Is there an mod or way to get rid of that silly restriction from using a video player or taking a picture on your phone when you have low battery?

You can install an alternate camera through sgs tools that disables the camera battery check, but I don't know if there is a similar fix for the media player.

What rom are you running?
It doesn't happen with Trigger 2.8.1

I'm watching a video and it looks so unnatural. I read that 9100 allowed for changing saturation. Ours doesn't? Is there an app for that?

Already been asked. Too tired to find the link, pain medication + benedryl)
Most if not all roms in the dev section will enable it.

Get unnamedrom and look in display settings... I think the options are dynamic being the most saturated, normal being medium, and movie being the least

So I have to flash a custom rom? OK thanks.

You could flash a custom ROM. Or just use supercurio's "voodoo screen tuner" from the market. Does wonders for video as well as the screen in general. Not that its necessarily adjusting saturation only.

Any way to increase volume....ita funny such a big phone yet so small of a volume.haha guessing we have to wait for cm9 or is there any mod we can do. The speaker is just so low. Watching netflix and youtube is an experience like no other....hearing it is a different story haha

It doesn't help any that the speaker is rear firing! I have a leather flip case on the phone so it's really bad
Lol a Bluetooth case would be awesome with a bigger speaker on it

+1 on equalizer, works on everything I've thrown it.
power amp is also the best, if you aren't using google or Amazon music clouds.

You can also use the app eRay Free or the paid version in the Android Market to fix the volume issue. Works very well...and a great task mgr app. This is for both in-call (headset) and external speaker volume fix.
Just took a few pictures with and without flash in the dark of a log fire, my music paused or stopped with each..
Is this normally? , can it be fixed, surely the CPU can handle both at once??
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Thats normal. All phones do this. Imagine recording a video and listening music... lol

It's because of the shutter sound. GS3 has it on by default and can't be disabled due to laws in some countries. Unless you root of course.. or use alternative camera app with no shutter sound.
Ho everyone, I've been having a great time with root box. I was a bit discouraged about using an aosp rom(because of all the extra features that Samsung roms have (ultima rom ) but the multitasking lag that I suffer from it was gone the moment i changed to an aosp rom. I miss some things about samsung roms, but otherwise I quite happy I did the change. But the only thing that I think is the best for me is the Samsung camera app. It has far superior quality and functions over the aosp one even though its faster in opening. But it lack the low light conditions that the Samsung one has(and don't tell that they has the same quality because it doesn't)
So to sum it up I wannna know if i can have the Samsung camera app over my rom( root box for the ones who skipped my intro) or something that I could do to use that camera. I know that there are some persons out there that could have the same question so i hope this can help them and that somebody gives any idea, thanks.

Not possible.
Samsung camera will only work on TW ROM.

So it's practically impossible. Anybody has any kind of suggestion?

No matter what camera you install, all will act roughly the same. Completely the same regarding lowlight conditions.
If you need a better camera, go back to Crapwiz.

Well by seeing the suggestion you are giving i will try to do dual boot with siyah kernel with a tw rom. Any suggestions about a light one, just to use the camera.

Well you could compile the camera apk with all the dependencies built into it (harder than it sounds). We did it back in the S1 days.

Need something to do? Want a little... challenge? Seriously though, would you be interested in doing that, please
Lately, any time I play music (doesn't matter which app or player) there are small skips in the audio. It's unbelievably irritating. This happens regardless of how much RAM is available, and it happens with locally saved files and streaming files.
I did a lot of searching before coming here, and tried two possible solutions: disable musicFX, and disable S Voice app controls. Neither remedied the problem.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
It tales a lot of playing with kernels Amy have experienced thisy self included

I should have mentioned that I am stock rooted, and willing to flash. So far I have been happy on the stock ROM, but if there are any ROM/kernel combos that get rid of the problem, I'd be willing to give it a try.

Honestly for me its random o keep flashing till I found something that works proerely IMO its pure chance
