Well, that might sound strange, but classic IBM Thinkpads had stylish wallpapers which look damn good on X10 mini (pro). I´ve resized some classic ones (24 hours, blue circuits etc.) to 480x320 format home screen wallpaper which is required by our minis.
Here they go. Don´t ask me for thumbnails, you know what you get, and click thank you if you liked them.

I'm fairly new to the android seen with not much knowledge in this area at all i think the last time I played with a phone was a SE w810i when i flashed it :L, however i played a lot with a couple of iPod touches, jailbreaking them modding them etc.
So, i have no intentions of doing this whole ROOT thing to my phone YET but i will be when i have gotten used to the phone and explorered android enough to feel ok to ROOT it and explore and exploit my phone to my liking.
I do realise I could have took a smarter option when it came to buying an android but I always love SE phones so a combo of the two has me well chuffed....

I love them small addictive flash games like doodle jump, angry birds, i love my phones theme looking good/beautiful/awesome.
I love having lot's of wallpapers, abstract, carbon, matte and black mostly,
I love my music and SE's range of accessories
I love all those HTC widgets and the desire so any widgets that resemble them as much as possible would be much appreciated, for I.e. pre patched fancy widget that mimmicks the exact copy of HTC's weather widget clock, i have launcher pro plus for the messages, facebook and contact widgets, but are there others that mimmick HTC's interface almost exactly?

also what browser do you use on your android or Xperia?

Things I find very cool: Alarmdroid, led light, swiftp, terminal, busybox, sshd, original calendar, skype, gtalk.
Well done on your purchase, you already made the best first step by coming to XDA heaps of friendly helpful people on here.
I like "Beautiful Widgets" Clock and Weather widgets... you can download heaps of different Clocks and Weather icons.. (including HTC Sense style clocks)
Vignette is the best Image effects program I have found (funky old camera effects and frames)
Smartkeyboard Pro is a pretty good text input option
Z4root for rooting (really simple one click application to gain root) when your ready for that.. go on! don't be scared!
then.. Titanium Backup, Root explorer.. etc
You have already discovered Launcher Pro, thats a good step.. not as easy to theme as ADW Launcher but still the Home screen of choice by most people because of its speed and Battery usage. (I use Launcher Pro plus too)
The Music player on the X10mini/pro is a bit crap.. there are some good ones out there, I use Meridian but Cube (3) is also pretty cool, I am sure there are others if you look around.
And a few good games..
Angry Birds (of course)
Abduction
Fruit Ninja
Monkey Kick (simple but fun)
2 player Reactor is great if you want to play with your partner or friends when your bored.

I don't use Launcher Pro so I am really no use!
However try searching google for "launcher pro theme" sometimes it can be helpful.
BTW: Since 405 people have looked at this thread, repeatedly bumping it is of little use!

now that the new ST15i has a better screen resolution, are we able to get rid of the embedded Sony Ericsson home screen that does not have many customization options.
my dream is to have the sense UI on this small but powerful phone.
I have iPhone 4 but I just love the added value this android small mobile gives (convinced few of my friends to use them and they just love it even the first version).

There are way better replacement launchers than sense , Try go launcher ex .
You could also try a different launcher UI like SPB Shell 3D.

Funny, I'm considering this phone (mini pro) because I love (the look & idea of) the 4 corner interface (added to that, of course, I'd love to have a smallish QWERTY with ARMv7 processor )
For real! Please tell me why it isn't good? It seems to be one of the more innovative and customizable homescreen replacements?
I think the home screen work just fine, what SE really need to improve is a way better dialer program.
Love this small killer.

Sadly, Sony did not adapt this widget for xhdpi devices such as the Xperia S.
So I added a xhdpi-skin. Maybe there are some more people out in the world, who like this widget like me.
Here is my modded version of widgetfavortitepeople.apk!

Well we already have a top contacts
I remember that widget.... from my mini pro.... as far I remember the only difference its that in that you can see your last received/lost/made calls in this one you cant , but you have your top contacts there....
Anyway thanks, i will try it
P.D i was to lazy to made a better modification of my screenshots , the clock its a bigger just i made it small to see if i can make the contacts widget larger but i cant

I know "Top Contacts". That show me the most frequency used contacts, but not my favorite contacts. ;-)
