yes tried it yesterday...a lot of bugs....
absolute horrible alignment....no dockbar....very slow.....just meant for HDPI...
Its actually pretty usable, slightly laggy.
on my x8 lag when i selectet another screen (sorry for my english)
Not very customizable but it's quite cool. Can't put shortcuts to dockbar though.
I am using arc launcher .it works well and looks quiet beautiful!

first you need to extract the .apk and start to edit the .xml file..but from the thread,it said u can't do it on window..ur environment should be linux in order to edit the file.

Is it possible to have shortcut Icons next to the App Drawer Icon like in the Arc Launcher and the Stock Froyo and Gingerbread Homescreens, or do all Icons have to go above the App drawer Icon?

The 4 corners launcher? devs are working one it, be patient..
It would be nice to get the whole S.E. UI ported on Froyo... and by this I mean the 4 corner launcher, the 4 corner call screen, the phone book and whatever else there is. I don't care about timescape, but anything else would be awsome... even better if it would be possible to get 4 corner launcher + more widgets onscreen.

I have playing with HOME.apk 2.1.A.0.7 on new 2.3.4 firmware to make transparent icon dock in the bottom of the launcher.

Installing:
Need root,
copy to system folder on the phone with permissions rw-r--r--. just in case install other launcher like ADW or similar before installing HOME.

that is also god idea, change the image of folder is not problem but keeping transparency is.
Oh okay then, fair enough. well anythings possible good luck.
Anyone have any ideas of how to make this app work on other phones? If so I might be able to get the corner circles working for everyone.

U should know.. in froyo we don't have systemui.apk! U should decompile and edit framework-res.apk

This looks simple enough, the only real challenge would be getting the icons. As long as we have those, this statusbar can be made in a flash.

haha LoL! yes, you're right! It's been some time since I've used froyo (X8) so it really hasn't crossed my mind
framework-res contains all the icons.

You have done a very very good work dude.. this version for Hd devices run perfect, no crashes at all, the box where we type is perfect, centered and the correct size for our devices... but you need to work a little bit the widget as you see.. I try in in my Xperia stock launcher and om Google launcher and the "type and send" Icon is cutted.
So far, you have done a good work, just fix the icon widget and It willl be the best app EVERRRRRR!!!
