optional in the menu with the hide clock and am/pm?

Actually, you should be able to decompile my services, and copy the DateView.smali into the captivate services and recompile. There is nothing majorly different amongst all the variants.
