All These Rooted questions need to be moved - Thunderbolt Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've got regular questions and this general section is being taken over for all the root problems.

What we need is a question and answer section.

Android development for the Verizon HTC Thunderbolt is where all the rooted questions should be.

I don't live in a 4G area and I want to know about people with 3G speeds...

The G2 / desire z has a dedicated Q&A section. I think we should have something like that here too.

[Q] Best ICS Mods?

Just recently installed Cyanogen 9 alpha ICS which I love as my daily driver despite camera and 4g not working. Can anyone suggesting if there are any good mods out there for ICS. Thanks.

Thanks. Despite the alpha I do really like it. Battery drain is an issue though.

You are not very good at trolling. You were at one time I will admit, but you have been slacking.
Anyway, no mods as of yet, but I did ask Nitroz to port his theme over and he said he would.

Go to the 3D section, then q&a and in the app hit the stickies at the top and it will be listed there.

3.4 Kernel *BUMP* thread.

Hello everyone!
Saw this on the Ruby 3.4 Kernel thread

Everytime I see this thread rise up to the top my hopes rise and then I click it to see it's someone going "so how's progress going". Obviously if he had something he'd have shared it already.

I was thinking the exact same thing... getting too much notifications about activity on the thread whereas it is just discussion and general things, So I took the liberty of making this thread so that @sportsstar89 and all the other developers can spend more time working and less on replying ETA and general questions in dev area! Rather it's just a BUMP thread here so we can ask @sportsstar89 about his football and school routine I guess and so rest of Amaze4G forum stops frantically rushing to the Ruby 3.4 Kernel thread.
P.S. @kusso92 @ezdi I am as anxious as you guys are!!
Ciao!
In my honest opinion, Sports should just LOCK the 3.4 kernel thread until he is ready for something so no one posts useless crap on it. it takes only ONE person to bump it all the way to the top of the thread list. People don't understand.
That's just what I think. There's developers that have to deal with a lot of OT on their threads so they occasionally lock it to let it cool down. Then they unlock it.
Edit: Also, I don't see how this is going to help. Sorry to burst your bubble, Huzaifa.
Bump lol

Best Kernel?

I'm in the process of rooting my One then I plan on going with with the stock android edition. I'd like to know which kernel I should flash. There seems to have been a lot of development for the One and I'm finding it hard to catch up. I've heard there are some kernels which let you charge the phone a little faster and to me that would be a nice benefit to have. I've heard it could wear your battery down a little faster however I don't plan on having it long enough for that to be an issue. Any tips would be great!
Thanks,
Duck
The one you're referring to as charging your phone faster is the one I'm using (thoravukk). They are all pretty good just make sure you use the one that is made for the ROM you choose to flash.

Sorry but no, you don't have to be a moderator to follow the rules.
Why is that so hard for people to understand? The moderators are a minority compared to users and things would go much smoother if people would follow the rules to begin with.
