Without getting into a whole new battery thread, I was just wondering if everyone's battery usage resets after a reboot. When I reboot, the battery manager believes I have freshly unplugged, normal or not?

Think for a second and you will figure out not only why they report different percentages but why they are always going to.

Idk if that'll do anything, and to other guy, please just tell me lol
From some reason today, my battery icon will so that I have say 99% battery left for several hours. Normally, I would love that, but when I reboot, the precetage will change to a lower value. After another hour or so, that new precentage is still there. What can I do to fix this??
I am currently running Bi-winning V2
Dl battery calibration grom the market. Charge to 100%-use app to delete battery stats-let it drain completely-charge to full with NO INTERRUPTIONS-repeat.
Lol precentage.

I did that for about a week after flashing the ROM. Everything was working great as of yesterday. I just ran the app again, did not fix the issue.
Try reflashing.

needs calibrating with an app, through recovery or root explorer
plug and unplug till it stays at 100 then calibrate then need to go through a few full cycles, from 100 to completely dead
should sort out then
From my experience the battery will calibrate itself over time. It'll just take a bit longer.

What Rom are you using because if it's ported Rom for instance this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1131782
then once your battery is fully charged...it will stop charging (prevent you from over-charging your battery)

it shouldn't do that...do battery collaboration
1) charge 100% go to recovery --advanced--wipe battery stats
2) drain that sucker all the way
3) charge 100%
if that dont work just reflash that rom...
I use 3 batteries with an external charger and I do not use calibrate nor do I wipe stats........it will correct itself no big deal,it happens to me every now and then

Every time i charge my phone overnight the battery only reaches 50-60% and it gets extremely hot and the only i fixed it was to flash it back to stock 2.1. Any way to prevent this cause i want to stay on gingerbread.
This is my problem too

What rom are u using??
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda premium
My battery drops 1% every minute and it is simply that the battery is getting old and damaged by using the phone while its charging, only use the phone when the battery is fully charged or unplugged.

flash this kernel (kernel_2.6.35_roq-143-paolo) http://www.mediafire.com/?jg3z8pz5n0ob8ps and then charge the battery to 100% and make battery calibration with this tool https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration

It erase a file named batterystats.bin wich is containing recharge history and battery amount level. You can wipe your battery stat every time you think that your battery is uncalibrated but i sugest you to do this with full battery recharged.
Hope you understanded my english
