Minimal Google Apps (market and talk, flash via recovery): gapps-gb-20110120-signed.zip
Other GAPPS you can download from the Market (Use Market Enabler should your country not allow full access to the market list).

when i flashed gapps...the boot loader got into a loop and the phone did not start. so i tried to install .apk files but many including market refuse to install.
Also the ADW themes get installed but when i try to install...launcher force closes... help??????
The sure think that all of these are working perfectly, something you have done wrong no doubt. Try reflashing the rom.format the system, wipe everything, reflash the rom, reboot.when it boots go to recovery and flash the gaps and reboot.

I'm running cm7 on my vibrant.
I installed the update 31 and used cwm
I checked to install Google apps. But everything but the market installed..
Tried another 2 times, still didn't install.
Can someone send me everything I need for the market? (Besides just the .Apk)
Anyone kind enough to do this for me?

First use a file manager and check /system/app for vending or other market app files and delete them.
Go to settings, applications, manage, all.....look for market and vending, delete them if they are there.
Reboot, then redownload the google apps.
Go into recovery, wipe data/factory reset.
Flash google apps package again. Fix permissions, reboot again.
Latest google apps......

if that doesnt work reflash cm7 or go back to stock with odn and then reflash cm7

I just fresh installed Vanila Gingerbread V3 and trying to install GAPPS (CWM v4.0.1.4). Everything seems going smooth (installed message), but when it reboots, no Google Application is installed (except Market). I tried installing via Rom Manager with same result. Any idea?
Use this link...its the most recent and includes the gb based market

Click to collapse
These are NOT the most recent Gapps.......but they will work all the same. There are the new 2.3.5 gapps posted in development.
I've tried both of those gapp zips and I'm having the same issue...
Make sure you enter recovery to flash them from the power button>reboot>recovery. Then flash and reboot. I had the same issue, and this worked.

I am going into recovery using power button>reboot>recovery, but it still doesn't work. I ended up just downloading the apps from the Market. Oh well.
When your phone boots up go into market setup your account. Then it will automatically give you Tue options to dl all of the Google apps.

I see that, but I wanted to install most up to date GAPPS that are supposely not available for download from the Market.
i now have my tablet rooted finally, with root, is there any way to make the boot up time faster? like safely disabling some unnecessary auto start up app...
Yes, of course ... there are different ways ... disable autostart of unneeded apps with a tool like autostart manager from the market,
try to disable the boot animation (in build.prop)
and I know there was a way to disable media scanning after boot too.

I have init.d scripts for that on the sgs4g... But I can write them for this tab if i could just get rooted...

Could you publish your script here?
I could try your script on my rooted tab and send a feedback after testing.
What do your script exactly?
Uninstall un needed stock apps from system/app directory
thanks, it seems like the more app i installed the longer it takes to boot up. i'll try your suggestion.
On this behavior you will only save memory ...
but don't speed up boot time ..
only autostarted apps are responsible for this ...
not 'any' system or market app.
Try autostart manager from market.
