Grab "Spare Parts" off the market and see if you have an app not letting your phone sleeping or something because that's really what it sounds like.

Yeah its normal. Battery will drain regardless from 100, because its not good health for the battery to keep its charge at 100 percent.

Battery status

Hi,
When I check which apps are consuming the most battery drain, I have the following
2 procent cell standby
2 procent
96 procent Android OS
I have turned everything off when I don't use it, no auto sync.
Task manager to kill open apps.
My battery lasts 2,5 days with checking mails 5 times a day (manual sync)
But I feel like I could get more out of it.
Sometimes I see people with 8 procent Android OS or something
I know that the percentage of Android OS draining my battery is just an indication compared to the rest of the apps draining battery, so if mail would consume more this percentage would be higher,
But my question is why the big difference between 96 % and 3 % Android OS usage

battery problem awake while phone is idle

So I have narrowed down why my battery dies even when I'm not using my phone...for some reason when I look at the stats under battery usage, the battery seems to be awake almost 60 to 70 percent of the time, EVEN when I'm not using the phone...my battery lasted a total of 15 hours...I made a 20 minute phone call and screen usage was 25 minutes on lowest settings....4g was on wifi was on...automatic background data was off...gps on....everything else was off....why is the phone waking when it is not being used???? any way to find out?

Have you tried restarting your phone and then tracking the battery usage?
Just my .02 here, I installed Earth HD live wallpaper and the phone went crazy. I keep it plugged into my laptop during the day and noticed that the battery was slowly draining instead of maintaining, not much only a couple of percent. Toward the end of the day I noticed the the battery charge was in the 50% range and dropping fast, you could see the go down so I did a reboot and the charge came back at 4%. So you may want to look at what you have installed and try removing apps that may cause issues. I removed the app and now no problems, I'm also using Beastmod.

Battery Indicator Problem

When I charge my android to 100% the battery discharge so weird, it discharges from 100% to 85% the 1% takes 8 min and when it reaches 85% to 75% the 1% takes only 2 min and from 75% to 0% the 1% takes 3 min, so I think the battery indicator is the problem because the battery is good and still new I'm pretty sure about that, so can you help me with this problem and how to fix it.
Thanks.

Battery Usage monitor doesn't show much used

I check the Lg stock battery usage monitor but it lists the top 5 things as 8%, 5%, 2%, 2% and 2%. Where is the other 80% or the battery being used?

battery drain problem

anytime i charge the phone to 100% or above 93% the battery drains really quickly and then it goes down normaly after it's 89% or 88%
