I updated to this ROM and for some reason I can't find where to update the Market, I'm still using the old market, any way to do it?

I want to setup EWjet ROM, I used to have Trip's Cyanogen, Bluesparks, Z's free Beta 4 and reverted to Stock ROM, so now I am sick of it.
The problem is that I tried to get xRecovery but I couldn't as Z is referring to the xRecovery v0.3 in his thread.

Nevertheless, I managed to get it from another source but it caused a bootloop so I flashed the stock ROM again

Xrec 1.0 handles different scripts to xrec 0.3
Unless the .zip specifically says use 1.0 then you need 0.3 installed.
If you want to go back to 0.3 attach your phone to flastool, click on ask root permissions and click on xrecovery.
It will reinstall xrec 0.3 for you.
PS, i have found that backups can be made and restored on the either version.
so a backup on 0.3 can be restored on 1.0 and vice versa
In several pics of the x10 gb i saw what i think.is the so called new market but mine is still the same, does it update on its own? Or i have to do it

old market recommended for now.
i don't exactly now how to install it or update, but when i flashed the new WB 2.3.3 rom it was there for me...

Hey need some help I uninstall my market store app( why I was updating it to a inverted version which you uninstall the updates first but it didn't work after a few minutes it always updated it back to 3.0.6) that's why I deleted it then reinstall it but now it's not showing up in the app list. Do I reinstall the rom again?? And not a noob just never incounter most of the problems people get when flashing and so on. I guess I'm lucky

just create and sync google account . market should appear then..

am using revolution rom on my sgs2 now.. it's pre installed with swype 3.
i wanna revert back to stock swype i.e 2.xx. is there a way. plaese help.

uninstall swype 3 using titanium back up and reinstall the version you prefer if you can find it.

you mean the original gb and froyo browsers right? you need to google them. no u dont have to be rooted.
jus download the apk,place it on ur sd. install them thry any file managers. remember to check " install from unknown sources" in your phone. thats it

I found some old Browser.apk here on xda and tried to install on my phone without success. It says it's going to replace my default browser, but I thought I could have two versions installed.
Anyway, I hit OK trying to install but the installation fails. Maybe because I'm not rooted and it's trying to replace a system app.
Is there a way to force this apk to install as a second browser option?

Unless it's signed, it won't install normally. You can try signing the apk, but I doubt that it will install regardless. Using the browser from a different version of android isn't the same as viewing a website on a different version of android.
