Download the ROM and pull it out of it. Its called fancy widget. Prob in system/app or data/app.

Why not just add a .nomedia file to the folder that holds those pictures? That's what I do.

System/pre-installed apps are installed in /system/app
just pack any app back into .apk using bluetooth file transfer

Not sure the difficulty you're having...
You just need to download a different launcher like Apex or Nova launcher than you'll be able to do that.

If you are talking about home screen folders then the paid version of Apex lets you do that.
