I am getting the popup in the netflix app that a new version is out and that I must update.
It isnt showing up in market.
Anyone have a download linky to the new version so I can sideload it?

It works 100% only on CM7. I have read that on Vegan you have to replace some libs then Netflix will work but kind of not full screen.
I was on froyo myself but have to flash CM7.0.3 for Netflix sake... and btw I don't regred it.

VEGAn-ginger is built off CM7.00 source. Netflix doesn't work on anything below CM7.03. Not sure of all the changes cyanogenmod team did between 7.00 and 7.03 but gojimi would need to resync to their source and merge any changes he made to the code back in.

So the new netflix app is 1.2.2?
I got the same popup that an update is available. I hit "NO" on the update but i was still able to watch netflix. I am on CM7. I wonder if i need to update at all if it lets me watch without it.
So can anyone post that this 1.2.2 Netflix app works on CM7? Did you have to uninstall your current netflix first? then Installed this new one.

Yes, it's original Netflix 1.2.2 working just fine with cm7.0.3 stable rom.
Try to clear data for your netflix and then reinstall it.
Btw, I also have my build.prop file modified with HTC and HTC Vision.

I have Netflix 1.2.2 running on CM7.03-stable.
No build.prop edits.

Yes, I know... newer version of Netflix does not do device support check routing, so build.prop does not needed. It's just left over from previous versions of Netflix.
used the 1.2.2 version with BOS + modified build.prop and still get device not supported errors.
Same apk works on my froyo evo4g
Any ideas on what to try next?

Netflix does not work on any Honeycomb OS on any device.
Xoom, Transformer, Gtablet +BoS, if it's Honeycomb.....Netflix isn't going to work.

On the CM Nightly versions you have to edit the build.prop file.
I believe all you have to do is change malata to HTC in this line.

Thanks for that, I couldn't find a clear answer after searching.
One would think that they (netflix) would be scrambling to get support on the new tablets like the Xoom or the Transformer.

Well, that fixed the speed for me, though I only did the change 1 hr. ago. I'll report back later if, as you say, the speed goes beserk again.

Really. Since all "roms" are based on SE, that's the best one. Thanks to Doom devs were able to "MOD" his rooted SE Rom.
Then thanks to z we are able to improve FPS.
Then, once again, z ported bravia for our phones 100%.
Then 28spawn and/or(?) marcoplo ported Xloud.
So...all these "roms" based on one. SE.
If and When SE release his sources maybe then devs can cook something.

you go to settings>wireless and networks>mobile networks>apn names
and you'll have to find out what the mms http is...

Hello guys, thanks for the help I figured it out, apparently I needed to erase all the access point names besides rogers, and mms rogers, I had like 4 different apn lol

On MIUI 2.3.9 I had only 25-30%.

Probably because MUI has a battery drain somewhere else? Another possibility is that your phone with MUI was mostly pn standby. 60-70% is quite normal if you use your phone, as the screen uses the most power in a phone.

Use Nova Launcher Prime! The best ICS launcher. This Nova will not go crazy, I promise that

Lag while transitioning between settings menus, or while opening any app such as messaging. Wasn't there till 1.4.1, has been there since 1.4.2. Frustrating to be stuck on 1.4.1 to avoid it!
@samuaz, I've posted about it a couple of times. Could you identify why this is recurring? Its not there on the BCM9 ROM either. I do full wipes before EVERY install, so doesn't look like an issue with my installation.
Also, the multitouch fix posted in the @texasice Evervolv thread causes the phone to get stuck on bootscreen! Fix please!

Im using it since the release yesterday. Everything is still fine but camera is working now, too.

By default its start as 3G without any problems. When you change it to 2G still not any problem. Just if you want to repeat to 3G it'll reboot and start up again as 3G with no problem at all.
still use medroidMOD,am in luv with this rom
but seriously,am on ver 1.4.4 atm and my mic dont work, i cant speak my sms or do vocal command, this "feature" work only if i use MedroidMOD ver 1.4.2
it's a small issue and for me the only one, amazing rom

If your sim is usim (3g) By default its started as 3g without any problems. Also if you change it from 2g to 3g it'll be rebooting and start as 3g too.
Hello all, most of you should be aware of the wifi and tethering bug in the buttery smooth CM10. As a result this has made the ROM short of becoming a daily driver, with a bit of help from bulook00, I was able to mod the framework in order for the wifi and tethering to work properly.
Instructions:
Boot into recovery and do a backup
wipe cache and dalvick cache
Flash zip below
voila wifi and tether now works in CM10 FXP 145
Other mods will have to be made per FXP release or until FXP solves this problem in their sources
I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR BRICKED DEVICES OR GLOBAL WARMING SO FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Unfortunately not, that is a bug within Jellybean itself, i'm currently looking for ways around it though but every way I try results in fast battery drain

I am on fxp142 now and I am writing this on my PC using my via my phone on USB tether
I have never had any wifi issues with cm10, but this is the first time I have tested tethering as I very rarely use it, but its working fine for me without this fix...

I have no problem on turning on tethering at all, but every time need reboot to turn it off. Does this mod solve this bug?

I have compiled the latest cm 10.1 from sources and have fixed the GPS. Now the GPS works before or after DS and even before and after DS. It would help me to confirm the from x if you could test it and report your results.
PS: No gapps in the ROM. Also have tweaks to speed up the ROM.

Note: if you dont have data connection, turn off the wifi connection before you run GPS test or any other GPS status checking apps. This could take some time before you see a satellite and a fix. if for some time you dont see the satellites, turn of the GPS app, disable GPS , turn off the screen by pressing power button, wait for about 5 secs and try again.

The fix I have made is kernel based.
AW: Plausible fix for GPS before and after DS.
Maybe stratosk or der Teufel could adapt it for their kernel. That would be great :thumbup:

It was adn is public. It had a copyright protection on it as the name incuded "UNOFFICIAL" in it.
After removing that string from the name the copyright symbol went away.
Could somebody try to download again from mediafire?

I have PMed already.
In the last few builds, the fix doesn't seem to be working. The GPS is not kicking in after DS. Will continue to see what changed.
