No sound while recording videos. - Thunderbolt Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was just wondering if anyone else was having issues with the camcorder app not recording audio? I tried playing the clips with rockplayer and vplayer but neither worked. Speakerphone works but is there any other way to test this?

Try it again but this time speak louder. Mine sucks at picking up voice or any sound.

No sound while recording video

Hey,
Yesterday I received my Galaxy 2. Now I'm involved in some testing and I noticed that while recording a movie no sound is recorded. The voice recorders etc does also not work. I have read that the microphone for using handsfree is also used for recording a movie and it just works (I have test handsfree). Does anyone know if there's a setting or something, that the mic. is muted?

[Q] Audio Input Gain Control HELP!

Hi guys,
can anybody help me find a way to reduce the audio input gain?
I was trying to use my SGS II to record some live concerts and rehearsals of my band and all I got was HORRIBLE distortion.
I tried to google my problem but no success yet.
Please help!
Up!
I didn't mentioned that I am talking about the audio quality of video recording and I am running on the original ROM that came with the phone.
Nothing? Anybody?
As of now I don't know of any software solution to lower the mic gain when recording video.
However, I've heard that using the headset that came with your phone (earbuds with mic attached) while recording video should use the mic on the headset, which will result in better audio (albeit in mono instead of in stereo, but that's a small sacrifice) in the video recording. I've not tried it personally, but you could try that out.

It doesn't have to be the headset that came with the phone, I think any headset which you can use the mic in calls should work.
My Zagg Smartbuds worked fine with this method.

Multi-Track Recording Studio

I was wondering if such a thing exists for our Touchpad? I'm able to plug my external mic in via an iPhone invention (Tazcam) as well as my guitar, and the basic sound recorder works with both. The sound quality is amazing to say the least.
Any suggestions?

I believe Pocketband - uLoop does it but I never tried to record sounds with it so I don't know how well it works.
im waiting for FLstudio mobile to come out for android, thats the whole reason i got this touchpad
Right, but I can't record on my analog mic in Android. I'm talking about being able to record in webOS so that audio quality and mic is optimal. Lemme tell you guys, just using the voice recorder with my XLR mic plugged into my Tascam analog preamp makes some AMAZING sounding recordings.

bluetooth audio issue

I am on Sprint, rooted and have frozen some bloatware. Poweramp insists on playing automatically whenever I get in the car. They cannot support me and do not have an answer. Is there a music player out there that does not start up automatically whenever it finds a bt connection? I have tried Jetaudio and did not like the audio quality. I have also notice that sometimes I am getting only one channel of stereo. Any suggestions?
Update : also noticing that bt sometimes streams only one channel...
