* New Boot Animation! (surprise!)
* Terminal included
* Wireless and Wired Tether included
* 3G/HSDA Hack - you will get over 3Mbps on data and signal strength will be higher.
* Themed in black with original Arayray drop down menu.
* Original Arayray touches (you know what I am talking about!)
**** FULL WIPE IS REQUIRED DUE TO NEW KERNEL STRUCTURE AND FILES
FORMAT SYSTEM, BOOT, DATA and CACHE FIRST! ****
Notes: A2SD is enabled and moved Dalvik-Cache on bootup to sd-ext mount point upon first boot.
You must have a partitioned SD Card prior. Clockwork 3.0.0.5 does this for you. Class 6 always recommended. If you fail to do this, you will have a boot loop until you create a SD Card created with at least 128MB EXT3.
First boot will be slow. Just give it time - BusyBox is on overdrive the first boot!
Any apps you want will have to be downloaded. I used this to conserve space and battery.
Arayray Updater is not working and will force close / or work but do nothing. I did copy over the original Wallpapers.apk to allow Arayray Wallpapers. I am working with Arayray on this particular file.
From here on out (as this is just a testing build beta - even though I have made sure you can use this as your daily driver) will be together with Arayray. Beta 1 is the only release without his word of wisdom. Other releases will be part of his in the future. (disregard my last post before I edited to show the link)

Since I don't have control over credit card yet, I'll be a tester. Looking forward to it man, speed and battery life is what I need the most!

ill test. id also suggest a modded kernel with smartass, the modded adw apk, and the option for themes like in cw nightlies.
Can you post screenshots please? I'm currently on Arayray Revamped and am wondering what the difference between this ROM is and Arayray Revamped or Arayray Revamped Themed? Thanks for continuing on this awesome ROM!!
Only thing I'd like to see over the original is WiFi calling. Other than the I like mostly vanilla roms. I'd rather do my own customizations.

I don't think there is an actual rom as of yet. So no screenshots either is my best guess.

I do have screenshots showing the vanilla UI.
I am using the vanilla as my daily driver to ensure all is working. No problems so far even with overclocking.
I will post those in original thread starter later this evening.
To those asking about sense widgets: I will not be including those due to legal reasons.

Also for people joining the thread. Make sure you have a nandroid to your previous rom just in case something goes wrong.

Thanks for all you XDA members and Arayray mostly! Without this, it wouldn't be great!

If its not just dl wifi call app its here in xda sumware oh and make sure u have latest radio othe wise it wonk work
is it normal for the beginning setup to lag a bit when pressing next and stuff? as in like delayed response to touch.
edit: nvm, it went away after a few minutes
alright, been testing it out on some things. the only thing that didn't work right was wired tethering. then again, i never figured out how to work it, so that's probably me doing something wrong.
the phone rebooted itself about 5 minutes after initial setup: first time was when i was recovering apps from titanium backup. then i reflashed the rom, full wipe, happened again around the same time, except i was manually updating/downloading apps instead of using titanium.
other than that, so far it's smooth sailing and i'm loving it!

Note: This is a learning experience for me, lots of stuff will end up broken, but I do plan on fixing most of the bugs and eventually compiling this from source myself.
This ROM is based off #TeamSlide's previous Senseless work, with a number of fixes, updates, mods, and planned improvements.
Changelog:
Version 39
-New bootanimation! That doesn't work! It's broken 'cause the boot sequence is too fast (30 seconds~ first boot, 10 seconds~ every boot after)
-Moved some crap to /system to save space on /data for apps
-AdFree Android's hosts file has been applied! No AdMob ads in apps or ads on the internet!
-Minor tweaks
-Every key works except ? and Sym (Thanks Eugene!)
-Boots in 10 goddamn seconds!
Versions 1-37
-Livewallpapers fixed (including stock Nexus ones, proper MDPI drawables. Props to Wes)
-Zipaligns apps as they are installed
-Minor framework changes (I screwed up the status bar and then fixed it, you probably won't notice the difference)
-Removed LauncherPro (yuck)
-Added ADW.Launcher 1.0.1 (yum!)
-Added my modified HTC_IME Mod v27 in /system/app
-Latest Spareparts (Dunno if many things in it will work)
-Pressing DPAD with wake screen
-Internal task killer modification
-Some random stuff I forgot
-Removed warez
Kangs/Thanks:
Live wallpapers from OpenEclair and WesBlend 1.0.2 by WesGarner
Cyanogen for... lots of stuff
ADW Launcher from AnderWebs
jp###### and kingofyo1 for the original #TeamSlide ROM
Eugene373 for his keylayouts
What works:
*WiFi
*Device keyboard autocorrection (YAY!)
*Market
*GPS
*Live wallpapers (INCLUDING STOCK!)
*Everything not mentioned below
Broken:
*? and Sym keys
*Keyboard backlight
*Autobrightness
*Bootanimation (boots too fast for it to work, dunno how to fix)

IMPORTANT: If you decide to use LatinIME aka the stock Android keyboard you MUST long press and change to the *SECOND* one on the list, the first one is all sorts of messed up. Same goes for settings, the second one on the list has the proper settings.
Nandroiding now. Ill report back after lunch and let you know how it is. Sounds promising.

It's feels like to me a mirror image except some settings in messaging are missing, and i cant get the trackpad to wake the screen up unless im messing something. And the htc keyboard is included. Pull down notifications is cool. I like it a lot. Hey dev can u pull the keymapping file from 1.3 and use it cause all the keys work on that version. Just a thought. That's all I can think of I love non sense roms.

Slightly Better Gingerbread for Bionix-v (1.2.1)For a more authentic Gingerbread experience (or not) in Bionix-v. Plus addons!
As seen on Androidspin (2.1 beta). Thanks Stormy!
To be honest, you can hardly call these themes. There were just a few small things about the Nero/Bionix-v series that bugged me, so I fixed them and decided to share them with you! All I did was modify the Bionix-v framework-res.apk and twframework-res.apk to do the following, nothing else has been changed.
Disclaimer:
I do my best to thoroughly test and make sure my themes and updates as universal as possible. That being said, not every flash is perfect. Issues with my themes/updates in the past have been rare, and easily recoverable, but that may not always be the case. Just as with any other updates you apply to your device, you're taking a small risk; That risk can grow when negative factors are added, e.g. human error/misjudgment, bad downloads, bad flashes, etc. I make these updates in my spare time, and offer them to anyone interested, however I am not responsible for damaged software, hardware, or any lives that brutally fall apart after flashing my updates. Please make sure you fully understand what you're doing, and the steps to reverse it if necessary, before applying these updates. XDA is a valuable source of information, simple searching/reading threads will often help you find a solution.
Apply SBG:
Unless you'd like to test compatibility with another ROM, please make sure you're running Bionix-v 1.2.1.
If you've applied any other themes or Metamorphs to your ROM in the past: Download Theme Restore, and flash with ClockworkMod Recovery. (Be patient, it will take several minutes to reboot.) Otherwise you may skip this step.
Chose your preferred version of SBG below. Download and flash with ClockworkMod Recovery. (Be patient, it will take several minutes to reboot.)
Just as with all my updates, it is unnecessary to disable Voodoo before flashing.

Reported working on the following ROMs:
This version is currently untested on anything other than Bionix-v 1.2.1. If you know what you're doing, please report back to me. Don't forget to make a nandroid backup!
Change Log:
SBG 2.6
Ported to Bionix-v 1.2.1
That's it! I've been lazy lately.
SBG 2.5
Ported once more to Bionix-v.
Improved GPS animation.
Improved GB style tabs in some applications.
Added back TWiz text selection and toast frames.
SBG 2.4
Ported yet again to Nero v5.
Added some new GB style icons to TWiz Quick Settings.
SBG 2.3
Ported to Nero v4.1.
Adds Jocelyn's accurate battery mod.
Adds my five bar signal strength mod, themed to look exactly like GB.
Themed TWiz Quick Settings in status bar to look more like GB.
WiFi signal strength displays properly.
This list would be longer but a lot of my changes from 2.2.2 already made it into Nero v4.1.
Addons/Older Versions/More Customization:
From now on I'll be using birgertime's ACS Java application for all addons, older versions, and eventually more ways to customize your experience. I'll also include betas, requests and minor updates. I'm still in the process of getting everything I'd like on there, but it's starting to look pretty good! If there's anything you'd like to see on there, or if you have any contributions, please don't hesitate to ask/share in this thread. I feel this application has a lot of potential! Don't forget to thank birgertime, and leave him feedback!
Thanks/Credz:
sombionix and Team Whiskey for the base of all my themes (so far).
jocelynmallon of Team Whiskey for her accurate battery graphics.
birgertime for his ACS application, and for providing me a repo, plus server space!
My loyal crew for answering questions in my thread, and keeping me sane.
Anyone else who's helped me out along the way, feel free to PM me if you think I've forgotten you!
If you enjoy, appreciate, or find anything I (or anyone else for that matter) posted helpful, please don't forget to click thanks. I know I'm not developing ROMs, but it does take some effort to make these, and to share everything. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

This is just to make it look a little more authentically Gingerbread, and clean it up a bit. Nothing flashy for now, but I might mike something a little more exciting based off this. I'm open for suggestions! Anyone else is more than welcome to use this as a base for their themes as well. Make sure you don't flash any themes made from older versions of Nero though, as you'll lose a lot of optimizations added in this version. Alternatively, if you already have, this will bring you back to v3.

I don't see why not. I haven't looked at the TWiz version, but if there was any TWiz theming it will be replaced by GB. It shouldn't break anything, but if it does just report it; I'll help you get back to normal and make a TWiz version that will work. I wouldn't worry though, you should be fine. Please report back and let me know how it went.

Great work, I like the option to change the faves button. ONE thing, you could possibly include the froyo stock keyboard in this by simply pulling the lib file and apk from cm6. Other than that this is pretty cool. Happy to see more work being done with the Slide lately
tKoHaXoR, you can read my mind. Actually, this is what I am looking for - a clean version. This makes me think of the good old days with my O2 XDA II and clean Windows Mobile ROM on it.
Is a2sd working with just having the ext partition or do you still need to flash the zip and enable it? Has anyone tried data2ext yet on this build?
I really want to try this ROM but please tell me that how can I add the HTC keyboard in this. I try to put the HTC_IME into the app folder of the zip but fail. And if I can do that, do I need to do anything else with the lib?
I love this rom so far. i really wish the stock espresso swpye was working

This is a build ported from a vibrant setup, some tweaks that dfgas incorporated into the last few builds, some extra tweaks from here and there, and extended settings built in. It is very smooth and fast after letting it settle in for a bit.
Let me know how it is for you. You can wipe data or just cache and dalvik...I do all 3...enjoy.
Thanks to anyone that has a hand in developing for the fascinate / mesmerize...the list would be too long to write!

-new option of miui app drawer
-pick setup, then enable, wait a couple seconds for drawer to load up, then swipe down from top of screen slightly lower than status bar to pull down drawer (almost right at bottom edge of status bar)...takes a little getting used to swipe area as it is very small.
-new options of hiding signal bars and headset icons
-new option of appdrawer background color
-new "on the fly" statusbar layout switching (no need to refresh statusbar anymore)
-new options of autostarting appdrawer
-charging animation it top bar fixed
Here is a link to the v6 supercharger thread...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=18703418&postcount=5021
I would suggest installing the latest supercharger script...http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=792186&d=1322022964 and the app script manager...http://market.android.com/details?id=os.tools.scriptmanager
Download both, change the supercharger scripts name from .pdf to .txt, install script manager, go into script managers options and turn on browse as root, then navigate to the directory you downloaded the supercharger script to within the app, click on it, select run as root, then run. Follow the scripts prompts, and as a suggestion, I use option 7. This makes the phone fly even faster at all times even with many apps open. I would have incorporated this into the rom, but the developer would rather you visit the thread to get it.
Downloading now. Thanks!
First impressions:
(Background: Wiped all three from "mounts and storage" menu)
Appears to be based off of MIUI Android (UK port of MIUI) as opposed to MIUI.US. Not sure what diffferences (if any) apply other than the bootani and background. Amiright?
Extended settings built-in is quite awesome.
Noticed MiuiCompass wasn't in there (but DSP Manager was...awesome again). Attached in case you don't have the apk and want to add it in the future.
MMS sent over 3G on first try.
I am not sure which market you bundled with it, but I always go in and remove marketUpdater and add back in the old vending.apk. (This isn't a criticism, just something I do that might be good to know in case I have future issues that may be caused by that mod...I know I am probably rare in liking the old market.)
So far so good. Now I just need to grow a pair and figure out how to swap kernels in the zipfile so I can throw Glitch v13RC1 in there; at which point I'll truly have my "Flash one-and-done".
Great work, Rick S. Can't wait for the full list of changes/tweaks! Thanks again.
Will this work on the Telus version?

Compass.apk should be in there, but thanks anyway. Basically if porting from a "stock" setup, roms wont differ very much at all, but another difference is that the reboot options are capitalized. I would love to have glitch v13 in there, but its not publically released yet. I do install it on mine though. All you need is the boot.img and the lib/modules folder...modules need to match boot.img that was built.

Ive honestly never looked into the differences between the two carriers. Im guessing no because there are probably some rom differences along with the kernel differences.

Looks great Rick!
Thanks for sharing and spending time doing this.
I am going to give this a try now, I am coming from 1.11.4, and I have yet to try the extended settings yet, so this will be great to check it out at the same time.

Well I'll be damned... When did they change the name of the compass app?? I feel like a frigign' genius now.

I wasn't suggesting you put V13 in there. I was just commenting on my own lack of courage to do it myself more than anything. Thanks for the tip though.
Been installing apps and such basically nonstop since install and listening to music on it. No issues. I did update to Glitch v12RC1 right off the bat as well.
So far, this seems to be about as stable as the 9-16 release which has been my fall-back. I've had the fewest issues with that one. Hopefully this one will be my new 9-16. (Will find out when I get home and see how it handles the wifi/3g handoff that seems to have been causing the most problems on the latest few roms for me)

Thank you for the reply. I know there are differences the big one is one cdma and the other is gsm. I did not see the vibrant mention the first time in the OP. if anyone knows of a compatible miui for the Telus version pm me please I would love to try it
Looks great Rick...thanks again. I had issues with the other '11' roms so far and was back on the 10.28. And also big.thanks for the easy instructions for installing super charger....I couldn't get then to stick a month ago....no problems this time ( used your suggestion....will tweak later after I settle in) only issue is google+ fc at start up. I don't use it so not a huge deal.....will uninstall and install new......phone is flying.
Edit: Re-install of Google+ did the trick. Can't believe how fast and smooth this phone is running now.
Thanks for the responses. Im going to update some MIUI mods and put links in the op soon...launcher mod and screen transitions are some.

Sorry about that...my gmail seems to work fine though. I used JT's 3 button recovery fix kernel because its probably the most used throughout various roms. It doesnt have bln. You can flash any kernel you like though and it will work fine as long as the kernels allows for it.

GSM and CDMA roms/kernels aren't cross compatible. The phones share a name, that's it, they're pretty different when you get down to the nuts and bolts (or silicon and copper.)

"Hmmm. I just had huge success flashing jt's 3ButtonFix.zip kernel over the 1.11.4, making big improvements in battery and GPS. But this is an upgrade, using the same kernel, even though my current ROM is working fine. Hmmm..." thinks the flash junkie as he tries to pretend he might not go ahead and flash this anyway.
Edit: Of course I flashed it, with the script. Running great. Overnight, battery stays in high 90s.
All I can say is wow!! This is by far the most responsive miui build I've ever used, running the script on setting seven as suggested running glitch v13 ml OC`d to 1440..very smooth, plus have all the reboot options again nicely done, thanks much sir!

Edit: Linpack score 25.4, Quadrant 2850
In the past the miui builds I've run while being in my opinion nicer to use have always seemed more sluggish than Vanilla or cm7, not now..

No worries....just wanted to throw that out there. I know at the worst I will need to wipe all three. Been lazy and not wiping Data lately. Loving this big time though so the BLN is not a deal breaker in the least.
Ugghhh.. The Glitch app is FC-ing even after going back to stock ED05 and and installing this MIUI ROM from scratch. Any suggestions?

I actually ported the MIUIScotland 1.11.9 ICS framework I9000 rom to the fascinate. It seems the only difference are a couple added files within the framework and a few files elsewhere, along with the version number in the build prop. Its not even worth playing with though. There are no noticeable differences anywhere. Waist of time just in case anyone was wondering or has heard of it.

Now on to porting galnet ICS MIUI?
;-)
*NO LONGER BEING UPDATED!!!!*
I will begin working on a ROM for the T-mobile Galaxy Note II if any of you want to follow me.
This is our first ROM!
CypherROM has been optimized and themed to give you an experience on your view that you've never had before
If you like my work, please hit the "Donate to me" Button above my avatar!
Huge thanks to jay4255 for teaching me how to use the kitchen and customize, to Dsixda for his awesome ROM kitchen, to Globatron for S-off, to Unixdood for help with testing building our kernel and teaming up with me on this project, scabes24 and Joshua for graphics and theme support, to Contradude and ACS for the amazing ROMs they've had for the view that inspired me to build CypherROM, to Kevinrocksman for bootanimations, the multitool, hosting my files, and a million other things, to E.T. Heil who hosts the IRC channel for us and built the Bootanimation, to HTCFlyerX for helping me learn more about xml, the Sony Bravia Engine, and to everyone here on XDA that has helped me learn all that I have on multiple devices over the last 2 years.
DISCLAIMER: I am not responsible if you brick your device.
Features:
-Based off of OTA_Express_HC_S_Sprint_WWE_2.23.651.1-1.22.651.2_release_2310617n25jzbh791c6frl.zip
-Rooted
-Busybox
-Deodexed
-Zipaligned on boot
-Bash shell & nano installed
-Sysro/sysrw scripts
-init.d support
-Custom Bootanimation
-HTC black Downanimation
-Both 3G/4G and WiFi Only Versions
-Custom Wallpaper on boot
-Fully functioning HW Keys
Changelog in post #2.
Known Issues:
-You MUST flash CypherROM 1.0 before flashing 1.1 or you will bootloop. There is a known issue with a couple files causing bootloops (I'm pretty sure it's the kernel because when I tested 1.1 without jmztaylor's kernel I had ZERO issues.)
-If you are going to flash the theme on the WiFi only version, you must first flash the ROM, then reboot into recovery and wipe cache and dalvik cache then flash the theme or you will bootloop.

MODS:
see THIS for Advanced Power Menu and Extended Quick Settings MODs confirmed working on CypherROM!
Once you DL the file, simply place it on the root of your SD card and flash it from recovery, and enjoy. Be sure to thank J4n87 for his hard work on this!
WARNING : If you live in a WiMAX area and use 4G this mod will cause some issues i.e. 4G remains toggled after you enable it and can't be disabled (I had this issue, doesn't mean everyone will.) YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
Installation instructions:
1. Go to recovery (After running kevin's tool or copy it manually to the sdcard)
2. do a data/factory reset
3. Go to mounts and storage and format /system
4. Go to advanced and wipe dalvik-cache
5. Wipe cache partition
6. flash the rom
7. flash the theme

Yeah i'm overhauling this right now. I'm going to take down the DL for a bit til I figure something out. I did test BT with my stereo bt headset and it worked perfectly, as well as pretty much everything else, so I don't know what went wrong that borked WiFi and WiMax. I'll keep poking now that I'm off work.
EDIT: Overhaul complete. Link is back up!

Ok I discovered what I did wrong, went back to the stock base and rebuilt it. Alpha 2 has had no issues thus far for me. Still need some people to test more for me.
Been looking for some new stuff to flash, ill give it a whirl after a full charge
Flashed alpha2 WiFi now works
Will play for a while and report findings
Awesome to hear! I've been using it for a few days now. What else do you guys want me to add/ modify? Let me know BC im working on the alpha 3 now
I like that you are continuing development and I look forward to your beta and finished products. Something new is always better than something old

TB is there. I can add ES if you want, but I like root explorer better. Keep it coming. I'm doing some theming right now and deciding on some apps to add.
