Good news for you people . The swype in our g3 can be updated to the latest beta as it now supports our phone's resolution.
Follow these steps to update (you need a rooted phone) :
First of all you'll have to remove the swype that came preinstalled. This can be done by removing swype.apk (and the corresponding odex file if you are on a non deodexed rom)
From /system/app
And libSwypeCore.so from /system/lib this can be done using root explorer or adb (back up these files just in case). Then reboot your phone go to https://beta.swype.com/android/create/
Register and follow instructions they're easy .
Note: It only supports english and spanish .

I am very sad that the Hungarian beta only works with WVGA screens.
You can also uninstall with a system app remover or just titanium backup!

Is it ass easy ass just copy "defaultthemes.apk" into system/app witht the permisions of the original file and reboot? Ill answer my own question: Yes it is..I didnt even have to reboot.

I managed to add themes to the package instead of overwriting them. Just decompile and add your files using unique names. Then make sure the uid's are sequential (+1, use a hex-dec generator). Or you can use the file from my Black and White theme as a base for 10 additional wallpapers.

I know but I guess there are copyright issues and the thread may get deleted...
why don't you download and install them all then in thr fonts setting you always get a preview and can uninstall those you don't like its simple enough

ubuntu font is there already okay I have changed m using it myself you check properly in the zip.. I have all the names changed in my phone will hopefully upload them tomorrow. .

This is a 4.4 CM11 MMS I themed up, I've tested this APK and everything is working perfectly on Kit Kat (including google edition) This will work on any 4.4 build for any phone so if you are coming to this post from another device this APK should work perfectly fine for you too

Install instructions:
On kit kat put the APK in the priv-app folder and set permissions to rw-r-r, delete the mms.odex file in the same folder if you are on a odexed build (Don't worry, it won't break ART)

I cant seem to get it working lol. I did end up getting the new file in the priv-app folder and changed the permissions then reboot then i got a nice boot loop. So i think that's my sign i should stop trying to make my phone the way i like it. Thanks again for the nice MMS to bad i cant get it to work.
So the one thing I have noticed with this is that when I am typing a new message in the popup, and another comes through, it will delete whatever I am writing. Any way to fix this? Other than that this is great. Much nicer than the white background. Once that is fixed I'll be back on this. Thanks!
