[Q] adobe flash is not working in free x10 beta 4 - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hey guys i just now install free x10 beta 4 n im not geting adobe flash working plz help me ..

worked fine for me.... get it from the market.
It only works in the regular browser too, not in opera or third party browsers

Maybe try a different ROM. Zdizdhu's froyo hasnt been updated for awhile...also did you remember to wipe userdata/cache/dalvik/battstats when flashing beta 4?

I don't use dolphin so I wasn't aware, I just know it doesn't work in some third party browsers I've used so I was simply trying to state what his problem could be

I was just curious if beta 4 was different as I had never used it. Not accusing you of anything.

Oh I know I was just explaining
I know sometimes things are taken differently then they are meant..
I'll have to try dolphin though, I don't really like opera that much as of late.

Yeah I'd say give it a shot. Real meaning doesn't always come through in text.

hv u downloaded the flash player from market yrself?
the player not included in the rom u hv to download yourself

Works fine for me on beta 4 using netfront life browser. Downloaded from market.

If you do have the Flash Player from the market, make sure it has the latest update installed because it always worked fine for me. If you can still somehow not get it to work, try wolfbreaks rom. It works perfect in that as well.

Probably.
Make a backup of your current browser because it may not work.
System/apps
If you find that Dolphin isn't quite what you want you may also want to try Skyfire browser. Ive used both and i personally prefer Skyfire over Dolphin.

Since when did you last used JFD or JI6? When you compare the browser of th stock 2.1 to any other custom rom, 2.1's browser is fast as hell.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Personally the stock browser has always sucked for me, even 2.1 stock. I prefer Skyfire or xScope

Can you post a screenshot?
hi even better just go to www.skyfire.com for screenshots and more info.
remember the free video license is only up for so long then its £3ish!
cheers chris
@chrisnkazz,
no need for the screen shot, I installed it already. just forgot to go back here because I was still playing with it. I think in accessibility of buttons, I still prefer the following:
1. Miren - top choice
2. Boat Browser - secondary
3. Net front browser - nice gui & good controls.
though the video feature of skyfire is blazing fast.. good. but I think the quality is a little bit off.
is there any other browser than skyfire can play flash video on our mini pro?

Opera Mobile on CM9

Is it just me or does Opera Mobile refuse to even open on Beta 3 of CM9?
Is there currently any workaround?
You need to use a older version like 11.1

Junk? It's a good browser, granted it has bugs, but all of them do.

It also seems to be the most stable browser on CM9 (so far).
I've always used Opera Mobile but because it FC's when opening, I moved to Opera Mini. I I just have to get use to the mobile site format until the 2d issues are resolved.
Well, I can confirm it doesn't work for me on the latest joker version.

Adobe flash and JB rom's

I just wanted to confirm this. I was told that flash doesn't work on JB and that adobe did not plan to have a working version? Is this correct? I have been wanting to try one of the jb roms from our great developers but I need flash. I use dolphin to stream video from amazon and it requires you to have flash to do this.

Flash works on the JB Roms I've tried. The market won't let you download it, so you'll have to install manually.
Adobe will no longer support flash for new versions of Android. Most websites are offering alternatives anyway, welcome to HTML5

What version of dolphin should we use? I have 8.7 and 8.6.1
Adobe Flash 11.X works fine the stock browser for me. Especially on my tablets.
Just wish it would work on Chrome :/

Are you in stock browser? I'm getting note 2 next week! Flash better work in US version Or I'll be pissed!! does it work on other sites or nowhere at all?
so I just played with a US variant of the Galaxy Note 2. I loaded up my flash player on it and it worked in the stock browser so I feel a lot better now.
