Looking for a good control bar widget. I already have "free power widget" and not real big on it, looking for something with a little more control options. Something that works good on the atrix and also has a battary temp would be nice.
Note: I can't purchase apps in the market that's not in US curancy. Due to billing issues
Thanks for any input

Look up ripple lock in the Android Market.
Here's a link for those interested. The ads in the free version are very intrusive judging by the reviews.

Definitely. I tried it and it has a big ad banner across the whole top of the lock screen.

kewl lil app, big ads, but effective.
Why surprised by ads? Thats how developers earn money.

Use a app in the market called no lock to disable it.
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA Premium App
just download adfree in market and it gets rid of the ads
Work like a charm. Though kinda miss haptic feedback when unlock.

Looks very nice, however it's a little laggy under MIUI. I'll try again sometime when I'm on another ROM. Thanks for sharing

MIUI has a much better lock screen with that same concept. just go into theme manager, edit theme, lockscreen, and choose 5-way

Thanks, but I already knew about that one. The lockscreen I'm actually using right now in MIUI is similar to the one from Sense 3. It's great!
I must say this is the best android lockscreen I have seen in a while. I have widget locker purchased but this one was a must buy.
I don't have a direct link to it but just go to the Android Market and search goto and you will find it

it doesnt fit my screen. it stops way before the right side
I used it for a while. I liked it but there isnt nearly as much customization as widget locker and its alil buggy. I also use a security pattern and it wont work with a security pattern or pin
Its not even fully functional -- when i press to disable volume buttons to prevent wake it doesnt work it still wake ...

I used it for a few weeks on my Hero but uninstalled it because it's not fully functional

Does it fit your screen? I what am I doing wrong. My slider is squished to the left.
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA Premium App
This is by far the coolest lock screen. Unfortunately if its not fully functional then its useless. I hope Innoweb gets it 100%. Im all for buying apps but I hate it when devs charge $ for something that's not really finished and/or compatible.

I was curious if there is a way to change lock screens? The fascinate had a puzzle piece that I like I have seen ones that are the weather. Just curious if there are ways to port these if its worth it and so on. Thank you for your time
Sent from my MB860 using XDA Premium App
I wish I could find the puzzle lock one. The only thing I've found is an app called "Widget Locker" it allows you to customize your lockscreen and make it whatever you'd like. I got the HTC Sense lock screen( the cool looking one that you drag down)

I saw that you can use an app but I would rather have something that was built in doing not an app that always has to be running

What little I understand is im assuming its in framework-res.apk or I think that file plays a role

I have Hd Widgets, Beautiful Widgets, and Beweather. I usually use Beweather because it's easy to view and gain info fast without having a widget on the home screen
+1 for BeWeather...

Weatherbug
I use BeWeather with Beautiful Widget iconsets. Loved it on my Blackberry a couple years ago, love it on Android.
Beautiful Widget is the best!
I like Aix
Give myweather.com a shot. I've found it's radar to be excellent and updates seem to come in more quickly than other weather apps I've tried (i.e., like the most recent radar frame is no more than 5 minutes old...not talking about app updates!) This is great when you're riding out a tornado warning in the basement, your satellite TV signal is lost due to the storm, and you want up-to-date weather information down to the street level. App also doesn't seem to drain my battery like some weather apps have.
Using beautiful Widgets here as well. Much nicer than any others I have used so far.

BeautifulWidgets FTW
I love the nav bar to be smallest using the closed app(30%) only thing I can't stand is the gap between the dock apps on my home screen. Anyone figured out how to remedy that gap?

This one worked better for me, but it is in the VZW area: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2457634
Looks like I had to go to nova launcher it brought them all the way down looks clean. Wouldn't have minded having it on the stock launcher.

I don't want/need/feel comfortable rooting my device. So if you're trying to get more screen space, I just hid the notification bar in Nova Launcher.
