I've installed FFC Mod and installed some Video Chat app but still i felt its not the original Android feature, i mean, i do want the native video call feature on stock the caller app...
Is there any way to do that?

Does the Google talk in 2.3.4 ROMs use the Front camera? Last time I tried SH it only used the rear camera. Have you tested Gtalk FFC in Revolution, Ali? I am very much wanting to flash your ROM.

There seems to be no alternative video camera app on Android.
+1. I have no idea why there wouldn't be any. Strange.

Try Lgcamera, can be found from the market. Lots of settings to tinker with especially on the pro-version. Supports hd too.

Just tested lg camera pro. Installs get no errors but will not take photos. Camera works set to full hd record but playback was a shocker blurry and small not full screen, so not working as well

Just tested again. Seems to be working. I have set it to full hd but looking at the details of the video file doesn't tell me if it's full hd. Have to transfer to pc and check full details

Works on stock HTC DNA. It does not overwrite the stock camera app. Installs another camera and gallery app. Panorama is pretty cool and better than any market app for panorama I have tried. Pinch to zoom type, zoom adjustment is much easier than stock zoom. Has some Front camera settings. Sound is very low on videos but picture quality is good. So far I'm liking the Google Edition Camera

Thanks. Cannot disable DNA gallery app on stock ROM. Cleared the cache, but it made no difference that I see.

Is this any different than the GPE files pulled in June? The only thing not working well was the video recording.
I'm not sure when I tried it I saw that the video was kinda blurry
I tried this on my Xperia sola and it's working nicely. However, the panorama mode is not that good. Was the 360 panorama feature supposed to work? Because it doesn't work on my phone.(stock Xperia ics ROM.)

Do you mean photosphere? I tried it mine and it works. Try to reinstall the app. Also when you install this app do you get another gallery and camera icon?
