[Q] Atrix webtop mod screen problems - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, I hooked up my atrix to my AOC 22in widescreen monitor and everything works perfectly EXCEPT that there seems to be a problem with the refresh rate? Every couple minutes the screen will flicker to black once or twice for about half a second and come back on. It isn't impossible to use but it is quite annoying
Does anybody know of any solutions? At first I thought it was my HDMI to DVI adaptor but I wanted to get some second opinions first

Viewsonic ViewPad 10s touchscreen calibration problem

Last month, buy a ViewPad 10s. Great device. Thanks to this forum I can install the market and install many things. Until one day, after seeing a movie (Mobo player) I started missing the touch screen. I could not even unlock it!. I turned it off and set aside. The next day started as if nothing had happened. But with the passing of a few days, began to fail often, and not resolved by switching off. Until today that is totally screwed. Not react as it should, and I can not access at all to any of the functions. Here's a short video of what I'm telling you.
(search in youtube "viewpad 10s touch screen problem", the one from chgalvez user)
I've tried calibrate.ini, and almost all .apk calibration apps that are in the forum. I've try as last chance to upgrade with an official rom from viewsonic(1.09), but dont' work neither.
Anyway I think I can't prove anything more as the touchscreen almost no response at all.
Anyone have an idea if there a method to calibrate from the outside, with a USB cable or something?
thanks in advance and sorry for my english...
Sent from my MB525 using XDA App
It never worked here (first day I have it) and now I even can't pass lockscreen (with viewcomb and original software I even couldn't select a language to pass the homescreen).
Why can't this be done in recovery?
My screen problems seem to come from my gtab being very sensitive to cold. When it is warm it works great, but when it is cold it is nearly non-responsive.
Had a similar issue. I plugged in a USB mouse and unlocked it and got to my calibration and ran it... It worked like a charm after that.

[Q] How do I force the screen to stay on while charging on USB?

Running the newest UnNamed and I'm trying to find a way to keep the screen on while charging from USB. The point is to keep the screen on while driving. At night I charge with AC power so that's not an issue.
I found posts saying there was a burn in problem with SMOLED screens being on with a static image for more than a couple minutes at a time. I haven't seen it personally but if anyone has first hand experience with this phone or the international model, please speak up before I damage my phone.
Otherwise, once again, it looks like I need Tasker for the job. Have it detect bluetooth connection for the car and upon usb power trigger car mode and keep the screen on at ~50% brightness. something like that.
With unnamed go to Settings>Applications>Development and click Stay Awake.
Try this first,
Menu->settings->Applications ->Development -> Stay awak
If not working , try this
Menu->settings->Display->Screen Timeout ->Never
Now I've never seen permanent burn in on my SGSII or Nexus One (even while on constantly during a 10h drive to Vegas). I was using a stop watch app on my Nexus One, and while only on for 5 minutes or so, I did see it burn in, but it went away after a few minutes of being off (boy was I scared when I first saw it though).
Now, I have personally seen permanent burn-in on a Vibrant (not mine).
Funny thing is the screen timeout is set to like 5 seconds on it, so it's barely on. Yet I can clearly see the clock is burned into the screen.
Have you tried running a car app to hold a screen lock? I know Google Maps can do that. Plus it doesn't require going into settings (at least more than once).
EDIT: As a simple observation, the burn-in seems worse when it's white on a black background.

Jittery touch screen when not charging

Hi all,
I have a little strange problem...
I've read threads people report they have a problem with the touch screen calibration (gets jittery, activates parts of the screen without touching them, etc.) when they charge their SG2, but when they disconnect it the problem is solved.
Well, I have it all backwards.
When my phone is charging, it acts fine. When I disconnect it, the touch calibration gets all funky.
Any ideas on what to do?
Some specs:
It's a I9100G, and I recently went to a phone lab and changed my screen (got broke). Running CM10.1 latest nightly.
Thanks in advance!

[Q] Prime suddenly broken

So here's wat happened: I was just playing games on my prime, no issues whatsoever. When I plugged in the (3rd party) charger it clicked and shut down. Ever since it does nothing anymore except When I dock it. It'l show the bootloader screen for a split second and the shut off again.
Someone said to me there should be some kind of switch inside which I should flip or so but I can't find anyting on the web.
Anybody here knows what to do perhaps?
tnx
Really, nobody? damn...

Replacement screen issue :|

I wanted to run my cracked screen phone as an emergency phone, so I purchased the whole front and this is the situation:
VIDEO
Every time I start the phone with the old display and then while it's working I replace it with a new one, it works fine until I restart it. Conversely, it works the same, every time I start the phone with a new display, the halves of the screen are swapped until I restart the phone with the old display.
hello. looks like the controller ic is broken.
