SPB shell (beautiful launcher) - XPERIA X8 Themes and Apps

Hi everybody! SPB shell is the most good lookin launcher that I ever seen realy everything is looking perfect and its easy to handle! I try it and i enjoy it
You have to instal the apk file and launch the app presing the home button and choose SPB shell (set it as default, when not it will not work, you can change it in settings/applications/manage aplications/spb shell/ reset default/ )
and you must active it, and then will appear "Unsupported device" click OK just reboot your phone and activate it again, when the next time appears "Unsupported device" click again OK and it will work!
Enjoy it if you like it thanks me

This was already post it were, but thanks anyway.. Maybe this one don't have to be activated always when we turn on the phone.. xD

oh i don't see it that its been posted :/ (sry) I have to disappoint you, it must bee activated every time :/ I don't now why it's realy sukc's :/

As long as drivers are installed, it should work just fine without any changes. Simple batch script.
nice program, code looks fine nice batch script buddy
maby you can in the nearby future you can make the script better like detect wich apps in the folder already installed users can select wich apps they wanna install and wich not and like that
but for now your awesome

Ahh did u try it? ye im gonna check that out .
great idea (I usually just use bluetooth to push the apk to the phone then install it from the task bar (no need for a file explorer on the phone then)
but installing over USB is nice however I think there are a few windows apps that can do this allready, like ADB mask controller, you can install/deinstall apps from both user and system and change user apps to system apps and visa versa.... as well as changing framework and performing other modifications..
Still, there is something to be said about having a program that does one thing and one thing well.. (instead of a complicated jack of all trades app)
you should still have the option to install to system or install as a user app tho.
Nice work.
Kiwi
nice!
how about someday u make script to do batch install, it will help us if we need to reflash our phone and reinstall apps...

Easiest way would be to make a xrecovery full backup then just do a custom restore of Data when you want your apps back. (that will put your apps and settings back without touching System files)
Kiwi
Tested
Tested it with Xperia X8 (the tiny one)
Was using windows 7 64bit
Works perfectly. Great work mate.
adb is great !
Very small and useful!
It works great on my Win XP.

Not working for me. It says "file already installed" even if it's not. I just flashed my phone and wanted to install ES File Explorer, and it says that file is already installed.
Update: Nevermind, it turned out that filename MUST NOT have spaces. Everything is working now. Amazing piece of software btw. Thanks.
I use myphoneexplorer. You manger your phone as data as well as apps. To upload from cumputer just connect the phone (via bluetooth, wifi or usb cable) and right click on apk file and select upload to phone. Thats it.

So you can't click restore??? Do you have a desktop backup password set?? Setting > Developement
If you do you may need to put that password in.

Has someone said, the only thing that the batch file did is erased the Play Store from there Sony Tablet S, i wouldn't really risk it since your not rooted at all
Sent from my Sony Tablet S using xda premium
works beautifully guys! can't swear you'll have no problems, because some ppl has, but for me and others worked perfect
OMG !!!
wow, actually i was a bit pessimistic with this,
i am using SONY TABLET S with the non-rootable ICS 4.0.4 Rom
at first, this method was doing nothing,
it even has deleted all of my APPS ! i can still see their files in the SD folder, but the icons just didnt showed up in the apps main menu, but all of my shortcut of the icons in the home menu still intact, but if i touch it, it says "app ist not installed" ...
i dont know what actually happens
this method offer the RESTORE-funktion too, but i have tried to restore, maybe 10 times but always no results, all the apps is always nowhere to be found in the apps menu ...
i was quite desperate, i almost wanna to try to delete all of it back to factory settings
buttttt ..................... im not sure why i could have my tabs rooted now
, but after i updated my ADB with the one from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1488822&highlight=root
and then i tried this method once more.
it was so strange, all of the adb commands says "permision denied" but a Terminal was ACTUALLY showing up after the restart, so i typed all 2 adb commands that was instructed,
but still, it said "blabla ... not permitted"
and it restarted once more, and....... VOILA !!
i now have all of my missing apps coming back and also a SUPERUSER apps !!
and after trying to install some of root-needed apps (the modded google-play apps from the ALLinONE 4.1) and it succeeded now im quite sure, my tablet was rooted !!
:victory:
but i was still confused of what really happened ...
but i dont care as long i have got all of my installed apps back and plus a rooted sony tablet
sorry for bad english,
it is maybe my first post after so long time

Why don't you post this in the forum where the rooting tool is?, This is really useful

I'm not getting any joy using it.Tried it a few days ago and all it did was wipe most of my data.Did a factory reset.Tried again today with the latest software but if I run the bat I just get "Tablet S mode enabled ".Run the bat as admin and all i get is "the system cannot find the path specified ".Tells me to restore data on my tablet but there's nothing showing.Anyone got any idea where I'm going wrong ?
Vinny
Repeat the precedure, remember that u must have well installed adb drivers on ur pc, on the tablet side u must have a terminal emulator an writte a couple of lines at some point of the procedure. The bin4ry method worked very good on my tab.
Good luck

Did you already do some tweaking?
Deleting some preinstalled apps? (resulting in better battery perhaps)

I am waiting on the latest update. Then going to make a prerooted system.img with SuperSU and file manager. So you guys can delete whatever you want. Battery life is good. Going to tweak the kernel and get little more out of are devices.
Imagine that: Synapse or Kernel Adiutor on our Watch
Kingroot seems not working for me
It ran all from 0 to 100%, but I cannot delete anything in adb shell.
It seems, it installs an app, but I do not think I have root.
Anyway, Kingroot is only chinese, I cannot read anything.

That's weird. Try to root again. Pay attention to the watch also.
???do you have USB debugging on also
it seems there is a new app in system.
Just found out using adb.
But I cannot see a new app on the watch.
I cannot get adb in root working, should be adb shell adb root or su.
And I cannot uninstall system apps using adb uninstall or pm uninstall.
I wanted to get rid of Jawbone on the watch as a test.
For me it seems this app isnt working.

Don't get rid of jawbone.. People are known to have problems.
Plus I will make a video later for you.
Same problem, KingRoot installs "KRhelper4PC" or (something like that) to my watch but there's nothing to open. ADB is definitely allowed on the watch, it asked for permission to connect to my computer and I set it to "always connect to this device". ADB shell lets me do some basic file exploring on the watch, but su doesn't work.
Are you guys on the latest update. I haven't updated my device yet to see if it works still.

Thanks for the reply!
I have gboard, with two languages, but i don't want prediction, but the speel check! The system has to underline the mispelled words..
i spent two days searching for every possible method, but on the internet i only found people that want to remove this feature.. When I bought the phone the spell checker just works fine in both language so i want to backup all my stuffs and preferences and try to restore the phone to manufacture and see if it comes back..i can use the backup option in setting, save the backup folder in my computer and then restore from that? Or there is a better way to make a complete image of my system that i can restore if the reset doesn't solve the problem? Thank you

Instead of taking the hard way, try to clear cache and data from keyboard.
If it used to work,it should work again.
You have nothing to lose, just add permissions again to keyboard
Thank you for the reply! I've tried just now, give all permissions (Contact location sms storage) clear cache and data, the gboard's setting are now default but for the spell checker's option nothing change (It shows Italian like before and not like default).. it seems that they are not related..
Edit: I'm using this phone from a week, i'm new to android and the only things i did are:
-An official update from the system updater; I also read all the changes in the update and no mention to spell checker...
-Removing permissions to various things
