I know that Logitech F710 controller works with the Prime - but how about original Transformer? Does it work? I'd like to buy it because my next game will use controllers but would like to know if it works. Can you map all the keys however you like? Does every function work?
I considered the chance good enough to consider buying that controller, before deciding I'm to cheap. What works is likely to very by application, most are designed without hardware controls in mind. The Xperia Play stuff might be worth looking at, to see if it says anything about using controllers.

Well, It's for writing games, not playing them, so I will be fine I suppose. I only wonder if it works on Transformer, but probably yes - it apparently works on all the other Tegra2 tablets.
OK. I bought some cheap controller similar to F710 - works fine in Sonic, partially in Sega emulator and Dizzy. Nothing less than I expected, now I'm looking for application to configure it and reading API how to add controller compatibility to my games.
I just got my gameklip in the mail for my HTC EVO 4G LTE and it's sick, I absolutely love it. But I am need for more games that I'm able to play with playstation controller...What games do you guys have that works with the controller?
So far I have....
GTA
SHAWDOWGUN
Nba jam
Dead Trigger
The Bard's Tale
Also you can download a Super Nintendo or Playstation emulator and play those games with your gamepad.
I've been considering getting the gameklip, but I had not seen any reviews or pictures of it being used with the EVO LTE. Could you please post some pictures and a short review? Does it hold the EVO securely? Any chance of scratches?
Sent from my EVO
My review on the gameklip: overall I give it a 9.5/10
Pros:
*Holds the HTC EVO 4G LTE perfectly... Fits like a glove and it's secured tightly. The chances of the EVO falling off is like 2% honestly (unless you abuse it and shake it like a maniac)
*I bought the wired package and it's extremely easy to connect with the ps3 sixaxis app or through the wire they give you.
*The gameklip itself is durable and strong...It reminds me of a psp when I'm playing games...It's just sick
*I don't have any scratches on my phone, there's a cloth in the edges so the device doesn't get scratched.
Cons:
*It was really hard for me to put the gameklip on the ps3 controller. I had to really use force to clip it on. But in the end it's just to securely be on the controller so it doesn't wiggle or is loose.
Overall it's well worth buying..I have yet to take it out in public but I use it all the time at home. I highly recommend his product
Does it work wired without the six axis app?
Sent from my EVO
Thanks Good to know it works well with the EVO. Probably going to get one for myself

I don't see myself paying 20 something plus shipping for a piece of what looks like abs plastic. I've seen some nice clip on controllers but most lack a 2nd analog or shoulder buttons. Does it have to be tethered? I thought ics and up supported bluetooth hid without needing an extra app.
Yes you must have the sixaxis app for it to work regardless bluetooth or wired. I've seen tutorials on YouTube showing how to connect them and they all said you need the app. I've tried it myself without the app and it did not work. Also the app has advance settings to enable game pad actions in order to use the controller to play games.
Even though it's plastic and over 20$ it just feels sturdy and strong. I don't feel like I have a cheap product that isn't durable. The maker of the gameklip really made a fine product.

That's more to do with the type of plastic, it's probably abs which is the same type of plastic used to make Legos. Pretty durable stuff
Native controller support is not in all phones just like USB host even though its in android itself. That's y u need that app i've used the app and its really worth it, it even has settings to change the controller layout. I hooked up a ps3 remote to my touchpad via Bluetooth. If u want more games look for games that have the xperia features

Still need to order the klip but I picked up the six axis app for two bucks yesterday and recommend anyone who plays games to get it.

Hi there
Looking for a bit of advice on what gamepad to choose.
Apparently they'll both easily handle the Note 3, does anybody have good or bad experiences with either of them?
Alternatively, if anyone has any other gamepads they can suggest, please do!
I just got the hero power. It's good. Much better than original. It should suffice if you dont game seriously. If you plan on doing first person shooters or rely heavily on analog the pro power analog sticks look better and the controller is beefier. Or you could save a few bucks and get the original pro as that should suffice but lot of people say the buttons are too click loud. And with black Friday next week amd ps4 out already you should be able to score a good deal on a sixaxis controller and get the sixaxis controller app.

I did consider the PS3 controller alright, must check it out!
Cheers, man!
I want to play some games on my Shield tablet but I can't justify the $60 for the Shield controller. Will the regular mogo controller, not the pro, work for all games. It's only $15 and I can't seem to find out what it will work on. Everything I can find is about the pro model.

I'd like to expand on this question a tad..
will the gamepad mapper work with the moga? ( i,e map screen touch buttons to controller buttons?)

I want to say it did other than the select button and L2 and R2 soo sort of? The controller though had a weird input lag with the tablet, some games were barely playable because of it. The Shield controller on the other hand works amazingly well, I ended up buying one even though I have a Moga Pro after using the tablet for a week with the Moga Pro.
I use the moga power controller it works great, but would love to see an Xbox one controller working

I am using an iPega 997 (Link: http://www.ebay.de/itm/251618052313?clk_rvr_id=728395339564 Model PG-9023)
the original one and an amazon fire controller. Each of them work well.
Best to get at least a moga pro because it has triggers and hid mode. A moga pocket is cheap for a reason. It will not be usuable without root as well since it doesn't support hid directly
I didn't fully read the post when I commented before, I have the Pro... Like the guy above me said do Not get the pocket, get the Pro or either of the PowerA ones if you get a moga. Your best bet for an actual good gaming experience though is saving up and getting the Nvidia one.
Get the nvidia one, totally worth the price.
And get the ipega 9023 for when you go in the bus or car or train.

I have the official controller but have a moga pro as well. If you find something doesn't working with it you still can use Tincore Keymapper from playstore.
The official controller is worth it. It has become my favorite controller, period. If you're set on a moga though get any of them except the pocket. I had it for a little bit and the next time I got money I bought the hero power. I used it for quite a while and probably still would if I hadn't gotten a shield controller. After having the hero power for a while I would probably buy one of the moga pros instead, the L2 and R2 buttons on the hero power suck, the rest is pretty good though.

Will tincore work with Terarria and Mine craft? I got the moga pro power but returned it after it only worked for 3 of my games...
Using the Moga Pro, every single game I have tried thus far, including Portal, Half Life 2, and the GRID, works just fine with the Moga Pro. The Gamepad Mapper also works.
I'm as happy as I would be with a shield controller, except I can still use my Moga on my phone.
Hey everyone,
I've been looking at the Rog Phone 2 as a potential upgrade for awhile now, and am considering buying it on Giztop rather than waiting for a US release. I would like to get it with the Kunai Gamepad 2 (seems like a perfect gamepad for emulators and I really like joy-con style controllers) but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find the controller or if it's even been released yet? For those who may already have the Kunai Gamepad 2, how good is it compared to other attachable android controllers?

Not yet released bro. It comes out december 2019
Kunai gamempad, already available in China
Kunai gamepad it's already here. I've got only the version to attach it to the phone, since i don't need the adapter to use it as an independent Bluetooth controller.
It comes with the central bumper, the 2 joycons and 1 adapter from usbC to jack, in case you don't wanna use the fan but still wanna use the headset, since the default jack will be covered by the bumper.
It has some presets already for few games, and the rest are completely customizable. I'm still configuring it so I can't give an opinion yet. I can only post 1 picture from the phone.
If someone has any other question, let me know and I'll test whatever I can. View attachment 4851177

Are there buttons on the back of the controller and do the sticks click in? Giving an L3 R3 option?
Giztop is now taking pre-orders as well

Very nice! Does it feel comfortable to hold in hand? And how is the deadzone recognizing on the right analog stick? Usually with these gamepads the right analog stick sucks for things such as aiming and whatnot. I liked how the black shark 2 had a touch pad but it was u comfortable to hold after awhile.
Giztop, Asus Singapore, and B&H here in the United States have been taking orders for a week. You can get it by the end of October or so. I do look forward to finally having it

Yeah, the right analog stick is not really useful... On shooter games, it still better to aim using the touchscreen. You can adjust the sensitivity on each game though. Left stick works great

you dont need to use both. it come with a side protection for the bumpers in case you only want to use one side of the controller. The fact is that when the controller is pluffed, the touchscreen stills working, so it doesnt matter if you plug or not the right side of the controller, in shooter games you can still aim with the right joystick or with the touchscreen on the same time. if you remove that part, then only the touchscreen will work. Even air triggers still working on the same time if you want

havent had that one hour gaming session yet! haha.
according to my short experience:
Call of duty mobile and PUBG: right analog stick is way more slow and imprecise than using the touchscreen, rest of the buttons are great
Dolphin emulator Game Cube / wii: I manily lost all my time tryint to set up this. Problem is, you can set up only 1 mapping setup per app, that means that when you change the controller type (freom wii mote to game cube controller for example) then all your set up it's a mess. The best solution is first set up the key mapping for the kunai, and after that, make fit both Game cube and wii controlers to that previous set up, but i lost a lot of time until i figured that out :silly: tonight I will continue testing
Havent tried anythin else. Saw that brawl stars also is compatible but didnt try it yet.

i see, thanks for ur kind response! gonna note that
How do you map the controller to basic games? Is there some kind of app or does game genie recognize the controller and you can go in there to remap the controller? Is the remap only applicable to games that support game pad or is it to any game? Reason I am asking is because I don't play pubg shooter game. I play generic games. Can you also use it as a basic Bluetooth controller?
Sorry for a lot of questions, these controllers are quote expensive and there is no return, so I have to make sure it serves my purpose.

It works in a similar way than Air triggers. Actually, exactly the same. when you open the game/app, swipe the game genie from the right side, and you will see a new icon there, called Kunai, just under the air trigger's icon. You press there, and then the whole screen will dim a bit, and there you will overlay the whole layout or the buttons that you need, on the app/game interface, an that set up will be saved for that game/app.
To use it as a bluetooth controller, I think you will need the central piece of the Kunai, which I don't have, because the inclusion of that piece made it to double the price. At least here in china, the options I saw were:
- Bumper where you put the phone in (via USB-C) + Kunai left&right = 499 rmb
- Bumper where you put the phone in (via USB-C) + Kunai left&right + central piece to attach Joycons and where I think the bluetooth connection is = 999 rmb
in my opinion, second option is a bit too much since i dont plan to use the Phone as a docked console, but if you do, it might be an option. the thing is that there is no power button or charging port on the kunai that I have, energy only comes through the usb when the kunai its attached to the phone, thats why I guess the central part (that i dont have) will contain the battery and the bluetooth feature, and somehow justify its price.
Thanks for the response, i pretty much got all the answers needed. Since i map/overlay the button layout, i am definetely getting one. I got the cheap Ipega Bluetooth controller, although it works but i can not find a way to change the layout.
In the US the option to buy the controller that i saw is: _ Gamepad, the Gamepad grip and the Kunai Bumper case = 150 usd (999rmb). I would think this is the second option you mentioned and they is no option for return. This is very expensive that is why i asked the questions. I plan on using the Bluetooth capability of the controller and may end up using it as an additional controller for my Nintendo Switch with the help of an adaptor hopefully it works.
So far do you like using it? is it comfortable enough?
Please share the name of the suppliers in China where i can get the - Bumper where you put the phone in (via USB-C) + Kunai left&right = 499 rmb
Thanks

You are welcome. Well, i live in China and I've got it from Jingdong, kind of the "Chinese Amazon" let me post the link

Hope it works, but i don't think they deliver to any other country outside China. My Chinese is not good enough to check that

Is the right analog stick that slow on these games? I thought on buying it for COD mobile and some other rpg / mmo games, but the right stick is usually the aim one. If it's much slower it might be a deal breaker for me.. And that's a bummer =/

In my opinion, yes, the right stick sucks for aiming. Maybe it's me, you could give it a try. Good thing is, when the kunai is attached, it stills comfortable enough to aim using the touchscreen and shoot with the kunai trigger, Just ignoring the right joystick. I havent tried any rpg/mmo game yet. If you mention any, I will give it a try.
My mmo games are mostly lineage 2 and world of kings..
But I play more shooters games (well, COD actually..).
Have you tried playing with the sensitivity options in game?
Ot is it a lag issue?
If it's a lag issue I won't buy it probably =/
