Most files in \windows are in ROM, so they cannot be deleted. You can copy things using programs like Resco File Explorer or TotalCommander on your phone.

Tp Registry Files Needed!!!!!!!!!! Please Help / Uploadd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can someone please use Total Commander and copy the whole folder
HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila from the Sprint Touch Pro
I need the whole Manila folder please copy, zip and reply with the file upload if you can.
I need this because i accidentally deleted the registry folder now touchflo will not start.
---------
STEPS:
---------
You can get to the registry files using total commander
first open and go to \\plugins
then follow the directory below
HKLM\Software\HTC\
when you are there click on the folder called Manila
go to file and click copy/move
then a window will popup. click the button that says "tree"
and direct it toward your memory/storage card
then click OK and then copy.
THEN after that. you can just zip that registry folder and upload it
Pleaz & Thanx
Here you go. Now maybe you can do me a favor. I just deleted the two folders out my sprint tp music folder for the tf3d music player. I need those if you could help. I have a post up now
tell me the directory (where it is located) and sure. i will help you
and also, thankz 4 the files
The two subfolders where in the music folder. Gearsetup.exe is in the same folder. Each subfolder also had a song and album cover art in it. I can't believe what a slip of a finger can do when you are in a file explorer.

I need some help

OEM's For Custom ROM's

This is probably a easy question but I have been struggling to find an answer. I downloaded a custom kitchen because I wanted one of the .exe files from it, but when I go into the OEM section there is a folder for the .exe. Inside the folder are the imageinfo.bin, imageinfo.txt and S00 files. Is there a way to get this back to the exe format so I can just copy the file to my phone? I tried loading the custom ROM and copying the exe from the windows folder and it would not allow me to do that either. Any help is appreciated
Those are packages for cooking including the registry files, drivers and other random files needed for the app to work. I would not use those... just type in what your looking for followed by .cab into the search bar and should be able to find it
I realize the rgu file contains the registery entries, but I really need the exe for wmodem used it the ROM. I have tried the wmodem cab files with no success.
snag nueRecMod...
drag the folder containing imageinfo.bin, etc onto nueRecMod.exe in windows explorer
look inside the nueRecMod folder for your compiled module
That works great. Thanks man!!!

How to create Shorcuts?

Hi all,
I have installed some programs on my SD Card that i use regularly. I have manually created all the shortcuts in a separate directory. Now each time i flash a rom i need to copy these shortcuts to programs directory.
Is there any way or program that can place them automatically to the destination directory such as batch file in windows
copy <source> <destination>
I have no idea about mortscript may be it is possible with that.
Thanks
Found this with the help of mortscript
xcopy("\Storage Card\!MyApps\Games\!Links\*.lnk","\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Games")

Click to collapse
Use Resco explorer or I think total commander can also do the thing easily .

Overwriting Files

Hello, i need to edit an existing file under the windows DIR.
I can edit the file in Total Commander but can't re-save the file.
I have copied the file on to my laptop, edited the file again but not able to force the file back into the windows DIR.
Anyone know how to do this?
Thanks
MBP
No one able to help me out?
I guess you are trying to overwrite an HTC ROM File. To do that you need to unlock the ROM somehow....
