Hey guys,
2 days ago I flashed the latest Fusion 2.2 ROM and started to have wifi problem (unable to start wifi) or it would connect and immediately disconnect and all the wifi hotspot would disappeared as well. I know its not the ROM's fault cuz I've tried 4 other ROM's trying to figure out how to fix this, but since I have no skillz what so ever other then flashing roms (if you consider this a skill...lol)
Can my wifi be fried? or else???
Thanks in advance for your help!
Seems strange. You tried 2.1 ROMS as well as Froyo?

Yes, 2.1 VanillaEclair 4.0 & 5.0
Froyo, Cronos 2.2 ROM and Fusion ROM...
I've even gone back to my original 1.5 ROM and it still the same! I also flashed 3 different Radio ROM and it doesn't change anything!
Now most of the time it can't even find any wifi spots!
What about changing the radio maybe?

I hope you dev's can help me out!
Anyone? Sucks Im using only my data and it will cost me a lot... (i need internet access all the time)

shoot…same happening here! So its either the 2.2 rom or the wifi tether fried it!
I've been looking around for wifi-calling for axura. Every apk I've tried has the issue with the call volume.
Is there an apk that fully works?
Will there be one in the future?
Once the official froyo is released then I would assume it should work as described 100%. Its technology not reliability.
T-Mobile Wi-Fi Calling extracted from the JK6 Stock Froyo Rom

Thank you for giving me that d/l.
Is there something I need to do with that number or just install?
Will report back on how it works on auxura 2.0.5
The number is just a version, different from the older one (Version: MS-HTCVISION-KNT20-02). Just install and see if it works. I wrote it because for Axura 2.0.5 the HTC version had the volume call problem, but with the newer version everything seems to work, at least for me.

Thanks for your help but it doesn't work at all. I can't hear anything it doesn't even ring and the person I called said my voice sounded robotic. I'm assuming it doesn't work on other jk2 roms either
NERO 3
works perfect on NERO 3...
Thanks! It works perfect on Nero 3 beta!!!

Thank you very much.
:-D
this won't work on a rooted captivate? tmobile only?
Are there any updates to this app since the new ROM leaks?
Just how DOES it work? How does the phone "know" when to use WiFi and when to use a cell signal? If there is no cell signal, will it automatically just use WiFi to place the call?
Hmm, this doesn't seem to work on an HD2 running gingerbread. Does anyone know whether this is froyo reliant, or maybe my rom doesn't support it?
crash in Samsung tab
will it work with Triger V3.2 using KB5 modem?
I would also be curious to know if this will work on a Gingerbread ROM??

Hello,
Can some point me to where I can find the stock Froyo ROM for LG Optimus One? I am trying to debrand the phone from Koodo.
I wanted to install the CM7 ROM but it doesn't appear to be stable yet (e.g. bluetooth calling doesn't work), so I'll stick with Froyo for now.
Thanks.

mik_os cited "Call via bluetooth headset don't work (crappy sound/mic)." as a known bug in the CM7 release thread.
Do bluetooth calling work?
Okay so I recently decided to to upgrade to the 4.4.2 KitKat root through this video http://youtu.be/AIRoQKTLeJQ and I was running the stock deodexed rom that was provided. I then looked up some compatible custom roms and came across several that were supposedly compatible with NC5 and Safestrap 3.72. However, on most of them (Echoe Rom, Bajarom, Phoenix Rom, etc) the wifi does not turn on even after rebooting. Bajarom it would work (it would take FOREVER to turn on though) until after I restored my nandroid backup (just data) from before I upgraded to 4.4.2 via the video. Then the wifi function would stop... Echoe Rom and Phoenix Rom both had a Galaxy S5 port that had S5 apps, themes, etc. These ones wouldn't have any network access at all. WiFi and 4G would not work. I would still have a signal so I could send texts and call people. I tried flashing modules and modems and NC5 fixes but nothing would work... Does anybody know how to fix this WiFi problem?? Or does anybody know of a good, clean, custom TouchWiz rom that has working wifi? This would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Did you flash modules after rom? That's the only way your wifi is going to work.
Check out giglies NC2 wifi fix and see if that helps: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23487008491963696
Yea I tried the modules and they didn't help. But thanks! I'll give this a shot.

Yea, I tried it last night. I was desperate and was on the verge of just reflashing the stock rom. Luckily that fixed worked, havent experienced any problems.

Stock rom, just rooted.
Is it safe to flash a custom rom like CM11? I upgraded my phone to 4.4.2 NC5 through ODIN, then did the Towel root and flashed Safestrap.
I dont think so.

Yea. I was going to reflash it to get back the stock kernel. I just got the phone so I didnt have much info to lose and I was in a rush and could't find a solution in the kernel thread. I see people asking about losing wifi, but no one posts any solutions.

So the wifi fix worked but I'm still not getting a 4G signal and I can't make calls or send texts on Echoe Rom or Phoenix Rom. It says there's modules in that wifi fix and I even flashed separate modules but it didn't change anything. Do you know what I can do to fix this?

Sounds like maybe some issues with your APN settings.
Check this thread and see if they match what you have: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2734775

There's no option to change APN setting in those roms... I honestly don't even know where to begin trying to fix this anymore...
Modules Needed??
Does anybody have any idea how I would flash Echoe Rom with the S5 port to my phone with Safestrap 3.72. I have the NC5 bootloader and I'm wondering what modules I need to flash in order to have working wifi AND data/calling/service. When I flash Echoe Rom my baseband version changes to NC2... Does this change the modules I need to flash? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

You could try flashing that wifi fix, which will set your modem as NC2. Then flash the NC5 modem and you'll have the NC5 baseband and working wifi (this is what I do for Hyperdrive).

Hyperdrive is excellent. I Love it. The link and everything you will need to know can be found here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2301724 I have tried other ROM's also, Baja, GruesomeWolf, just to name a couple and I have found Hyperdrive to be the most stable.
Hey guys,
right now there are lots oft oreo Roms supporting mido, but everytime i flashed one (like cardinal which is working for many users) i cant connect to my home wifi network. It tries to connect, then the signal is dropping and it says "saved" again. On other phones running oreo this wifi is working perfectly. I already disabled IPv6 and it didnt help. So I hope anyone knows how to fix it!
Same here, i had problems connecting to hidden WiFi in every oreo rom i tested. By the way what firmware did you flash when installing your Rom
I have this problem ...happens with Oreo and sometimes with nought
Just tried to install Pixel Experience, Aosp Extended and LineageOs, still same wifi problem with all roms.
Has anyone been able to fix it?
Same here! hope someone gets a fix

Using AEX 5.1 a few days now, no wifi problems. Are you on latest firmware? I got cellular signal improvement with the latest firmware, don't know if it fixes wifi probs too, but if you are not on latest firmware you should try that.

Yeah, I have flashed firmwares since they were extracted and posted here. By the way, I also noted that none of that firmware has helped me with the signal drop issue that was reported since LineageOs 14.1

I'm not sure about it. Because I tested from several wifi connections. And all of them work ok if I try to connect from any Miui rom or any Nougat based custom rom.
